First timer here at lsa, it's a sweet rooftop bar with some great food and beers! Sean was my server/ bartender. Great hospitality from him despite how busy the evening was. He was very attentive made some great recommendations and made it a great experience for myself overall. Thanks Sean I appreciate the excellent hospitality you provided. Next time I'm in town I'll be back to this spot! read more

LSA Burger - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Denton, Texas

LSA is a wonderful place because of their wonderful people. We eat there several times a week. They have fantastic food, it's sparkling clean and an all out great experience. Michelle, the GM, has done and incredible job with food quality and personnel training. Not only are the burgers great, their salads and salmon are consistently on-point. If you haven't stopped by in a while, you might want to give them a try. I think you'll be impressed with Michelle and her entire team. read more

LSA Burger - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Denton, Texas

The food was amazing, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere is what you would expect, all TEXAS baby!!!

Great food and drinks. Only down side is that it takes the kitchen a long time to get your food out. The view is amazing and the staff is wonderful. I recommend for a time on the Denton square. read more

Great food. I tried the margarita (full size) and veggie power plate, which was awesome! Portions are very generous.

LSA is always a great time. The food is great, and usually the service is really great. The bartender that took care of us our last time was rude and paid attention to every one else except for us. Not sure if he was judging me and didn't think I had money lol his lost because I always tip extremely well. 0/10 service that time but I'm leaving 5 stars for all the previous times. read more

We went here for the first time with friends. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service was superb! The food choices are wide and varied. The do have a vegan patty for those who partake in that realm. Spicy to traditional it's all covered. Great place for burgers and fries. read more

This is the reason we came to Denton. We've been wanting to get out there forever, but never found the time. We made sure to get out there when the weather was wonderful, and it was definitely worth the drive. If you visit Denton, this is a stop you have to make. The whole getting a table thing is a little strange. They put our name on the list, them said they'd contact us when a table was ready up on the rooftop patio. They said we could walk around downtown or go upstairs and stand. We decided to go upstairs. The bar area is open seating, so we took our name off the list and just sat there. Hard to tell that is how it is upstairs if you've never been there, so glad we went upstairs. That's the reason I say it's strange because they don't tell you about the bar seating. We ordered the brisket queso which I saw was reviewed a lot on Yelp. The reviews are right. The queso is absolutely delicious and worth ordering. The chips are greasy, but the queso makes up for it. Also, they do have wine here... It's just not listed on their menu. Sadly, we didn't order any burgers which is the main reason to come here. We had been all over the square that day, and we just weren't that hungry when we checked out LSA. This just means we will have to come back out to Denton again. Bonus points for the live music, by the way. When they don't have live music, they play music from Texas artists. I probably heard 10 different Kelly Clarkson songs that night... So maybe mix it up a but more, but overall... Good music vibe. The live music that happened later in our night was also dope. Will have to get out and listen to more. I know a few of my favorites go out there to play, so will be back soon. read more

Good and drinks are ok. Expensive for what it is. Service is great. Love the atmosphere.

this place is awesome! the murals and restaurant design is really cool. the burgers are pretty good for being labeled as "the best burger place in denton." our waiter was very nice and chill. went on a hotter day and they kept fans on and running. read more

Total improvement to the Denton landscape! When I lived in Denton food options were nonexistent! Just fast food and no one wants to eat that all the time! LSA gives you a lot of yummy options. I had the Chili Willie with bacon. It doesn't come with bacon but it should! I told the server they need to push it with bacon! Anyhoo, it's a juicy patty with chili, carmalized onions, cheese, etc. It was so big I'm glad I didn't get the fries but that will be the next trip! It's a pretty busy place so get there early if you are starving because you will wait at least 15 mins. The reason is people need a few minutes to let these huge burgers to digest before you can waddle out! LSA Burger Co.- Best thing happened to Denton in years! read more

Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for what I had ordered, or maybe it was over-hyped before I got there - but I just didn't get into LSA like I thought I would. Service was great, and granted I was trying to take a video call at the time (note: don't do that here, it's terribly loud for something like that - but it was a necessity in my case) so they were doing the best they could with me being difficult. I'll definitely give them that. I ordered the Brisket Queso as an appetizer as well as the Spirit of a Hero, which might have been my ultimate demise here. That's a LOT of heavy food. Maybe with a better pairing I would've like this place a little more. The queso was good, but I think I expected a little more brisket - there was just enough in there to qualify, but it's mostly cheese. The Spirit of a Hero is a MONSTER. I'm a big guy, but there's no way I was packing that whole thing away in one sitting. I still don't know how I managed to eat the thing, it's packed so high. One bite at a time I suppose, but you never quite get all of the flavors at once. I think I'd like to try this place again, maybe with some different menu choices. But for this trip I wasn't left with quite the overwhelming feeling that the locals had. read more

I wanted to like this place. I really did. This is a Denton staple that I'd never tried while living in Denton. Today was the day I was finally going to try LSA after friends had nagged me about it. Well turns out I was disappointed. The servers here are super upbeat and friendly but a lot of it comes off fake and disingenuous. The decor is cool though and interesting because it's all Texan rock n' roll. To start we tried the brisket queso which was a hit. No complaints here. My burger however, is a different story. I got the Ready Freddie or something like that and it just wasn't good at all. The bun was very airy and wonderbread like. The meat itself was average at best. The toppings which included onions, cheese, pickles and barbecue sauce (I 86'd the bacon) were terribly average. I got a small side of fries for 2.75. The portion is terribly huge and we were splitting amongst two people and still didn't manage to put a dent in them. The sauce that came with them was great and the fries were done just right! The worst part came when we got the check. The waitress gave us the wrong card back and charged us for somebody else's meal. I get it, mistakes happen but then she voided it and charged us AGAIN for the wrong order. She then had to make a second void before finally charging us correctly. She assured us that no extra money should be taken out of our account and the charge should be wiped out completely by the end of the night. Well I guess we'll wait and see if that happens. read more

Really a great burger place... Nice cool, casual environment, but the surroundings make you want to stay a while... Only suggestion is to add Margaritas by the pitcher- Sangria was great and burgers were awesome!!! Really Cool Texas theme, but not as "cheesy" as some other TX based places. read more

This place was recommended to me by my daughter. We ate upstairs on the patio with a view of the square. I had the Chili Willie which took me back to college days at Gardski's Loft by Texas Tech. It was amazing! My husband had the Waylon which was a regular cheeseburger. The fries were hand cut and the onion ring (supersize) was good. Staff was super attentive. read more

Good prices. Tried the flight of margaritas- it was good, but I wish they had labeled the margaritas so I knew which was which. Also tried the Nunn's day on padre which was delicious. Tried the cowboy from hell burger which was spicy and great. The chicken fingers were okay- little flavor but the meat was very fresh. The sides were a little disappointing- the garlic parm fries came out cold, the Mac and cheese was a bit flavorless, and the rice and beans pretty equivalent to opening a can of rice and beans. read more

The food was really great, and our waiter River was amazing. He was super helpful in getting me a cocktail since I can't drink or eat citrus. The pomegranate purée and whatever else went into it was amazing and I loved it. I *love* the garlic herb fries. If you want full service, with a server, that's currently upstairs. Downstairs is reserved for ordering at the bar and they bring the food to you at the table. read more

I ordered take out today for my family and the food was mid. First the fries that were in my order were not fresh, and looked like they may have been on someone else's plate because some of them had some type of creamy sauce on them, which was not the house sauce. I ordered half garlic Parmesan half regular. My Bohemian burger tasted like the char from the grill, very bitter. I used to like this place but the quality has gone down. read more

I'll start by saying we are fans of the owners' other restaurants- is there such thing as a restaurant groupie? The level of service they provide is unbeatable, and LSA is no different. It is obvious they train their employees that excellent service is key- from the time you're greeted you when you walk out the door, you feel like your business is valued. And the vibe is mellow- I love a place where you can bring a baby and your always-complaining Great Aunt Bessie to and everyone will have a fantastic time. The drinks- large selection and worth the price. Every time I go I find something new I love. I had one I didn't care for and only mentioned it when my waiter asked how I liked it. After I said it was just okay and not my thing, he took it back and said he would have the bartender make something he thought I'd like or the drink would be on him. And it was fantastic. The food- yum. I'm bad about finding one thing I like and sticking to it, but here my goal is to try EVERYTHING at least once. The burgers are creative and just dang good. The fries- huge portion and the perfect crispness. We usually leave with at least two to-go boxes because we order too much! My husband is not a fan of spending a ton of money on food, but when it comes to LSA there are times I think he'd be willing to remortgage the house to pay for it if he had to. read more

In the years I've been in Denton LSA has always been consistent. The food is good, the staff are friendly, and the vibe is relaxed.

I have been coming here for years, but something has changed with the quality of their hamburgers. The hamburger patties are frozen and thin. You really have to order a double to have any meat of substance. They can't get you a true medium-rare burger because the patties are so thin. It is really disappointing as this use to be one of my favorite places on the square. They still have a great atmosphere inside and outside on the rooftop, and the brisket queso is still good, but in my opinion, if you are going to be a burger joint then your burgers need to rock, but alas, they don't at LSA Burger. read more

This would be a favorite spot of ours if it wasn't always so crowded. Try going during the day during the week. It is much easier to get a table. This is a Texas musician themed restaurant where all the music and decor is only Texas born or Texas dwelling musicians. My family and my kids love this place. It's mainly burgers and fries but is not overly priced and you can shop at the shops next door while you wait for your table. The burgers are tasty and the menu has a a creative Texas musician feel. Their garlic Parmesan fries are yummy and enough to share with 4 people. The brisket Queso is awesome. The mixed drinks are large and yummy. They have a rooftop outdoor bar and open seating area where you can try your luck if the main restaurant is full. They sometimes have live music on the roof. The ice cream soda fountain is next door. Great for dessert. A must visit for visitors or people new to Denton or Texas :) read more
