Everything bagel with plain cream cheese

Rip off. $20 for a bagel cream cheese with scallion and salmon. They forgot to toast the bagel and barely a trace of cream cheese no scallion and one slice of salmon. Bagel was hard and needed a chainsaw to get into it. The texture was just awful. No soft chewiness just stale hard bagel Seriously?!? It was 10am. There was no line, no rush how can a bagel place be so bad?

Goldbergs is known for great food and has the crowds to prove it! Some days you can call ahead, but during busy times it's not allowed. The line moves fast, though, and the Spicy Hobo is worth it!

Fire bagels. I had a flat bagel with strawberry cream cheese but forgot to take a picture. I'd never had a flat bagel before so that was fun and the cream cheese was amazing and seemed so fresh (had real strawberries in it)

Just grab a blueberry donut and make it two. Toast one with butter or low fat cream cheese, and go with no heating on the other blueberry bagel with either option. Close eyes, mouthgasm, thank me later by dropping a vote on this review. Because this location is out of sight on the main road, it isn't as crowded as some of the other locales. Service is a bit dry, but luckily they're bagels are not. Solid coffee too.

I stopped by this place since for a quick lunch since I was in the area for a doctors appointment, and I was blown away! I could tell this was a local favorite by the amount of people that were here at 11 am on a Saturday. The line was out the door, but the wait wasn't too bad. When I went (10/2021), there was no indoor seating, but there were some tables outside, which was nice. I got the, I believe it's called the Hungry Man, on a roll, and it was amazing! It was a bacon egg and cheese with sausage and ham and it was so filling. You will definitely be full for a while after eating this! Coffee is also a must! This is definitely a go to deli; I would definitely come here often if I lived in the area.

Making my bagel at the counter bc they couldn't do it. Extra cc tossed after I used the "little bit" that I asked for.

This is the worst Goldberg location. Like other reviews have stated, the customer service just isn't it. They hear what they want to hear instead of what you said. On 3 different occasions I've asked for BEC with scrambled eggs... not once were the eggs scrambled. You could see the yolk had congealed.. why didn't they scramble the eggs like I asked? I stopped ordering that, ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese thinking that would be easier. It wasn't. The bagel was extra toasted to where it tasted burnt many times! Okay so now I won't order it toasted. A plain bagel with little cream cheese. Simple enough right? Wrong! They REFUSE to put little cream cheese. I can't make this up. I've asked them to scrape some off and then they roll their eyes at you! Unbelievable. How am I in the wrong by wanting my food made the way I ordered it / purchased it? Today I made the bagel myself by asking for a little cream cheese on the side because when I asked the woman to take off some cream cheese, she took almost all of it off. the cream cheese on the side is after I used some for my bagel. Look how much is left. It's just so wasteful honestly. The woman told me to order my cream cheese on the side. lol ok. But yeah I'm so done with this place. It is not worth the hassle.

I had the Hamptons Special and it was delicious! Lox and cream cheese was very generous.

Turkey, swiss and what was supposed to be caesar dressing but it's Russian.

Goldberg's has the monopoly on Bagels across the East End. 10 years ago I would have given it a 5 star rating. Not anymore. The bagels are delicious BUT the service is below sub-par. They have been in business long enough to have improved their efficiency but nope. It is always extremely busy, especially in the summer months. The staff are generally friendly but 90% of the time hear what they want to hear versus what you order. I frequent it because it is close to my office but I cannot remember the last time I received a correct order. Example: today I ordered everything bagel, scooped and toasted with Honey Turkey, melted swiss and Caesar dressing. When I bite into it, they had put Russian dressing on it. They don't even sound similar. It's mistakes like this that happen every time. They need a "bar rescue" type situation to come in and help them get organized, or dedicate staff members to each station and make the food assembly line style- oh wait, they can't because they have the toaster on the complete opposite end from the grill and the salad station across from the grill. It makes zero sense. Goldberg's we love you but please so better.

Food was really good! Line was crazy long and confusing. Overall, was worth the wait in the line for the yummy bagels and sandwiches.

I first of all want to say, it takes a whole lot for me to write a negative review... and it pains…read moreme to have to say this, but this business is not what it used to be. I have been coming here for well over 5 years now, and I hate to admit that the service has been going down hill for quite some time.. the treatment I received this season is not as attentive, and the workers don't care about your experience there like they use to. I noticed the food quality and produce is the same- which is great; but the quality of the customer service has decreased tremendously. No one greets you when you go up to the back counter to order your take out food. I had to wait for the staff to be done talking with one another and laughing around while the staff poured the staff food. I had to address placing an order for myself - knowing I had been standing there for over 3 minutes with no one in-front of me on line, just waiting for the workers to finish their fun. It's fine to have a friendly work environment- but hi, hello- you are at work- and these are your customers. Loyal customers at that. 5 years coming here and I'm sad to say I won't be returning. I had asked for an iced coffee- which I order every morning I go there. And I asked for an iced latte for my partner. I remember there has been the same young girl making my latte.. and I get that you have to have milk in it/ but don't make the entire latte basically milk. And so this is over the third time ( 3RD TIME) we have gotten coffee from them and he hated his coffee, and complains about how milky it is. Me feeling horrible, I tell him to take it back to get and get an iced coffee instead of the latte- and so she tells him " you have to pay for it anyway since he ordered it" I looked at her and was so confused as to why she would tell us that we need to pay for something we asked for them to take back. Knowing the taste was too milky and not how a good latte should taste. It's the simple fact that the manager Deanna, she's been working there for years- she knows my face and I know her. This SAME exact situation happened last year where I came to her at the front register to ask her to make my latte over since it was incredibly milky. And she helped me just fine last year, I gave her back the entire latte - it's not like I drank more than two sips before handing it back to her. It's the simple fact that she tried to charge me for an item I returned back to them fully. And the fact that this has happened multiple times and I reminded her of it, and she still was saying that since I ordered it and they made it I have to pay for it... that is not how customer service works. I have worked in various fields of customer service my entire life & I am still dumbfounded by Deanna and this other young girl's words. All 3 of us were disappointed in something we had ordered. My other friend ordered a sandwich and a smoothie and he said his smoothie was not good, and way too watery. I've spent hundreds of dollars here over the years, easily- so for you to look at me and treat me with such disrespect is insulting and rude. I expected much more from a local family business that's been in my routine for years on end. All I asked for was an iced coffee instead of a latte and for the situation to be handled as it was is quite disappointing in terms of how this business is looking. I would consider the owner recommend a supervisor for matters like this because clearly there is a disconnect.

Bugs in flour- they refused to refund…read more My husband bought a 5 lb bag of flour, brought it home and realized something was wrong when the flour wouldn't knead right. I checked and it was only 10 days out from expiring and had weevils ( bugs that eat flour and like products) inside. I immediately brought the flour back to damarks to exchange it- they refused because I 'didn't have a picture'. Even though the flour itself was right there with the weevils inside for them to inspect. Really sad about the experience since I've been going to damarks since it was the old building and I was a little kid riding my bike over
