**EDITED WITH SECOND REVIEW** 9/24/26 Don't order the fried chicken bucket. All their other food is great! not sure if they don't cook the fried chicken in the bucket a lot or the chef that day was lazy. Was way over cooked and dry and the breading wasn't really that good. Very surprised because all their other food has been amazing!! Great food place, just don't order the chicken bucket LOL Gluckman get on that, or take it off the menu! Also I ordered mozz sticks and i don't know if they forgot or just don't give marinara sauce with it, because I didn't get any. EDIT: 9/30/26 Went there today in person, 9/30/26. Ordered two slices of already pre-made pizza. All they had to do was heat it up. Not busy at all. Waited 15-20 min, then saw my order boxed up and sat on the shelf for another 5, while I was there waiting. Even gave them a 5 dollar tip on a pick up order lol. 2 strikes Gluckmans!! You're lucky your burgers and chicken sandwiches are so good LOL Just wont be getting pizza or the fried chicken again. :( Seems since owner isn't there as much, service has gone down a lot and some of the menu items have suffered! read more

I really wanted to love Cluckman's! I've lived on the East End for almost 30 years and when people invest in opening a business in these economic times they deserve a chance to succeed! There are way too many vacant stores and closed restaurants! That being said I finally made it to Cluckmans on a beautiful September day about 1PM. There's a beautiful park with picnic tables adjacent to the parking lot that overlooks the harbor. The restaurant was not busy as I walked right up to order. The place is clean and well organized with about 8 tables and a condiment counter with free ketchup, mayo, mustard, ranch and honey mustard. Since it's my first visit I ordered the Traditional Chicken Sandwich and Hand cut fries. Service was quick but the sandwich is way too big for the small bun, there was way too much Thousand Island dressing and it was spilling out all over the wrapper! I took the sandwich apart and wiped away as much of the dressing and ate the chicken and avocado separately! It was actually pretty good! The fries were a very generous sized sack but they obviously had been sitting for a while because they were not crisp, very soggy and oily! I would like to give them another try but I would definitely think about a larger bun and ease up on the dressing! I wish them good luck! read more

The $10 birthday cake shake is just vanilla with sprinkles. Doesn't taste at all like a birthday cake. Gross.

What the hell happened to Cluckman's ? I loved this place a few weeks ago. Tonite I went in. Ordered a bunch of things. It took forever. I mean come on, did the chef leave ? What's happening ? And then when the order finally arrived after 20mins. We drove away only to discover a burger missing. And all the fried food was so bad. Like literally everyone was feeling sick. Old oil ? What's the story Cluckmans ? If you go on like this you're not gonna see another summer. It was all really not good. A very disappointing experience. read more

Cute little counter service burger/chicken sandwich spot. Tables inside and a park not far away with benches so options for eating there. I got the classic chicken sandwich and my husband got a sag smash burger. Both were very fresh and delicious. read more

Everything about this place was so good, the food was amazing, and Sag Harbor was pretty nice as well. I actually loved everything. They're not gonna lie. It was decent eve, even the tater tots were actually really good especially the loaded ones. Bro, I am telling you that chicken sandwich was seriously gas. I would FS recommend going here. read more

Amazing burgers! Don't skip on the sweet potato fries, fresh lemonade or shakes!! 10/10 would recommend

Happy to see this new addition in the neighborhood! Good prices, fast service, clean location. Kiosk ordering is quick and simple. All the kids working there are great. It's a really great place to get a quick, affordable meal for the family, Here's my experience so far as I make my way through the menu: - Popcorn Chicken is A+...great taste, love the breading on it. Can't wait to try the chicken sandwiches! - Blistered Hot Dog is tasty! - Sag Scala Salad is really good. - Sweet potato fries are ACES. - Half and Half was perfect. - Nice milkshakes! Lots of folks were enjoying them as well. - Regular French fries were super disappointing--I can't wait til I get home so we always crack open the bag in the car and even right away, they were way too greasy, soggy, and salty. - Sag Smash Burger is a pass for me. Very little onion, little to no sauce, burnt patty and greasy in the wrong way. Tried it twice thinking it was a to-go issue but there was no difference. Next time, we'll be hitting the chicken sandwiches, Birria burger, Post Workout & Mediterranean salads, and Onion Rings! read more

Great place for really good burgers, fries, onion rings. Great quality, reasonable prices. Also on menu: chicken, shakes, crisp brussel sprouts, lots of salads. A very needed alternative to the high priced restaurants in the Hamptons. Owner Michael Gluckman has had many excellent restaurants in the area over the years. Service efficient, young people employed. Very casual eating area, lots of take out. read more

Best Customer service!! I loved the way they treated us and felt very welcome with the atmosphere, the food quality was great and they have a really good smash burger with a wide variety of other foods as well. read more

Great food,we needed a place like this in Sag. Chicken sandwiches are awesome, smash burgers are full of flavor and they come in different sizes and spices. Have to try the hotdog as it's outrageous. Fries are good but to thin for my taste. But this place has it all for take out food!! read more

I'm glad to have more food choices in Sag Harbor. However, today was not a good day at Cluckmans. I ordered the popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries. The chicken was dark and dry, with no flavor at all. The sweet potato fries were great and abundant. I'm hoping they do better next time, or I will most likely stay away from this place. I'll give them one more try. read more

Went on a June Monday night and it didn't seem that crowded. However it took forever for a mediocre burger. Maybe I'll try again in October

I've lived California, Missouri, Massachusetts, Florida, Arkansas and Georgia; I was in Sag Harbor this weekend, absolutely Cluckman's has one of the best chicken sandwiches in the United States; fries were okay; I'm not sure what happened to the onion rings- soggy; my order was the last order of the night before closing , maybe they were reheat/refried or something... read more

First time eating a smashburger. I was very skeptical since I like my burgers rare and juicy. Pleasantly surprised. The drinks are a bit peculiar...no brands that I recognized but I would still go back off season. Too crowded in summer read more

Pizza needs work. Given the overall quality of the rest of the Cluckman's menu I was excited for the addition of pizza as I think the quality of pizza in Sag (including Sag Pizza) is subpar. Unfortunately Cluckman's offering is perhaps the worst option. Far too greasy (way too much cheese), crust was tasty but way too thin in center leading to severe flop. Cookery, pizza technique is part of the equation to make a good pie but I'm afraid it's not where it needs to be to. Taste is solid but a greasy floppy mess is not going to make for repeat business...which is necessary for a successful pizzeria. read more

Airy family friendly new place for casual seating or takeout: reasonably priced and tasty burgers, chicken, salad, shakes. I enjoyed their real Lemonade. More of a nondescript high school hangout space inside, I'd prefer to take it to-go either home, Long Beach or at the lovely adjacent waterfront Steinbeck Park picnic tables. You can see the sunset there. Beware of 30 min parking in that lot read more

I love the menu and have been waiting to try this place for a few weeks. Passed by midday and ordered the signature smash burger. Relatively thin patty was maybe a quarter inch. Perhaps you need the double patty version here. Jalapeño pickles were inventive, good potato bun. Meat (mix), seasoning and portion size need adjustments. Wanted to return to try the standard issue cheeseburger instead as well as chicken selections. That opportunity came just a few hours later. Popcorn chicken was served lukewarm 15 seconds after being collected from the kitchen. Standard cheeseburger, needed seasoning as well. Definitely need a double or triple. Id bet the patties are no more than 3 ounces. I hope they continue to make improvements. Love the concept. Burgers and chicken need to be epic. It's not hard. read more

Terrific food reasonably priced! The best chicken sandwiches I've ever tasted, no foolin'. I'm so glad Cluckman's opened. A great addition to Sag Harbor. read more

Wonderful food. We had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich which was just spicy enough to bring on a mild sweat. Absolutely delicious and very friendly staff. read more

The Hamptons have been begging for a spot like this. Popcorn chicken was incredible. Best smash burger in town.

Ehh. Way too salty. Other than that...so I'd say it's an inferior Shake Shack? Something like that, provided the person salting the food gets fired...Not bad, not great. read more

Tried to place the order on the phone, but after a very long wait on hold, gave up and drove there. REALLY wanted to love this place. Fries were inedible, onion rings were ordinary, Chicken tenders just OK-cooked fine, but little flavor. Chicken sandwich also just OK. There didn't seem to be anyone in charge. read more

i mean its ok but really expensive for a decent chicken sandwich. 80 dollars for 3 people! when i answered the phone i heard the owner yelling at the cooks. They also put me on hold for 5 minutes. wouldn't really recommend. Fries and onion rings were kinda good but were cold and kinda soggy. read more
