Decided for a little road trip and wanted to check this place out after being recommended and reading the reviews. Did NOT disappoint. Love that they feature local breweries on tap #buylocal The food did not disappoint what so ever. I had the brisket burger and my wife had the crab cake burger and we split the garlic parm fries (huge portion even on the small) Burger came put perfectly cooked and a big addition of brisket on top! The crab cake was HUGE & had a great flavor! First time here but definitely not the last. read more

GET THE BRISKET QUESO!!! it's the best item on the entire menu, that's all babes!!!!!

Such a Great atmosphere! The brisket queso is to die for! Burgers are really good too!

Been here a dozen or so times, never had a bad experience. Even with the packed crowd that is usually there the staff stays on task and doesn't miss a beat. read more

I really enjoyed my food, the server was great, and the price was good. I can definitely recommend!

Ok, so I was going to give a four star rating to this restaurant. The food is great, the macaroni and cheese is really good, one of the best Mac and cheeses I've had. The burgers are yummy and the atmosphere is fun and hip. What pushed this rating to five stars is the amazing staff that works here. We had a very attentive waiter that had great recommendations from the menu. Between the waiter, the hostess, the busboy, and some of the other staff here you can tell they take customer service very seriously. Overall I had a great experience here and I would totally come back. read more

Great burgers, and out of this world garlic Parmesan fries. The rooftop location really makes this a unique venue around the historical old town square in Denton. read more

Tried LSA today and we had been told to get the brisket queso. Of course we did and it was the best we'd had...by far! It was tender brisket with a smooth not over powering queso that had a swirl of delicious bbq sauce. Their chips did not disappoint either, they were fresh and a light crispy...perfection! After filling up on queso we moved on to our meals. We ordered the Georgie Boy with Parmesan Garlic fries and the chicken tenders with black beans & rice. The bacon and signature sauce on the burger were on point. The tenders were coated in a thin crispy batter with their bbq sauce. The sauce was a thin Smokey sweet sauce and so delicious. We'll be back again especially for the brisket queso and anything served with that bbq sauce! read more

Best burgers in Denton for sure! Plus the drinks are great too! Anytime I'm in Denton I always have to make a stop at LSA! The Stevie and Los Lonely are my favs and don't forget the chili cheese fries and either the Waterloo Blues drink or Nunn's day on Padre! read more

The first time I went to Lsa was on a date with this girl we found a good spot at the bar because we could tell they were short staffed and we are about productivity over comfortabilty. The burgers are always good and the queso is to die for. Just wish they would make it endless queso when you buy drinks and also give salsa with the queso for our lactose intolerant brotheren. read more

My wife and I ate there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The decor of the restaurant is very cool. We had excellent service and the burgers were spot on. Their french fries are very good too. Our server had to leave the restaurant to go to one of the others but he told us that we would be well taken care of. We were! The service didn't miss a spot. WE will be back! read more

High Quality Food, trendy Roof Top bar. The coolest place to have a nice drink and meal in Denton, Tx.

The queso is the best thing on their menu, besides the burger choices. Not disappointed by my choices each one of my visits. Loved the roof top, live music, great crowd and atmosphere. My to go place here in the square for burgers and queso. read more

Such a good place. We were in town and stopped here and had the best service ! Food was good drinks were good. Beautiful view of the downtown area from the outdoor seating upstairs. Our server Redete was so kind and genuine. Make sure to sit with her she made the experience even better ! read more

Once you eat their fries all of the fries in the world will be ruined for you. They are perfectly cooked and seasoned, and utterly perfect! This is the reason why potatoes are grown! We ordered their vegetarian burger called the Bohemian. It was huge and one of the best veggie burgers that I've ever had. It had many flavors and you could tell that it was made from quality ingredients. The bun for the burger is light and airy and a wonderful hamburger bun. You have to order fries on the side, but if you do not order them this will be one of the biggest mistakes of your life. Don't make this mistake! You can get regular fries or Parmesan covered fries. Both are delicious and there are definitely enough fries to share. Outside of the food my favorite thing about here is the seating on the roof. As long as it's not too hot, there is usually a wonderful breeze coming and you can see all of the beautiful Denton Square and surrounding area. I love eating up there. The servers are all very knowledgeable. They always know everything about the food and everything about all the different beers and drinks that they serve. They're very nice also. This is a great restaurant on the Denton Square. One of my favorites to go to, especially if I want a good burger. Definitely get out there and check it out. read more

Great burgers with an interesting environment. It can be very busy but worth the wait.

Great food. Even better ambiance. Great spot to see the square. Perfect view of the Denton courthouse.

LSA is awesome! I think this place has brought a totally new energy to the square and offers a new kind of dining experience (the upstairs open-air patio) to Denton. My favorite menu items here are the Turkey Bob, chicken tenders, the garlic parm fries, and the veggie power plate (try it!). Ironically I'm not that big on beef so I don't get the burgers. Out of what I've tasted from friends' food and from what I've heard, the Waylon sounds pretty good to me (can't go wrong with a good ol' plain burger). Service is good for an always-busy restaurant. Unfortunately for LSA, it is the kind of restaurant that will collect some negative criticism just because of how busy it is and the fact that they will make mistakes from time to time. Keep this in mind but don't let it detract from your experience there -- they are helpful, the food is good, and you can't beat the atmosphere. Definitely one of Denton's best (relatively) new restaurants! read more

Service was pretty good but the food is unbeatable, the brisket queso is a must try, and all the Georgia boy burger was solid. The Parmesan fries were okay but the sauce that came with it made them better. I recommend stopping in for a dinner. read more

In town in a busy Saturday (UNT Homecoming)) made our way to LSA (Lone Star Attitude) for a lunch. We were told that it would be a 20 min wait so we committed, gave our # so we could be texted and commenced to wait 45 min. I checked in with the host 1x was told were 2nd in line and then watched about 6-7 parties walk upstairs to the rooftop seats. I checked in again after seeing that and was told my table was ready and they were sorry I was t getting texts. (Maybe due to my out of town cell #) We waited again at the top of the stairs for a few minutes, were finally seated at a community table and then had to wave down a server who wasn't ours but took our drink and app order. Our guy finally showed up and took our burger order. The brisket queso and guacamole chips and salsa were very good! Crispy chips were awesome and did their job in delivering the tasty goodness to our hungry mouths I had to manage our drink refills and request for any help at the table. Rating would be easy 5 stars if not for mismanaged wait and table service. Worth your $$ but be prepared to manage your visit read more

These reviews are cray! Show me someone who isn't impressed by a burger from LSA and I will show you a crazy person. These burgers are the real deal and I love all the options LSA's menu has to offer!! The live music on the patio is so fun on a date night and the service is always incredible. Russell is hands-down the most amazing server I've ever had. My beau played here on two different occasions and each time, Russell took amazing care of us. I *think* he might be a mind-reader. I can't say enough about sweet, amazing, mind-reading Russell. Someone give that boy a raise. While I'll always be a Dallas girl, LSA gives me one more reason to love Denton. I'm already thinking about the next opportunity I'll have to tear into some of that coleslaw.Yum!! read more

LSA Burger - Live music on the rooftop patio. Karyna & The Guys rocked! - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Denton, Texas

Newer to the Denton area, so there's plenty of different places to check out on the square. I love that you can sit on the main level or go rooftop and have an awesome view of the courthouse w/live bands every so often both at LSA and on the square while enjoying the weather and a cold one. The brisket queso was fire, all staff was friendly, prices were fair, and the menu was easy to read + full of variety. Food didn't take an unreasonably long time for lunch on a Sunday afternoon rush either. I'm definitely going back here! read more

This place ROCKS!!! It really was time for a new venue on the Historic Courthouse Square in Denton. While others have tried, LSA Burger Co. will put Downtown Denton on the map as the place to be for Burgers, Music, and great libations! After having a chance to preview this exciting new eclectic emporium of food and fun, I noticed a few things. First, the folks that planned this place sure hit the nail on the head! Second, they really researched the local demographic to find what fit. Third, they really took their time and did an excellent job in the year that it took to re-open at the location of a Denton institution that had stood over 30 years. Fourth, it was worth the wait, this place is a KNOCKOUT!!! Had the cheeseburger with Green Chilies, and a side of slaw. It was perfectly cooked served on a fresh baked bun that reminded me of something you would see in a bakery on South Elm Street. The slaw was delicious with macerated flavors of onion, garlic and just the right amount of sweet and tang in a lightly dressed version of a great Texas staple. For dessert the bartender whipped me up a cocktail that included several liqueurs making it look like an upside down ice cream sundae. Very tasty young lady, keep up the incredible personable attitude. Had the chance to experience Jon Christopher Davis and the house band Lone Star Attitude at their finest for what was an incredible show befitting the namesake restaurant. I will be a volunteer ambassador of this place as long as I can comeback and enjoy my wonderful view of downtown from their rooftop patio! read more

It's on the square and from the outside it may not look like anything special. Oh but it is! The garlic Parmesan fries, the mini margaritas (Prickly Pear was my fav). Pretty good food! My waiter was amazing and the food all came out right. Only giving four stars because I feel like it was a bit overpriced for what it was and the garlic fries weren't as garlic-y as I was expecting. read more

My wife and I were told this was the place to go to on the square. Parking close is hard to find at night or on the weekends. I usually park in a free parking lot a block down on Oak Street across from Oak Street Draft House. When you arrive at LSA, you will see the downstairs. The downstairs seems more like the family area (I stay up stairs). When you go up the stairs you find another bar and tables. This is where the live music is located. It's an unbelievable view of Denton square. When it's warm enough they open all the windows. Tip, go at sunset. It's a really cool tradition. Every day at sunset the upstairs bar hands out shots of beer to toast the beautiful sunset. The upstairs bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and talented mixologist. Best Bloody Mary ever!! They have about 8 beers on tab including some craft beers. We've been here several times, tried several different burgers and menu items. The place is really clean, including the bathrooms. The food doesn't disappoint. The burgers have so many different options, from brisket to blue cheese to their specialty the "copperhead lode" which is the right amount of spicy and tasty! Even their crab cake "burger", the Janis is very good. The garlic fries with their "crack" sauce is always a must. Burgers are great too, I've yet to try something I didn't like! The prices are pretty reasonable. Burgers avg. around $8, mixed drinks around $6 and draft beers $3.50. The staff is always helpful and the food comes out fast. It's located on Denton Square and one of the best places/ Best Bartenders around! I will definitely be back, many times! Check it out when you are in Denton. read more

Worth the wait. Upstairs is especially nice with live music and a breeze! Usually busy because it is so good!

Burgers tasted like a frozen, over cooked meat patty. I had to ask the waiter if the burgers were frozen or freshly made. From what he said they are fresh made patties but they did not taste that way. This place is a burger joint so they need to step-up their burger game because what we got for burgers were terrible. The cust-serv was better because they comp'd our burgers because we let them know they tasted like crap. recommend they look into adding some seasoning and don't over cook the patties. They do have a good view of the square on the upper deck. For now it's 2 stars but we will give it one more try in the near future just to see if things change with the burgers. read more

LSA Burger - Failure! For a place that Burgers are the main food item, this place failed. Burgers tasted like frozen patties, way over cooked - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Denton, Texas

I do like this place! The consistency in both the food and service is hit or miss and that's why I ranked it only 3 stars. We've been here quite a few times since it opened. The wait staff, for the most part, are really friendly and helpful. The bartenders are pretty amazing and can whip up anything you're craving. The veggie burger is a homemade quinoa patty filled with other yummy things. The crab cake sandwich or salad also housemade but be sure to get a little lemon for it and ask for the house dressing to slather on the cake itself. We've tried the queso, Texas beef chili, tortilla soup, most of the burgers, chicken tenders, hummus and parmesan garlic fries with house dipping sauce. The fries are a must, with so much garlic everyone in your party will want to try it in self-defense. But, I love garlic so that's fine with me. You'll also want your own cup of house dipping sauce because you can put it on just about everything. The crabcake salad is one of my favorites as well. Now for what I'm sure will improve once they get the kinks worked out.. If you ask for the burger medium rare, it may not come out that way. They "can" accommodate large parties but if you call ahead the person answering the phone might say they "won't" take reservations- even "if" you've already talked to a manager who's told you to call ahead one hour so they can try to pull tables together. For our party of 15, we had two servers, 1/2 of the table got their food & finished it by the time the other 1/2 got their food. The last time I ordered the brisket burger & the hubby got the tortilla soup, it was cold. I'm okay with eating cold brisket though and when the soup got heated it really was tasty. Since it is new, I expect there will be improvements in both quality and service and look forward to it. Because when LSA gets it right, that is what keeps me coming back for more. Besides, the fries will give you comfort and the scene is pretty fun. read more

I ate at LSA yesterday and it was terrible. The service was great but I had a burger and fries and they were both terrible! The burger was dry, no juice at all. The fries were crispy and overcooked. What a disappointment after hearing so many good reviews. I will never go back. read more

I had the privilege to go to a soft opening (thanks for letting me crash the party, LSA ). I thought it all was fantastic - even for their first run at it. I have no complaints (except for the gluten-free bun which was a disappointment - and the real buns look ridiculously yummy - looks like I missed out). I was able to try these tasty things: -The Brisket Queso: a white queso with a smoky, spicy mix of jalepeños and brisket. -The Attitude Burger (their signature burger): A burger (cooked medium-well, their only choice) with smoked brisket and Mama's Chow Chow (a spicy. pickled relish). -French Fries: sold as a separate side - these were perfect -Garlic Parm Herb Fries: A must try -Southern Style Coleslaw - THIS is the best coleslaw in town I can't wait to try the other burgers. There are many to choose from. I will try each one and give my report. Might take awhile... read more

A bit of a haul from Grand Prairie for a burger that was less than mediocre..... First time here and we were less than impressed. We started with the chips & queso and other than the tea, that was about the highlight. I ordered the Georgie Boy and the only thing I liked about it was the house mayo. The patty was over cooked to a dry state and that's all I can say about that. The "garlic-Parmesan" fries were a joke. No flavor what so ever. I sent them back and got another order with the same tasteless style of fry. Overall, we will not be coming back and that's a very sad statement. I'm always looking for awesome burger places here in North Texas. read more
