This place is the quintessential neighborhood bar. People all seem to know each other after a few drinks. The bartender always has a heavy hand when pouring so we all became BFFs quickly! The kitchen was closed when I went, but rumor has it that the fish sandwich is the way to go!

Definitely a Neighborhood bar. Located in a neighborhood of smaller blue collar homes you have to know this place exists or you will pass right by without seeing it . Parking can be a little tricky. This a no frills down home comfortable bar. I was headed to the Party Source to get some Bourbon and used Yelp to find a good burger, Loyal Café popped up and I'm glad I stopped. One thing not noted in other reviews is that this is a smoking bar, if I had known that I probably would not have stopped. Lucky for me that I did stop. The people in the bar were friendly and the menu selections were varied and very reasonable. I ordered the Loyal Burger, onion rings and Hot Wings. The loyal burger was HUGE and very tastey, dripping juice like a good burger should. The wings were large and very good 6 wings for 4.95!! Everyone said I had to come back and try the fish.... I'LL BE BAAAACK!! Shout out to Linda a Great Cook!!

One of the best of a dying breed. Friendly old school corner bar. The bartenders always remember your name with a smile. Go!

For my wife it's sll about the Goetta Van Fleet (macaroni and cheese with goetta and Grippos bbq chips) and the milkshakes (also 2 of my favorites). I don't know what's the best part of the mac and cheese is, but the 3 things work fantasticly together! The mac snd cheese is creamy and delicious, and the goetta and chips just set it off. The milkshakes have that old fashion flair to them, so thick, so creamy. If you drink your shake first, you may be too full to eat, but its such a good thing. I have had all of the burgers they offer, and you can't go wrong with any of them. Depending on how hungry you are you can get them as a single and you can also add a patty. My two favorites are the Nom Petty and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I'm a sucker for for a good mushroom and swiss burger, that's the Nom Petty. A lot of fresh grilled mushrooms, gooey melted swiss and a hot juicy patty. All fantastic goodness. I think, at least this week, my over all favorite is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I get this burger with a double patty. This burger has a spicy ketchup, mayo, pepper jack chese, bacon and jalapeño poppers. Just an explosion oof flavor. It's just the right amount of of heat for me, and it's just fantastic. The service is that good old fashioned family restaurant type of service. Everyone is so friendly, always smiling, and I never have to wait for a thing. I just tried the wings this week, homerun. Big, meaty, hot, bone in wings with homemade ranch and or blue cheese on the side. A can't miss. There is something for everyone. We love this place, I encourage everyone to to give it a try!

We chose to sit at the bar, but there are plenty of tables if you choose otherwise. Greeted by the bartender who welcomed us and helped us through the menu with suggestions and what her favorites were Good beer/wine/alcohol selection. I had the pearl jam burger... Wow it was good!! My wife had a chicken wrap, which was also very good and large. We tried the wings as an appetizer and those were hot and crispy. Spoke with the owner/manager and got some history on the place. Super friendly and offered different suggestions for next time. Prices were fair and what we expected. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely go again when in the area.

The food is outstanding across the board--from the steaks to the cheese sticks--but the real star is their bread pudding. It's absolutely worth the trip from anywhere in the tri-state area. Parking is also easy and convenient, with a garage right across the street, as well as their own lot and additional street parking. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great meal and an even better experience.

They have a charming patio at the back of the interior space as well. I didn't realize they have their own lot, but in case it's full, there is plenty of street parking nearby. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and kept drink refills flowing. We ordered the pretzel and beer cheese and the poutine for starters. The pretzel was huge and tasty. I didn't care for the beer cheese, probably because I was expecting a more solid cheese product. I would describe this more as a cream sauce. It didn't seem to have much cheese in it and was very 'liquidy'. Also the ramekin was only half full. If it had tasted better, I would have asked for more, but as it was not, we didn't even finish what was given. I thought it was a bit pricey at $12.95 for one large pretzel. On the other hand, the poutine was fantastic! A very unique take on the dish with a mix of cheese curds (although they reminded me more of pieces of mozzarella sticks), french fries and Andouille cream gravy. I ordered the fish tacos which consisted of Blackened Salmon, Thai Chili Sauce, Black Bean Corn Salsa, Pico de Gallo. My order came with two and they were fantastic! Since Blinkers is known for steaks, I will have to give them another try at dinner time.

I do realize it is a chain but so far they have nailed all the prerequisites of what they need to be a successful chain in my opinion. Definitely recommended to get reservations the day before as I don't believe they take reservations the day of. Ambiance is friendly and warm and service has always been really good! The food is the big highlight though. The food here is just plain amazing. The main course of chicken to all of the side dishes they have. The spoon bread to the sweet potatoes to the mac and cheese, it's all good. It is definitely one of the big reasons we go there. Looking forward to coming back again soon! Bring a big appetite.

I ordered immediately as I was late at 9 PM for dinner. I got the three piece dark with sides of Mac and cheese which came with biscuit, and green beans. Everything tasty enough, and the fried chicken was juicy and honestly fine without the honey. The spicy honey which was in a glass ramekin, was pretty good. As oft said, "I put that sh*t on everything -- so I tried it with the Mac and cheese and it was noticeably better. All in all, pretty good experience here and will rate it 3.5/5 overall.
