We've been going to Duffy's deli for over 40 years, and always considered it a nice neighborhood deli. I came in to buy 4 hard rolls on Saturday. There were 4 people behind the counter taking care of 5 young men's orders. I asked if they had rolls for sale ? (My husband buys his rolls there every other day). I was told yes. I waited more than 10 minutes for the counter people to finish the orders, they were still putting it together. Finally, I asked nicely if I perhaps could buy 4 rolls. Well, the senior man behind the counter became irate and screamed at me, that I should wait in line. (I thought perhaps one person could break away for a moment, as there were 4 people behind the counter) The "gentleman" screamed at me and said he would not sell me any rolls, and I should "get out of the store, and never come back or he would call the police!!" I was completely shocked by this behavior, asked his name, which he said was "Duffy, just like the sign on the door". It was unbelievable rude behavior, I've not heard or seen anything like this before. Needless to say we and our family and friends will not take our business here anymore. We shall go to the deli by the Jamesport Post Office. read more

Nice little home town deli that has a decent sandwich selection. Stopped here before heading to the wineries and got the texas hero. Hero was big and had plenty of meat. I got blue cheese instead of ranch and the mixture with their bbq sauce was awesome. They also have an assortment of homemade muffins and crumb cakes which are very good. read more

My wife and I stopped at Duffy's Deli for coffee and rolls. Two ladies were working behind the counter busy filling a large order. A young male was working inside the kitchen and from past experience, I knew that is where my lightly buttered rolls would be made. I asked the male if he could prepare two rolls for me when he was able, and I went and got coffee. As I checked out at the counter and was paying the bill, The young lady asked if I was only having coffee. I said no and told her that I had asked for two rolls from the man in the kitchen. At that point the man came forward and told me that I was rude and should not have come into the kitchen which I had not. I payed for the coffee and left the store. I went down the road to another deli and purchased two rolls. I will not be returning to Duffy's Deli and I think that others should consider taking their business elsewhere too. read more

Duffy's Deli is on the main street not too far before you get on the LIE so was a convenient location for us to stop for lunch. My husband and I shared two wraps: The California wrap was delicious! I highly recommend it. It has turkey, fresh mozzarella, avocado, red onions, and ranch dressing. We got the whole grain wrap. Yum. The second wrap we got was called Main Road and it had green & red peppers, carrots, mushrooms, fresh mozzarela, red onions, and Balsamic dressing. The veggies were supposed to be grilled but they were raw. It was good but not as tasty as the California wrap. We would stop here again. I waited in the car so can't comment on the inside of the deli, but the outside was cute. It had a little porch and someone was sitting at the table enjoying his lunch. read more

Was out in the North Fork for a girls weekend and stopped at Duffy's to grab some bfast on our way out of town. I gotta say after a weekend of heavy drinking amongst other questionable activities, Duffy's really hit the spot. I had the biggest homemade Arnold Palmer which was so freakin good and def what I need to start the rehydration process, accompanied by the breakfast burrito which was spot on! Flavors were amazing and they didn't skimp on the typical burrito accompaniments. Topped that all off with the biggest chocolate chip cookie/brownie/cake thing which was also pretty good. Duffy's is my new spot when out in the North Fork. PS...PS... they have some pretty good lookin craft beers on tap and by the bottle...who would've thought? Probability of return: Definite read more

This deli has some great breakfast sandwiches. The standard bacon & eggs, and turkey and egg whites are great . But you have to try there version of steak and eggs. It's 2 eggs ,roast beef and cheddar on a roll. It's incredible. read more

It was a gorgeous Sunday morning and my friend and I decided we wanted to have a picnic lunch instead of eating in a restaurant, so we headed over to Duffy's for bagels before leaving for the beach. I got an everything bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese, which was delicious. In addition to the deli meats and sandwiches, Duffy's also has all of the snack food you'd ever want, plus a really nice selection of craft beers as well. read more

Walked in 5 minutes before 5pm and they told us they were closing in 5 min and didn't serve us. Very disappointed.

I've been in this deli a minimum of once a week for years. I am a local and work long shifts on Manor Lane and have always called in my orders for pickup on my way to work. I used to even refer my own customers here. On my last order they had given me an extremely botched version of what I had called in, to the point that I had thrown it out. Of course every human and business makes mistakes, but considering they charge an arm and a leg for sandwiches now, I figured it was worth it to give them a call and ask for some form of a credit for the next time I came in. Because I headed straight to work for a 10 hour shift, prior to checking my order as usual, the deli was closed by the end of my work day. The next day I called immediately after leaving church, and spoke to who was apparently the manager. I explained the situation and his response to me was "Well I was here all day yesterday and you didn't call so there's nothing I can do." To which I explained the situation again, that I work long shifts with no break and the deli had closed. He again just told me that he wouldn't do anything. There was no customer service and I was appalled at how this small business treated it's loyal and frequent customers. I told them how often I was in and out of the deli, which any small business owner should recognize as a priority customer. Extremely disappointed, and disgusted. Goldbergs down the road will be receiving all my business and referrals from now on. read more

$11 for a wrap is a little much from a deli. Besides the high prices here, the food is average. Don't expect too much and this is a good place to grab something on the run. They have a nitro cold brew coffee tap from Sail Away which BLEW me away. It was the BEST coffee I've ever had. You must try it if you.come here. read more

I don't know how Duffy's doesn't have 5 stars. This has been my favorite deli for as long as I can remember, even though I don't live full-time out here. Every time I bring my friends out here, they always ask to stop at Duffy's first before anything else. Aside from their food being excellent every time without fail, their customer service is really my favorite part. The staff is ALWAYS friendly. Just now, I ordered a bagel and got the wrong order given to me. I didn't realize until I got home though, so I called to let them know in case they were about to give my order to someone else. I was told they could DELIVER me my right order without a problem. The nicest kid came and dropped it off so quickly. Now this is already above average deli customer service standards in my book, especially considering the current situation our society is in due to the stress of corona virus. Not only did Duffy's fix their mistake for me, they also delivered me a piece of their crumb cake (which happened to be the best crumb cake I've ever had). Thank you Duffy's for always putting your customers first, no matter what, and for always making the absolute best food. The Waters family (and friends) all love you! read more

Greek salad with chunks of grilled chicken was very good....lots of bottled drink choices also...

My favorite breakfast sandwich on the east end, was absolutely crushed when they sold the duffys in riverhead!!! The cheese is always perfectly melted (harder than you would think for some places) and the bacon isn't thick cut like other delis, so you get that nice crisp crunch you're looking for... can't speak on lunch items as I usually only stick to my egg sandwich. I'm a creature of habit and I surely have never been disappointed! read more
