Loved, loved, loved this place. We were told by the person who recommended LSA to try the brisket queso. It did not disappoint. Hubby had the Stevie, he loves every juicy bite. I had the los lonely, made GF by serving on a bed of lettuce. We had the hand cut regular fries....so delicious and crispy!! The Garlic Parm Herb Fries W/ House Dipping Sauce were so yummy. Our waiter was so attentive even though they were super busy. Joe, I think he was the manager chatted with us several times. His love for both the restaurant and the town was infectious. Be sure to check out the eclectic art. Especially the wall mural of Jesus. If you are into details check this place out. It will not disappoint. If you enjoy the rooftop dining tip your waitstaff generously. The kitchen is on the ground floor and they run up 3 flights of stairs to be sure the food you are getting is piping hot! This place is just phenomenal! I've been hearing about it for years but finally got around to making the trip up to Denton. It was so worth it. We arrived and it was absolutely packed and everyone was waiting for a table. They have a text system to notify you. If you go upstairs there is a bar where you can wait, and we ended up snagging a high top table and didn't have to wait! However our regular table would've only taken 10 min longer. They had great live music and games outside for kids. The cocktails were good and visually appealing but a little on the sweet side. especially the red white and blue frozen drink. For starters we had queso and in my opinion that was the highlight! The green chilies and brisket just make it have such a unique flavor with a sweet hint. This place reminds me of Rodeo Goat. I'm just not sure who was first. Too many burgers to chose from but I decided on Ready Freddy which has a BBQ flavor to it with bacon and onion. It was good and worth every calories of it. The fries, I was disappointed with the fries. While heading here I kept reading reviews and looking at the pics of garlic, park fries. It wasn't any much different from the regular one except for the look of it. Yo can see parms and herbs lightly coating the fries. Service was good and very attentive. So finally I return to the place that inspired my first Yelp review and started my food blogging journey lol. I am now a vegetarian and I went to try the veggie burger and Parmesan garlic fries. Best veggie burger in town! I am so shocked lol. It has so much flavor and juiciness and I can't even even believe it's not meat. Awesome job. Parmesan fries are still as great as it was before. They have such a great night scene design about this restaurant. They have rooftop dining that's great to take advantage of on summer nights and they do such a great job at showing different levels even on the inside of the restaurant you can eat on the second floor and have a view of the whole restaurant without having to go outside. My husband & I drove over to Denton to check out some of the stores on the square. The highlight of our trip, however, ended up being our lunch. We saw the rooftop patio and thought we would give it a try. We were seated up front with a great view of the square! The burgers were nice, thick and juicy and the garlic, herb, parmesan french fries were absolutely delicious!! We had great service. Several different waitresses checked on us every once in a while to make sure our glasses were never empty. Conclusion... Great food, Great View and Great atmosphere! I ordered the Ready Freddie burger and brisket queso fries. Both were delicious! The burger isn't huge but it's not small either. A little greasy but in a good way! Plenty of toppings on mine. I couldn't decide between brisket queso and fries, so the brisket queso fries were a perfect appetizer/side compromise. I liked how they were served as well--I did takeout and they packaged the brisket queso in a cup with a lid and the fries in a separate container so that the fries were not sitting in the queso and getting soggy. I did order online, which was an easy and clear process. If you are also doing that, I would suggest arriving a little earlier than your scheduled pick up time--I got there promptly but it was pretty clear that my order had been sitting out for a few minutes. Not in a bad way, it was still warm, but if you arrive a little earlier you would probably be able to pick it up while it was still hot hot. Would recommend this spot and I will definitely come back! Ended up getting food poisoning that incapacitated me for three days and led to an infection in my colon. 1 Urgent care visit, 1 Emergency room visit and a week worth of antibiotics later, I'm finally recovering. Anyways, didn't go inside at all but the outdoor deck had a nice ambiance with a stage for events and some murals painted on the walls. A big connect four to play with some friends. The margarita flights taste good and look great. Definitely worth the $14 for 6 if you like drinks. The simply spiked ice tea lemonade was pretty good as well. I have grown to love LSA Burger quite a bit over my visits. The Bohemian is delicious, and adding green chilies and guacamole makes it extra delicious. The burger is definitely made in house and not a frozen patty! It's gigantic and I usually share it. Fries are not included, and a small is also large enough to share with another person (and you'll need them if you're splitting a burger.) Big portions! The rooftop dining area and bar are amazing on a nice night. They have some pretty powerful heaters outside if you visit when it's cold out. It overlooks Denton's Square, and is extra pretty at night with the lights on the trees. Inside dining is also nice. Staff is usually nice and friendly. They have lots of drinks to choose from many different types of burgers, several appetizers and desserts. There is something for everyone here. Always a good experience! read more
