This place makes some top tier sauce! I won some of their sauce in a raffle and had a $100 gift certificate to try them. I was trying to find a way to go there without having to drive so far just for food. I live an hour away from them, so the travel time is what makes going there a deal breaker consistently. It's worth going to East Hampton generally, but it should be a day thing. Not just to go eat. The person who helped us was very knowledgable and asked good questions in terms of what you'd like for your platter. The food was top quality. Our platters were worth every bit of that gift certificate and I'd love to come around this place again! I also had to buy their sauce on the way back home because we use it for some dinners. My only critiques is regarding the mac and cheese. I wish it was more of a homemade baked mac and cheese with the toasted top. But definitely good mac and cheese nonetheless. The mashed sweet potatoes were definitely too seasoned with all spice. It gave it too much of a kick than I was expecting. I liked the seating inside and outside. If we didn't have bad allergies, would've probably sat outside and enjoyed our meal. Also, this place has their own parking area. So that's definitely a plus! read more

This place is so good! I'm generally not a big fan of BBQ because a lot of times meat is the meat is dry because it was sitting around for a while, not cooked right, not good quality, etc. I for the 3 meat platter that comes with 2 small sides and a piece of cornbread. I got ribs, brisket, BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. I also got an order of the little gem salad. The ribs were some of the best I've had in years. Very juicy, excellent smoky flavor. Tender, perfectly cooked. Brisket was okay when it was warm, but after cooling off a little bit, it got very dry. I'm not a big fan of brisket in general because of how dry and hard the texture can get, but this is okay while fresh. The BBQ sauce on the side helped, but I probably wouldn't get it again here. The BBQ chicken was the most disappointing - just shredded chicken smothered in a ton of sauce. It was very dry, like sticks of matches drowning in sauce. Mashed potatoes were very buttery and delicious, but also retained some chunkiness and skin too, which I really liked. Very flavorful and decadent. Mac and cheese was very good as well, but not the toasty top kind. Still very cheesy and good, like they used real cheese. Cornbread was a surprise hit - very moist and soft, denser than most cornbreads, and a lot sweeter than most cornbreads I've had at BBQ places. It tasted more like a dessert corn cake, which I didn't mind at all. The little gem salad tasted very fresh. Dressing was just okay, and the salmon we got on top was very stinky and did not taste fresh. The skin had a nice crunch to it though. I wish the fish had been fresher. The greens were great, so I might just get it with chicken next time, or something else if they would allow that. Overall, really great food! I would definitely go back here again. It's been a while since I've been to a BBQ place that has really good smokey char flavor without tasting burnt, while still retaining juiciness (in the ribs anyway). I'd highly recommend the ribs, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, salad, and cornbread. I want to try some other items as well. Very friendly service too. read more

It's located right on the corner, you can park in the side or the back. Has outdoor seating and you can smell the delicious BBQ before you even walk in. The food was delicious, the brisket melts in your mouth and the ribs were tender and the Bbq sauce has the perfect mix of spice and sweetness. I was so ready to like this place because of the raving reviews but unfortunately I was a little underwhelming! I ordered the bbq chicken salad which came highly recommended by the waitress. She said it was the best thing on the menu and super hearty. So figured I'd give it a try. The bbq chicken was probably the only thing I liked and even then it was just chicken drenched in bbq sauce. The ladies at the front were super helpful when it came to the process of ordering and the food came out in under 10 minutes. We drove by this place so many times over the years but stopped in for the first time recently given its convenient location on Montauk Hwy. This is decent BBQ and is quite reasonably priced even the area and the other types of restaurants which are a bit more prevalent in the neighborhood. We took out for lunch here, getting the BBQ platter which included an assortment of meats with Mac n' Cheese and Cole Slaw. The meats were all good and tender. I think the sides could use a bit more seasoning but they still complemented the meats well with some additional BBQ sauce. During the warmer months, the outdoor seating makes a nice setting for eating. I think this is a place which we will return to visit. read more

This BBQ spot is so fire! Everything tasted great, so glad we found it! When you first walk in, the smell of bbq welcomes you in (which is always a great sign!). First of all I get how busy they are for superbowl but we always order from here. We placed an order for 50 chicken wings and 24 cheeseburger sliders. My mom repeated to the person on the phone literally x3 because she could not get it right. Then I get to the establishment and they "never" wrote my cheeseburger sliders. Plus we wait so long while everyone else walks past us. Wait 25 minutes for my order I placed for 4:45pm. Then we come home and our wings are burnt....I always support small businesses but this is clearly for regulars and townies. This place's name is "smokin' wolf BBQ and more". You'd think their bbq should be their selling point. Nope. It's by far the worst bbq I've ever had. When you walk in, it looks like a normal sandwich shop where you order from the counter and they bring food to your table. There's no smoker in sight, nor was there anyone carving meat real time. That should've been the warning sign to us. Unfortunately we were too hungry and figured maybe someone was doing it in the back. We decided to order some ribs, brisket, and some sides. Ribs tasted like they reheated it in the oven. The outside was completely dry and I couldn't even chew on it - it tasted like some beef jerky gone very bad. The inside was also dry, not at horrendous as the outside but pretty inedible in my opinion. Now comes to brisket, very below average, not dry, but not juicy, and no seasoning. Oh and did I mention the corn bread, tasted like they made it three days ago. It's a shame a place can put BBQ in their name but couldn't do bbq right. Unfortunately there's practically no competition around and limited choices for food. I guess that's why they are still in business. read more

The baked beans was the only good product in this meal, NOTE to the management, if your menu has pulled meat product on it then that is what the customer is requesting when they say "please give me a pulled chicken dinner" which is what was ordered on the day I stopped in there, what was served to me is surprising, an overcooked boneless chicken breast that the cook took a cleaver to and then poured barbeque sauce on it and sent it out the kitchen, pulled meat is supposed to be Pulled, not hacked up with a cleaver. oh my I was craving some good BBQ, and We came to the right place. Started off with a large serving of delicious cornbread, yummy. My husband had the brisket sandwich and baked beans, he loved it, actually said it was perfect. I had the pulled pork sandwich with baked beans. Delicious, as a matter of fact one of the best pulled pork sandwich. The beans were perfectly season. We are on vacation so we also had the Mexican corn, it was fresh and tasty. After and extremely long ride from Brooklyn this place saved us. We stopped on our way to Montauk in a rainstorm and they were 20 min to closing. They could have turned us away but said they have everything. We ordered the brisket nachos and hush puppies to start, meanwhile were family size for a party of 6 we were only 3. Then we tried the pulled pork sandwich and Mac n cheese, lawd have mercy. My coworker ordered the crab cake sandwich and potato salad and said it was great!! Wow... this place has the best quesadillas ever! I ordered the vegetarian quesadilla and I added the mango salsa in it with guac on the side. I asked for my quesadilla to be extra toasty... the result was a delicious crispy and cheesy quesadilla with corn bits and mango and red peppers. Goey cheese and goat cheese too. It was honestly amazing. PLUS, the portion was HUGE! It was the size of a small pizza. I also ordered the corn on the cob; it was great too.:) Restaurant itself has a couple of tables inside and outside. Very clean and organized place. Plus they serve ice cream too. Found this place on our way home from Montauk. Lobster Roll was to packed and we were hungry! So I know it's covid times and I like that they take it serious with no inside dining, call to order and pick it up at the window. BUT that being said...we waited over 30 minutes for our meal- pork sandwich, veggie burger and a (tiny) slice of pie. Our whole time waiting only one family got their meal. The place was empty! Even when someone else who came to pick up their meal went to the window the nice lady said to us "it's coming we make it from scratch" (she knew it was taking to long) Long story short the food wasn't worth the wait at all. The made from scratch was wasted on us...it was nothing special. If we didn't wait so long it would of all been fine, but wouldn't go back unfortunately. read more

Great bbq meats and reasonable prices. The 3 of us went for the 2 meat combo + 1/2 rib order. The amount of food was just right since the combo order comes with 2 sides and 1 cornbread. The brisket was tender and ribs was the best part - charred and moist. Nothing crazy about the sausage but still makes a good addition. There are bbq sauces and condiments on the side which we used religiously. The cornbread is not good, I would skip it but it came with the meal. read more

The sit down area was comfortable and was fairly opened. In terms of price, the quality is worth the cost. The deli is family owned and they are really helpful and friendly!
