I came in with my service animal and this woman was an absolute wretch of a person and wouldn't allow us to be seated. She kept demanding an ID card, which I tried to educate her that service animals are not required to have an ID under the ADA and told her what she could ask and she still refused us seating. I've went ahead and attached some photos for her reference so maybe she can educate herself and not treat another person the same way she treated me. Terrible service.

    Avocado Toast and Eggs
    Angie Y.

Smaller diner esque "greek restaurant" that offers some classic diner staples such as pancakes and eggs. Came here on a Thursday and the place was really packed, service was friendly but super slow for coming to a place with a handful of tables at 1pm. Ordered the avocado toast with eggs and it was worse than the avocado toast I prepare at home for around $18 dollars. Toast is literally on whole wheat wonder bread, avocado was hacked and not completely ripe, eggs were wet which made the toast soggy. Underdressed side "salad" which was just arugula and tomatoes. Overall not worth the wait or the visit here despite the many reviews on google.

    Parthenon Omelette
    Gabriela D.

Our waiter was very sweet and the prices were reasonable enough for the Hamptons. The food was classic diner food. I like the Parthenon omelette but it wasn't anything special. The muffins were decent and the interior was clean but dated. We came at 9:15 on a Sunday and had no wait but it definitely picked up by 10.

Great soups! I love the down home coziness to this diner style cafe in an upscale town. My favorite soup is the Lentil.

No creamy lusciousness. No herby clammy umami. They sell clam juice. They should use it. I bought it, tasted it, added everything I could think of to make it taste like something but nada. Didn't mention It's watery? Zero clam taste? There are clams for sure, but I doubt they are fresh. Ps I hate potatoes in my soup. It's a cheap lazy way to add bulk, but red potatoes??? After tasting it, I was so mad that I thought to go back and nicely tell them to stop cutting corners as this will only lead to the closure of yet another failed biz, but instead I threw it out. I was trying to find a way to go there without having to drive so far just for food. I live an hour away from them, so the travel time is what makes going there a deal breaker consistently. It's worth going to East Hampton generally, but it should be a day thing. Not just to go eat. The person who helped us was very knowledgable and asked good questions in terms of what you'd like for your platter. The food was top quality. Our platters were worth every bit of that gift certificate and I'd love to come around this place again! I also had to buy their sauce on the way back home because we use it for some dinners. My only critiques is regarding the mac and cheese. I wish it was more of a homemade baked mac and cheese with the toasted top. But definitely good mac and cheese nonetheless. The mashed sweet potatoes were definitely too seasoned with all spice. It gave it too much of a kick than I was expecting. I liked the seating inside and outside. If we didn't have bad allergies, would've probably sat outside and enjoyed our meal. Also, this place has their own parking area. So that's definitely a plus!

I got ribs, brisket, BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. I also got an order of the little gem salad. The ribs were some of the best I've had in years. Very juicy, excellent smoky flavor. Tender, perfectly cooked. Brisket was okay when it was warm, but after cooling off a little bit, it got very dry. I'm not a big fan of brisket in general because of how dry and hard the texture can get, but this is okay while fresh. The BBQ sauce on the side helped, but I probably wouldn't get it again here. The BBQ chicken was the most disappointing - just shredded chicken smothered in a ton of sauce. It was very dry, like sticks of matches drowning in sauce. Mashed potatoes were very buttery and delicious, but also retained some chunkiness and skin too, which I really liked. Very flavorful and decadent. Mac and cheese was very good as well, but not the toasty top kind. Still very cheesy and good, like they used real cheese. Cornbread was a surprise hit - very moist and soft, denser than most cornbreads, and a lot sweeter than most cornbreads I've had at BBQ places. It tasted more like a dessert corn cake, which I didn't mind at all. The little gem salad tasted very fresh. Dressing was just okay, and the salmon we got on top was very stinky and did not taste fresh. The skin had a nice crunch to it though. I wish the fish had been fresher. The greens were great, so I might just get it with chicken next time, or something else if they would allow that. Overall, really great food! I would definitely go back here again. It's been a while since I've been to a BBQ place that has really good smokey char flavor without tasting burnt, while still retaining juiciness (in the ribs anyway). I'd highly recommend the ribs, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, salad, and cornbread. I want to try some other items as well. Very friendly service too.

We started with two unusual and inexpensive appetizers- the heavenly biscuits (2 per order) for $5 served warm with Hampton's organic honey. These biscuits were delicious and I could have eaten a basket full of them. With a cold beer they had just the right amount of savory and honey sweetness. The deviled eggs (3 per order) with special relish for $12 were a perfect starter. Not to heavy - melt in your mouth. Onto the entrees: my triple cut brioche roll fried lobster po boy sandwich $48 was toasted with butter, tomato and lettuce and crispy tender lightly fried lobster pieces. With a Nice sandwich remoulade. A bit expensive, but it was a large sandwich full of lobster meat. A little hard to eat because of the height of the sandwich. My wife tasted my sandwich and thought the lobster should remain cooked but not breaded and fried. To each their own. The Nashville style hot chicken sandwich came on the same three cut brioche bread with the shiny top, perfectly toasted ($36). Here again - delicious tender chicken and a large meaty sandwich. Beer and wine service was spot on with a leisurely time pace between appetizer and entree. No room for the two offered desserts- but the key lime pie looked scrumptious.
