Just gave this place a shot got a "oh my" hero and for some reason my hero and water came out to $18 and change the hero is skimpy as shit and ive felt absolutely horrible since i ate it. place is a joke

Pepper Turkey , Swiss , toasted rye , extra mustard Best sandwich place on the east end!

Sean's deli is a delicious place to get an amazing sandwich! The food is always fresh and the deli is clean! Sean cares about what he serves and takes the time to know his customers. I haVe a red meat allergy and his staff is very careful when making my sandwich. The slicer is thoroughly cleaned before slicing my pepper turkey. His staff is friendly and very accommodating . Thanks for the fat sandwiches too! Sean's Place Rocks! He also does awesome catering

    Sean's Place, Southampton, NY

It's amazing to find so much good stuff coming out of this small and unassuming Southampton deli. The bbq offerings are nicely seasoned, flavorful and tender, especially the pork ribs. But it's the fried chicken that keeps me coming back. The owner (Sean, I presume) is this super nice guy always manning the counter, looking to throw in a few extras here and there. The man certainly knows how to fry his chicken. Nice and crispy outside, juicy and succulent inside. Some of the sides may need some work, and the presentation is not very appetizing, that you cant really tell that the items presented are actually delicious. The place is clean, the service is friendly and efficient, prices are fair and, above all, the quality is definitely there.

    WHERE IS THE CHEESE
    Michael T.

I write this as I reluctantly eat my Chicken Little sandwich... I don't know who you think you are, "Sean", but in what world is THIS fresh mozzarella?! $12 for a sandwich with flavorless chicken and a literal single slice of cheese. Never again.

Sign on door of Sean's Place on Job's Lane. They are adding an additional 4% "customer service charge" to all sales. What a ripoff!

Sandwiches are uninspiring. Bacon/egg/cheese sandwiches are fine. Both are wildly overpriced. Service is slow. On my most recent (and now last) visit to the Job's Lane location, I noticed a little sign (slightly bigger than the fortune in a fortune cookie) taped to the door. It read "CUSTOMER PRICING NOTICE - A 4% Customer service charge is applied to all store sales at this location." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? A service charge for what? I guess it's a stealth way to raise their already ridiculous prices without changing them on the menus. My husband thinks the sandwiches at Stop & Shop are just as good (and a fraction of the price.) Oh, and there is no bogus "service charge" there.

$8.25 for a bacon ham and 1 egg. Told them to keep it. Got the same sandwich at Schmidts for $5. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Wild Caught Fish has brought my once borderline-high cholesterol down to normal levels. I love their Wild Ceviche, Wild Calamari, and Wild Rock Shrimp. Prices of seafood are comparable to those of other high-end grocery stores on the Island, such as Wegmans and Whole Foods Market, but Citarella has a larger section of wild caught fish; for example, I do not see Wild Caught Ceviche anywhere but here. The store has other things that I want: gourmet cheese, smoked salmon, caviar, Wagyu beef, nice homemade soups, etc. Everything always looks fresh. Staff gives expert advice and stellar service. Today Zaheer, from the butcher chop, took my order and did an excellent job. Lastly, there are small tables outside to dine. You will find everything you need here for a quick lunch. I enjoy grocery shopping here even though it takes me nearly an hour's drive to come. This was my 400th Yelp review, and I proudly chose Citarella to mark that milestone. I hope that my experience delivers an impact on those who read this review.

It's hard to justify spending that much on basic groceries when there are plenty of other places offering similar (or better) quality for far more reasonable prices.

They earn top marks for serving brunch in a cocktail glass! The drink came beautifully garnished with shrimp cocktail, bacon, blue cheese-stuffed olives, and celery. I ordered mine "sub vodka for tequila" to make it a Bloody Maria, and it was absolutely perfect -- the right balance of liquor and horseradish spice, and deliciously thick, just the way I like it. I'll never order a Bloody Mary with vodka again -- tequila is the way to go! The olives added that umami punch I adore. I visited on 10/25/25 and sat at the bar. Kaylia K, my waitress and bartender, was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The restaurant itself was spotless and inviting. I also ordered the seafood nachos, which didn't cater to my tastes -- I'll pass on that next time. If you're in the Hamptons and love a well-crafted Bloody Mary, I highly recommend Lunch Lobster Roll.

Coming out here for the day made me realize I should do it more, even in the fall because there are just as many farm stand here as there are on the North Fork. I spent the day out here in the Hamptons and before heading home, I stopped here to break up the ride a bit (one of my many stops). Everything there is amazing and has been every time I come. I still dream about the special they had where their lobster salad came in a local HUGE heirloom tomato. We came at a slower time, right before the dinner rush, and our server was patient. The food came out quick. Even our crab dip, which she prefaced with it would take a while, came out quickly as well. This is a must if you're coming out east. It's not as touristy as you think as it's a local's favorite.
