Decent food and service. Food is alright tho it took a while to be ready. It's like a modern retro restaurant

I really wanted to love Cluckman's! I've lived on the East End for almost 30 years and when people invest in opening a business in these economic times they deserve a chance to succeed! There are way too many vacant stores and closed restaurants! That being said I finally made it to Cluckmans on a beautiful September day about 1PM. There's a beautiful park with picnic tables adjacent to the parking lot that overlooks the harbor. The restaurant was not busy as I walked right up to order. The place is clean and well organized with about 8 tables and a condiment counter with free ketchup, mayo, mustard,ranch and honey mustard. Since it's my first visit I ordered the Traditional Chicken Sandwich and Hand cut fries. Service was quick but the sandwich is way too big for the small bun, there was way too much Thousand Island dressing and it was spilling out all over the wrapper! I took the sandwich apart and wiped away as much of the dressing and ate the chicken and avocado separately! It was actually pretty good! The fries were a very generous sized sack but they obviously had been sitting for a while because they were not crisp, very soggy and oily! I would like to give them another try but I would definitely think about a larger bun and ease up on the dressing! I wish them good luck! read more

The $10 birthday cake shake is just vanilla with sprinkles. Doesn't taste at all like a birthday cake. Gross.

What the hell happened to Cluckman's ? I loved this place a few weeks ago. Tonite I went in. Ordered a bunch of things. It took forever. I mean come on, did the chef leave ? What's happening ? And then when the order finally arrived after 20mins. We drove away only to discover a burger missing. And all the fried food was so bad. Like literally everyone was feeling sick. Old oil ? What's the story Cluckmans ? If you go on like this you're not gonna see another summer. It was all really not good. A very disappointing experience. read more

Happy to see this new addition in the neighborhood! Good prices, fast service, clean location. Kiosk ordering is quick and simple. All the kids working there are great. It's a really great place to get a quick, affordable meal for the family, Here's my experience so far as I make my way through the menu: - Popcorn Chicken is A+...great taste, love the breading on it. Can't wait to try the chicken sandwiches! - Blistered Hot Dog is tasty! - Sag Scala Salad is really good. - Sweet potato fries are ACES. - Half and Half was perfect. - Nice milkshakes! Lots of folks were enjoying them as well. - Regular French fries were super disappointing--I can't wait til I get home so we always crack open the bag in the car and even right away, they were way too greasy, soggy, and salty. - Sag Smash Burger is a pass for me. Very little onion, little to no sauce, burnt patty and greasy in the wrong way. Tried it twice thinking it was a to-go issue but there was no difference. Great place for really good burgers, fries, onion rings. Great quality, reasonable prices. Also on menu: chicken, shakes, crisp brussel sprouts, lots of salads. A very needed alternative to the high priced restaurants in the Hamptons. Owner Michael Gluckman has had many excellent restaurants in the area over the years. I'm glad to have more food choices in Sag Harbor. However, today was not a good day at Cluckmans. I ordered the popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries. The chicken was dark and dry, with no flavor at all. The sweet potato fries were great and abundant. I'm hoping they do better next time, or I will most likely stay away from this place. Pizza needs work. Given the overall quality of the rest of the Cluckman's menu I was excited for the addition of pizza as I think the quality of pizza in Sag (including Sag Pizza) is subpar. Unfortunately Cluckman's offering is perhaps the worst option. Far too greasy (way too much cheese), crust was tasty but way too thin in center leading to severe flop. Cookery, pizza technique is part of the equation to make a good pie but I'm afraid it's not where it needs to be to. Taste is solid but a greasy floppy mess is not going to make for repeat business...which is necessary for a successful pizzeria. read more

Airy family friendly new place for casual seating or takeout: reasonably priced and tasty burgers, chicken, salad, shakes. I enjoyed their real Lemonade. More of a nondescript high school hangout space inside, I'd prefer to take it to-go either home, Long Beach or at the lovely adjacent waterfront Steinbeck Park picnic tables. I love the menu and have been waiting to try this place for a few weeks. Passed by midday and ordered the signature smash burger. Relatively thin patty was maybe a quarter inch. Perhaps you need the double patty version here. Jalapeño pickles were inventive, good potato bun. Meat (mix), seasoning and portion size need adjustments. Wanted to return to try the standard issue cheeseburger instead as well as chicken selections. That opportunity came just a few hours later. Popcorn chicken was served lukewarm 15 seconds after being collected from the kitchen. Standard cheeseburger, needed seasoning as well. Definitely need a double or triple. Id bet the patties are no more than 3 ounces. I hope they continue to make improvements. Love the concept. Burgers and chicken need to be epic. It's not hard. read more

Tried to place the order on the phone, but after a very long wait on hold, gave up and drove there. REALLY wanted to love this place. Fries were inedible, onion rings were ordinary, Chicken tenders just OK-cooked fine, but little flavor. Chicken sandwich also just OK. There didn't seem to be anyone in charge. read more

i mean its ok but really expensive for a decent chicken sandwich. 80 dollars for 3 people! when i answered the phone i heard the owner yelling at the cooks.
