BEWARE. DO NOT USE FOR ANY REMODEL PROJECT. HORRIBLE. Let me say first of all, that GARY ELY, the store manager is a liar, a con artist and a snake. We used the them for minor kitchen remodel. A project that was to take 5 days took 4 MONTHS. First of all...the sales boy named STEVE MCLEOD did nothing but lie to get us to sign the contract. The crew they used run by a GC named JOHN MOODY out of grapevine are dishonest and underhanded contractors. NOTHING DONE TO CODE (city of Keller investigating). They cut every corner and Lowes KNEW about it. Lowes did NOTHING to make it right...just excuses after excuses. They use fly by night crews...after JOHN MOODY they sent in an idiot named STEVEN DURHAM of TECH REMODEL INC. He was as bad as all the others. GARY ELY PROMISED they would 'make it right' After 4 months, we demanded money since they damaged our cabinets and drywall. We were shut down and told they have big lawyers. So now we take to social media...blogs....BBB....consumer affairs etc. Sadly they lost many customers for life. Everyone in our circle professionally and socially now knows of the shoddy work done by Lowes in Keller. GARY ELY is a infamous name. Word of mouth will spread and we are filing individual complaints of all the contractors. They were doing work that requires license (IE...electric which requires master license) but they are UNLICENSED for the scope of work they did. Will Lowes go on?? Of course!! They are an evil corporation with little yes men with no spine like GAREY ELY. They have dishonest sales people like STEVE MCLEOD who will bring in dirty money. But eventually it WILL catch up to them. It was not about the money....but the service. They are horrible people and they STILL have the same employees that screwed up our project. Shame on GARY ELY. He is a true snake. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ME....OR THINK I AM OUT TO GET THEM, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CHECK LOWES CONSUMER AFFAIRS PAGE!!!!!!!! I wish I did before I hired these con artists. Lowe's has the worst customer service. So, we arrived at Lowe's store on North Tarrant Pkwy, TX and found a Kohler toilet that was on sale for $99. Unfortunately, the store was out of stock, so they sent us to another Lowe's store on Precinct Line, TX which had 5 items on hand. After a 15 min drive, we arrived at the 2nd Lowe's store, asked the cashier near the front door if any associate can help us load the item (since we knew we are going to get that item for sure). The cashier refused to help us, and did not have any intention to call someone who can help. After 15 minutes walking around trying to find somebody, we finally found an older associate in plumbing who paid some attention (and sympathy) to their own customers and was willing to help us load the 75 lb thing. We got the toilet and the price turned out to be $141 instead of $99. We questioned the difference in price on the same item across the local Lowe's stores. We waited 20 minutes for the manager to confirm the price tag on the back. Finally, the manager told the cashier over the phone to give it to us for $99. Instead of being professional and try calling the other Lowe's store to confirm the fact, they acted as if we are trying to mislead them with the story. We got that impression because as the cashier was talking to the manager (over the phone), she were smirking/laughing about something as if over the other line, the manager were bad-mouthing about us. We are their customers and they acted as if we are begging them for the toilets! Worst of all, I tried to apply for Lowes' card to take advantage of the 5% off on new accounts because we decided to take 2 toilets to compensate for all the hassles. So, they let me proceed with my application and put the charge against my new account. However, it turned out that I did not get my 5% off on the toilets because, as they said, "we had to manually input the price, so it won't let you have the 5% off". What the heck? $99 IS THE DEFAULT PRICE OF THE OTHER LOWES (again, 15 min away). So, instead of breaking the promise on your customer (advertising about the 5% discount on new Lowe's cards) , FIX YOUR SYSTEM'S ERROR AND IMPROVE ON YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE! We were so tired of their service, so we decided to let the 5% issue go and just leave the place ASAP. Terrible experience! Will not come back. read more

I agree with below comments HORRIBLE PEOPLE!! One Yelper summed it up perfectly saying GARY ELY is a filthy little snake. The staff here is rude, the management and sales department are dishonest and the staff is uneducated. I too had dealings with both Gary Ely and Steve McLeod...MAN-CHILDREN AND FILTHY TINY SNAKES. They both are little tiny pathetic men with Napoleon complex , and I'm sure at some point someone in the world will catch up with them and give them what they deserve LOL. That would be funny The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting... The woman's bathroom smelled horrible, and when I told one of the staff that there was no toilet paper or soap she did not seem concerned. They do not honor refunds, that snake of a manager finds excuses not to honor them, do not buy anything from the store if you need to return it. The garden department has on organized unkept and run by as one yelper put it... "Retards". The Lowe's and Southlake is much better, worth the drive or even Euless. However, my go to store his Home Depot they are far superior to Lowe's. As far as the review I read regarding home remodeling... Simply DONT DO IT!!!!!!!! These people are not contractors they are sales people. GARY ELY THE LITTLE TINY MANCHILD SNAKE makes up his own rules as to whether or not he will allow dogs in the store... I do not usually like to leave negative reviews, but if I could give the store a negative stars I would. I must agree w the people below. I had a negative experiences with just about everyone in the store, and the manager GARY (seems an infamous name here) is a little evil guy with a big Napoleon complex. It seems from the reviews below a lot of people have had run-ins with this little Hitler. He called the police on me and told them I threatened him when I told him that his store sucked. The store is actually quite filthy, and disorganized you could tell it was run by poor management. More frustrating than anything is the fact that they do not have enough cashiers, they use the self check which I absolutely detest. I did not catch the old witch's name, but there is an old employee with short gray hair who is Hitler's sidekick... She watches you like a hawk, I made a slight mistake and she came over and asked if security had to get involved. she assumed I was trying to steal something she acted like an old prison guard watching everyone. How rude! This store needs to be burned! read more

Bad experience, probably because we have been shopping at Home Depot for so long, so we are not used to Lowe's lousy customer service. My daughter and I (who are very petite ladies) were desperate for someone to help with loading. However, it was 9:30 PM so every associate was passing the responsibility to the others by saying "Go to... this... and .. that.. department (and do not bother me??)" P/S The other negative review is my daughter's who had to spent the terrible experience with me at this Lowe's store. We never care about Yelp review until this day. Thanks to Lowe's. I love coming to this Lowe's, it's very organized and always has parking available. The gentleman that works in the section selling grills was extremely friendly and explained everything we needed to know about the dynamics of a grill. I literally drive 15 mins further to go to this location while bypassing 2 Home Depot's lol read more

The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The item we wanted was not available through Lowe's and was exclusive to another hardware store. The sales person knew exactly what we were looking for and pointed us in the right direction. I would definitely return to this location in Keller. read more
