The deli is unassuming with plenty of tables to eat indoors, or just order and go. Did not care what time it was, I had to have their egg sandwich. Yes, I read something about that they have the best egg sandwiches on the North Fork. The staff was friendly and so were the patrons that entered the Deli. It was your typical hometown comfortable ambience that I love about this deli. All the sandwiches were delicious, especially the egg sandwich. i had the homefries and bacon sides........ they were just ok. i said i was eating there but they were stuffed in small plastic containers. it was hard to eat the bacon that way. it kept crumbling and it was stuck together. the potatoes were cut nice and tasted good though. it is a very nice place though. i'd probably try something else next time. staff was very friendly. read more

We had breakfast here and enjoyed it very much. The owner was very excited about the possibility of the Yankees playing the Mets in the Series. The atmosphere is almost like an old country store. Ordered thirty feet of hero for a party that took place yesterday. All the guests were extremely impressed with the quality of the sammies especially the chicken cutlet and fresh mozzarella. The generous portions of meat and cheese on the Italian and the American were tremendous. Great bread, excellent cold cut and cheese placement and superb lettuce/tomato ratio. If you think my review is silly because I denote the quality of the bread and placement and ratio recognize that these are the things that differentiate a mediocre sandwich from a phenomenal sandwich.
