That said, service here is a lot faster than at Olga's across the street, and this deli has iced coffee which Olga's doesn't so, trade offs. The inside of this place is very much standard deli vibes with not much standing room to wait. IMHO - If you take your coffee hot, like saving money and have time to spare, Olga's is your deli. If you have no time to waste, deep pockets and need iced coffee to survive, Deli Delight is the right decision.

They serve hot food as well as standard sandwiches and they stuff the sandwiches quite a bit, almost too much. The service at the counter is always friendly when they take my order. The issue is, they are extremely overpriced. A bologna sandwich on a simple roll and a seltzer should not be approximately $20. The chicken cutlets are microwaved when they are ordered and they just aren't good and they are very pricy. Also, they don't sell drinks in cans, which would be a bit cheaper because a bottle of soda for $4 is just not fair. If you want a standard deli sandwich, at a reasonable price, I'd try a different deli in the area.

They all engaged the customers in conversation and made a real effort to get to know everyone. The food was really good. I had a Nick Rocco hero (I'm thrilled to be back on Long Island where heros are the correct nomenclature). It was delicious and big enough to share. This tastes exactly how you'd imagine, the pesto was aromatic and well distributed, the grilled chicken had a slight char though it was a bit on the dryer side, and the mozzarella and peppers added a nice freshness to it. Their mac salad is decent and their house pickles are zingy. Now, the size of this thing is the real problem. It quite literally fit in the palm of my hand and I wasn't exactly full after it. Besides the smaller sandwich size, I still enjoyed it and would try something else from here should I be in the area again.
