Been coming here for decades, and have always enjoyed it. We had burgers snd a cheese omelet, which quite surprisingly took the better part of an hour to deliver to the table. Bun & Burger will be there for you with bacon, eggs, potatoes, bread and anything else you need to shove into your face before you are recovered enough to drive back into the city. I think when you order an item for $6 and it's not exactly what you ordered, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to get the order right and provide better care to customers. Stopped in to Bun & Burger as it was a favorite haunt of my uncle's. He would order a dish he made up and was named, "Lipp Stack". It consists of pancakes, ham and eggs stacked up. Not too bad. The Bun & Burger itself is a basic diner, nothing fancy. The waitstaff is friendly and hustles around as the place can be quite crowded. Obviously they are open to taking your not necessarily on the menu meal request and making it a reality. Worth stopping in if you need a breakfast fix! Keep in mind they are cash only. read more

My family and I decided to get breakfast before going to the beach the other morning, and chose Bun N Burger. The food is good. It's a typical little luncheonette with great breakfast. I was disappointed because the place is so incredibly run down. The seats are gross & ripped. The place could be such a cute place to sit and eat without the rush of main street, but I'm turned off by how ugly it looks inside. This restaurant has been around for over 20 years and has been known for its good food. I haven't been here in a while and was looking forward to it. We came for breakfast last week and were so disappointed! The place is filthy, dirty tables, floors, ripped seats,lipstick on the cups and 100's of ants crawling up the wall and table. The waitress seemed annoyed to wait on us and was having words with another employee in front of customers. It was a horrible experience. I visit Westhampton about twice a year and usually make a stop here as it's about the closest thing to an authentic diner in town. No frills, good but Hamptons-pricy food, friendly staff. The only oddity is that they have no idea what a patty melt is. I get a blank look each time I order one, then have to describe how to make one. I was in town for a mini-weekend getaway with some gal pals, and we stopped here for lunch. What a lovely experience! I had the clamwich and it was BOMB. The people working were also amazingly friendly. I'm going to insist the gals and I go back before leaving so I can get another clamwich. And such reasonable prices!! So impressed. read more

Kicked Cripple to the Curb. Stay away. Food is not even passable. I am in a cast and use crutches. I sat down at a booth and was immediately told by rude waitress that I might have to be moved. I ordered immediately and was told I needed to wait. Another waitress took my order. Food was delivered and looked awful. I ordered a Spinach and Feta Omelette. The cheese was not even melted in the least bit. The home fries looked used. Juice or coffee are not even included. Was almost finished and I was asked to move. Carried my own plate and crutches to the counter. I am 6'1" tall. My knees were up against the counter and my foot in the cast was pointed at a god awful direction. It was unbearable to sit there. I stood up and took one forkful and walked out. I paid my bill and they did not even know how to make change. They asked me if I wanted to speak to a manager, and it was their policy to ask people to move if needed. When I left, there were plenty of booths available. I am by far not a young man and was the first time ever I walked out without leaving a good size tip. No way to treat a cripple or any other person for that matter. Did I mention I am in a cast and have crutches. They need to say, cripples need not enter. They obviously have not heard of the American with Disabilities Act. My lawyer will be getting a phone call first thing Monday morning. Thank you for nothing. Zero stars. read more
