Guessing I should NOT have contracted ANY SERVICES with this Lowe's location... bought flooring and install services...they did make the assertion that if they find some out of level foundation floor, we have to level those areas and that's on us. WE PAID ALL MONEYS UPFRONT too. So, they definitely are MISLEADING or plain out lying to you with this leveling assertion as we were told the crew was pulled off the job because I was told they need to level THE ENTIRE FOUNDATION FLOOR... I told the sales guy Mike, I might just sign a waiver and assume any liability from said not leveling... NO CHANCE, never was called to discuss the price for the leveling, or that I could waive liability from the floor contractor... I found out from Jacob the asst manager, who by the way, CARES ZERO about his teams, said the price, a 15% increase over the full value paid and they wouldnt come back until that was paid...SO 1005 plus 15% and you have ZERO RECOURSE... This is the best Lowe's. I had a long list of items for a maintenance project and the manager helped me find everything and provided great suggestions. I had four separate associates offer to help me while I was shopping. A+ customer service!!!!!!They also loaded our patio furniture into the truck and did an excellent job packing it securely to go across town. We were so impressed. read more

This organization has to be the most inept on the planet. It's fine if you know what you need, can grab it and checkout without store employee assistance to complete your order. However, if you are ordering ANYTHING to be delivered and/or installed FORGET IT!! I can guarantee to you SOMETHING will either be broken, defective, not ordered properly or not yet available when the installer arrives, it will be the wrong color, the wrong size, or wrong item, despite weeks to get the order, work through their ineptitude and you think everything is scheduled and ready. Reaching the manager will be another 3 days, and he will be too busy to give you the proper time you need. The people are usually friendly, but they usually have absolutely no clue about their jobs and don't do it well, drop the ball and let your order fall into the cracks. The person you worked with, who is supposed to be your contact, will be gone after the order is placed, no where to be found and never calls you. It's worth whatever extra money it costs to have a professional install whatever it is you need. Be sure to check reviews and good luck! I had to load my tub and sterling walls onto a cart myself then paid for it. The store lost it before my contractor could pick it up then sent him home with the wrong ones. The shower I ordered on line came in after two weeks they never notified me and when I had called about it they said they had it. When my contractor went to pick it up they had lost it, then sent him home with a different base and a broken back wall. Went in about the broken wall and one manager lied to my face and said he would call Sterling and have new one expedited and pick up the broken one the next day after they called me to meet during my lunch to pick up. No call and a note on my door, the shower was not ordered. Went back in to speak to another manager while the previous one hid from me. He order and said someone would be by to pick it up the next day after 4:oo. I came home at 3:30 to find a note that said "you weren't here" Met with the store manage who said he would track the shower and expedite it. He did have a manage come pick up this broken one. Two weeks later with no tracking number I called the help line to speak with a district manager. The young lady on the line said someone would contact me within 24 hours and no one did. The shower was delivered the next day with a call from the manager saying he had opened it and inspected it himself. Today, my contractor opened the shower and it was cracked. Do not do business with this store. They are a mess. They should not be allowed to deliver anything. read more

This is the absolute worst Lowes ever! I pre-ordered a door with a dog door over 2 months ago and here I sit. I had a Lowes installer come out and measure and he measured the door 4 inches incorrectly. Really?!? Shouldn't they know how to use a tape measure? Keep in mind Lowes hired this person. When the incorrect size door came in this store called and told me that an installer would call me in 24-48 hours to set up an installation time. Nope, they never called. I had to call corporate just to get the installer to call me and when he called me, he said it would be another month before he could install door. What?!? Since the door was the wrong size they had to reorder the door. I was told that they would keep me posted on an ETA. Here we are two weeks from that phone call and nobody has contacted me. So I called corporate and guess what?...part of the door is in back order. Did the store call and tell me ?... nope. If I wouldn't have called I would have never known. I'm out of sight and out of mind to these people. They have my 2,000+ dollars so they could care less if I get my product. After calling corporate all these times they have not offered me one solution. They tell me they will follow up and stay on top of it.. ok. Not true. Not once have they offered me a gift card or partial refund for my problems.. nothing, just a we will follow up! This is completely unacceptable customer service! I will never trade with lowes ever again. I hope that I can help someone from going through this mess! Don't trade with Lowes!! They do not care about you or your issue. Came to Lowes to return some tape and purchase a Hose. We went to Customer Service and found one lady working hard and on the phone and another chit chatting with a co-worker. We sat there for about 5 minutes and the lady on the phone asked us to hold please. The lady chit-chatting and her friend went to the side and continued to chop it up. Laughing it up and gossiping at a loud volume. Finally the lady on the phone gave the girl the stink eye and she came and helped us. Terrible service and I felt bad for the one lady working her tail off while the other was treating it like a HS Cafeteria. read more

We did finally have a Lowes manager help us get a replacement Samsung fridge. Our last one was a lemon for sure but the new one we have been given has performed flawlessly this past year. It's amazing how the same brand can have great products and lemon products with the same label. Kudos for someone who finally helped us out. I can't say we were too happy with Samsung either. They were masterful at dragging their feet. We shop at Home Depot instead of Lowes for this reason. Home Depot in Plano just gets what customer service is. read more

After going to several hardware stores and outlets - and even online, we were unable to find matching bathtub and bathroom faucets. You would think that it would be simple enough, but no place we looked had all three sets actually in the store to buy at one time - and we didn't want to pay UPS ground shipping to have them sent from an online store. Happily, we drove to one more place - THIS Lowe's, and came across Bryant in plumbing. What a great guy!! He set us up and got us every little gizmo and gadget to get the project done. He was quick and efficient, and even gave us tips on the best way to do it. So grateful, really. We were done and out the door in less than half an hour. Thanks so much Bryant. You're a hero in my book! I don't know why Yelp won't let me click on five stars, or I'd sure give it. read more

The guy inside that helped me with my paint and grass repair was awesome. As I headed into the garden center to do an impulse check I was all set to rave about this placc. As I spun through the garden center, I noticed a sign that said that in hanging pots for 50% off. I thought what the heck, be pretty on my patio for the weekend. My extremely positive experience was totally destroyed when I went to check out the garden center check out. Young woman behind the counter immediately said she knew nothing about the sale of the ferns And then begin to question me as if I were some scam artist. Rather than taking any initiative whatsoever she wasted her time until they call league walked by, at which point she yelled at him to ask about the sale, saying she says these are 50% off but I don't know nothing about that. Lake and I walked the one aisle Over to the end With a sign about the sale has caught my eye. He confirmed for sale. The checker continue to say she didn't know nothing about that because she has been off for five days. She then asked him to check out the customer that has been kept waiting behind me. Clearly they need to get someone with more Nisha tiff, more customer service skills and less laziness behind the counter. I also need to do a better job of making sure the six cashiers know if something is placed on sale so that they cashiers don't make customers feel like unwelcome criminal. Presumably the purpose of the sale is to engender more positive feelings not to run customers off. I guess I'll get my paint at Home Depot or Sherman Williams after all. read more

By far the worst customer service. On numerous occasions their sales support and managers show that they really could care less about customer satisfaction. Recently we bought a washer, it was delivered today and installed and when we ran the first load it flooded our wash room with water. We called Lowes and spoke to a Tyrone a manager who said he would have his service people get in touch with us. When they called they basically told us there was nothing they could do about it and maybe we should request a repair technician. After coming by the house they said it couldn't be repaired but it would be replaced by tomorrow. We then received a call from Gloria who left a message saying they couldn't replace it. There was nothing she could do except sell us a new one but not at the same price we had paid for the current unit. I callled the store to speak to the GM but was put on hold repeatedly and eventually disconnected. Poor customer service all around on more than one occasion. I'd suggest picking another store before spending money at this store. read more

Gosh...i feel like a real "Oink, Oink"! Again this is not about Lowes but about FIXINS right outside of Lowes. I had the beef tacos...good lord I should say I had 5 beef tacos today!! Man oh man. You guys have got to go and try it. Tacos are amazing! He only takes cash though. I'm still not sure about the times he is open outside of Lowes but I'm pretty sure its during the peak lunch hours that you will find him open! I totally recommend this taco place! read more

If you buy an appliance from this Lowes, get ready for pain. You pay for the installation "assessment", wait 2-3 days to schedule it then another 2-3 days to do the assessment itself. Not what I was told in both instances of appliance purchases. Then the persons doing the assessment tells you it will be turned in that day only to find it is 1-2 business days later before it hits the store. When you call the install department to ask what is going on, then the fun begins. You get told "loudly" what the Lowes policy for assessments is even if you try to give facts that differ. Feels like they are doing you a favor scheduling an install and you should just sit and wait for them to get to it. Sales persons at this Lowes; excellent. Miguel in Appliances and Edgar in Plumbing are outstanding. But ... 2 bad install experiences is more that I want to take. read more

Hate the fact that Lowe's has what we need (most of the time), BUT there is NEVER any service. Not one single person is ever on the floor offering to help. I have to go to the customer service desk where the young lady processing returns gives me with deer in the headlights look. Lowe's, can you not hire more people? My father came here to order 2 toilets and 2 installs. The clerk accidently put in a service for installing a toilet and a sink instead. He had to go back again and resigned a contract for 2 toilet installs and then they told him he needed more materials (more additional charges). The day of the install the guy came and said the form is only for one install and not 2! How can you charge and communicate and sign a contract for 2 yet keep messing up! Do NOT USE Lowes for your install. I would give a ZERO star if this was possible. Waste of time AND money! He talked to the manager and he just said sorry. Nothing else. YES, we are SORRY we went to you too. My father ended up not installing the 2nd one using LOWES. AVOID this place! read more

Contractors? - No Thanks, or, maybe, well, not sure... My experience starts in late January with three bags of MAPEI grout for a client job. After reading, understanding and following the instructions on the bag when applying the grout (even though I've been in the business for over 15 years) I discovered that the colors were off. - And not just a little! Neither of the two colors turned out even close to the manufacturers grout chart. I went back to Lowes and talked to T. in the tile department who seemed genuinely concerned and contacted the manufacturer who sent some grout stain to fix the problem, which -it didn't. After several attempts to talk to T. again, which naturally failed because he was either not scheduled to work or not working when scheduled or just plain nowhere to be found when I was there I requested to talk to a manager. This was answered with: " what do you want to talk to a manager for? He is just going to tell you that T. is the only one who can take care of this and that you have to come back when T. is here." Which, I was promised, was going to be the next morning. So I came back the next morning and, surprise, no T. My insistence to talk to a manager ended in me explaining the whole story again and receiving the answer " so what do you want from us? This is a manufacturer's issue." I explained to the gentleman that I was expecting Lowes to stand behind the products on their shelf and get me in contact with the appropriate decision makers at MAPEI so the liability issue could be adequately addressed. - Vague promises were made and I was sent on my way. Needless to say that from that point on neither T. nor the "manager" were ever available to be contacted again. After 13 (!) more visits and escalation to the store manager another individual finally claimed to be the department manager and "why I hadn't contacted him in the first place" and "nobody had told him about this issue had been going on" I was finally put in contact with the local MAPEI rep. The color issue was acknowledged but MAPEI didn't seem to think it was necessary to pay for the damages their faulty product had now caused. And for Lowes: They made it clear right away that "we have no responsibility for any damages caused by manufacturers issues" and "if you threaten legal actions we can't talk to you anymore." - No one threatened. I just asked for help with a faulty product and (how outrageous) for the manufacturer and the distributor to take the same responsibility I now do in fixing the floor for my customer - AT MY PERSONAL EXPENSE!!! Thanks for nothing, Lowes! Good luck attracting new contactors. Not me in any case. And not my customers if I can help it. read more

On September 17, 2016 I entered the Lowes 5001 Central Expressway Plano Texas 75023 where I attempted to purchase products that were marked down 75% off. At the cashier register I learned they were not going to honor the 75% off. The cashier (very pleasant) attempted to explain that the price was 75% off at which point I showed her the sticker that showed the same price she was trying to present. I asked for a manager, and she called an employee named Chris. I walked him to the 'green room' (the portion of the store where the plants and wares are) and showed him the 75% off sign was taped to the doors. He tore the sign off and put it in his pocket. He acknowledged that he didn't write the sign and that it had "been giving him problems all day". I told him that was not my problem and that he had to honor his advertisement. He replied that he couldn't as he proceeded to tear the sign down. I asked him to call his manager and he made a phone call. On the call he vocalized that he had already explained that he didn't have the authority to honor the price variance. After he ended the call Chris stated that his manager was not going to appear or discuss the matter. I ended up leaving the store without my purchase. read more
