We had a challenging experience with a deck our family had purchased at the Greeley Lowes - it was a pretty extensive (and expensive!) project, and while the quality of the material was outstanding, the subcontractor was simply awful (poor workmanship, terrible communication, no follow-up to the many promises made). Josh and Ashley at the Greeley Lowes came to our rescue by peronally coming to the property - along with a new contractor - evaluated the situation, and resolved it completely. We're very grateful for their helpfulness and attention, and am VERY impressed with the proactive approach they've taken to care for their customer. We highly recommend this Lowes store, and will happily continue to work with them for everything we need for upcoming projects. read more

Placed an order that was supposed to be delivered yesterday from Greeley and it never arrived. Called Greeley around 4pm because product was supposed to be delivered in-between 11:30-3:30 and they are supposed to call an hour beforehand. Greeley stated it's still running on time. Called the Greeley store again at 6:38pm store stated it would still be on-time (meaning before 8pm), never arrived. Now it's the following day, called the Greeley store and they sent me to fulfillment which didn't answer the phone. Called the delivery people 303-253-6966 and she put me on hold for 30 minutes, maybe because I called so early. But she only answered the phone from being on hold once the Greeley store transferred me to fulfillment (I was using two phones) thinking that she may come back on the line if the other line rang, which she did. They can't tell me when my order will be delivered and they need 24 hours to figure it out. I told her I could have someone go get it and then she asked if I have a flat bed truck. Actually, yes I do, can I have it picked up, because we really need it today. Well, no we can't go pick it up. So, spent 2k on flooring and another $80 to be delivered and have no idea when it will be delivered. Thumbs up, for having your stuff together (insert rolling eye emoji here). Horrible, frustrating, disappointing and waste of time. I was trying to save us time by not having to drive to Greeley, I think I just wasted the same amount of time having to be on the phone. read more

Placed on-line order for delivery 26May25 and store could not deliver any earlier than 5June25, a week and a half after order placed with a $75.00 delivery fee. Delivery address is only two blocks away. Just do not have the truck to haul 12' baseboard. If I did this to my customer I would go broke. No, I would not have any customers. Well, live and learn. Monday, June 2, 2024, about noon at store number 1812, terminal 4, my rather harrowing adventure of emergency bathroom repairs, was concluded with the help of Lowe's AMAZING staff. Three days earlier, a plumber had come to do repairs and discovered the floor was rotted. So off we went for 2x4's, plywood, leveler, adhesive, linoleum, and screws. Vicki helped us that time. She was so kind and patient even with the throng of people in and out the pro door. She made a very busy time for her, obviously, seem like , for that moment, we were the most important customers she had ...as I am certain she does for everyone. Then Saturday, the lady whose bathroom is being repaired, saw a blue paint on the mis-tint shelf. Sharrell even climbed down off one of those enormous, movable staircases to answer questions and direct us to caulking. We did not get the paint, because it "just might be to dark." Naya was running the self-checkout and greeted us and made sure to offer us all the best in our project. Her bubbly spirit helped us jump into the project optimistically. And it worked. Today, the lady called to ask if I would go back and ask if Lowe's could make that cheaper can of paint lighter. Well, we were very fortunate that Anthony was mixing paint and asked if we needed any help. He explained, professionally , but with a hint of humor how this can of paint could be lightened and then walked me back to find a quart of exactly Bright White Eggshell that could be mixed and create the perfect pale blue. His time and attention to detail- he checked the cans repeatedly to ensure they would be exactly the same paint finish- was something rarely found in customer service these days. Anthony YOU ROCK!! Then Aaron checked us out with his always customer service oriented way, and we were off to Finally Finish This Bathroom. Thank you all. Tried to order online from Greeley Lowe's and pickup when order is ready to save time. It took four hours to fill an order of a six-pack of smoke detectors and six 9 volt batteries. When they finally filled the order, they advised that they were out of four packs of 9 volt batteries. Instead of replacing the four pack with 2 two packs they cancelled the order. Attempted to call to correct the cancellation but it is impossible to speak to an actual person at the store. Now I can pickup 6 smoke detectors and two batteries curbside, park, go inside and find four more batteries. What a joke. Lowe's apparently has no concept of customer service or simply doesn't care. On three occasions they were quick to help the man. When I got to the front the store a heavy set women tole me I could leave I was heading to check out the items I did buy. DO NOT BUY FLOORING FROM LOWES. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!!!! IF I COULD DO A NEGATIVE REVIEW I WOULD. I placed an order on line for something in stock and kept getting delayed delivery. Finally had to switch to a more expensive flooring that was truly in stock. They ordered the same number of boxes but the new stuff was smaller sq foot boxes so then I was rushing to get more. Within a month of install the flooring was still making a cracking sound and raising a small amount on the edges. Now 6 months later still cracking, edges raising, planks raising, and top peeling off. After numerous phone calls and chats, being on hold over 3+ hours, I was told that I need to call a different number and they won't help. Even though they are the distributor and it is their brand, i was told to call the manufactor. So now I'm stuck with a floor falling apart and no way to fix it. So much for a warranty. So rather that making me call and be put on hold why didn't they just say - nope not going to help you or give me the correct people to follow up with rather than just giving me a cookie cutter answer. read more

If I could give this Lowe's zero stars I would. My experience here was usually never good. My family and I own a business and used to buy a lot of materials from this particular store. We would get a lot of stuff delivered. They never had any of our staff sign off on materials received so they never really knew what we received. So when they did a partial delivery they would mark it as complete. We called and explained to them that not all the materials were delivered and they acted like we were lying. The manager told us he needed to review the "tapes" to see if we received our items. This store is so disorganized and management and staff members are rude and don't apologize for their mistakes. If you make a large order please make sure you receive everything whether it's by picking it up or by a delivery because they may not give you everything and then give you a hard time about it later. read more

They lost a $3,000 sale because their people have not been trained. This points directly to poor leadership. I stopped by intending to buy a riding mower and found a nice one out front for about $2895. At least one employee saw me sitting on it and never thought to ask "Do you want me to call someone?". No one ever came out to help me - OK, I'll go inside. After buying some stuff at the self-checkout I asked the nice lady if new mowers had free delivery. Not knowing, she asked the gal at the service desk, who replied "NO!". I paused and after an awkward moment asked "How much is delivery?". She responded with the price, and I paused again even longer. I finally thanked them and left. Not once, did it ever dawn on either of them to say "Would you like me to find someone to help you with the riding mowers?". Apparently they don't get paid to sell $2800 mowers and it doesn't matter to them if the store doesn't get that revenue. I simply went to Home Depot across the highway and spend $3K on a nice mower and was treated great the whole time. I checked the Lowe's website and didn't find a way to email them. Was in the store for the better part of an hour, vast majority spent in the flooring section trying to find help. At one point there were five of us waiting, one guy kept pressing the "call help" button. I finally left to go do other shopping. Came back, still the four other guys waiting; one said two clerks came by, said they had to take something to the dock and they'd be back, then both disappeared. So I went to Carpet Exchange, got what I wanted with immediate assistance, signed a contract, paid a deposit and left - less time than I spent waiting at Lowe's. I get it, it's Saturday, you're busy. But to not even have anyone in the flooring section for over half an hour is ridiculous- then have two clerks run past without stopping, just making excuses, is totally unprofessional. Final insult - as I'm walking out, there are probably a half dozen employees at the front of the store standing around, doing abso-effin-lutely nothing. I don't care if flooring is not their "area", those lazy ass slugs need to wriggle their fat self-entitled asses to the area that keeps paging for assistance. read more

On 4/22 I purchased a dishwasher. Because the register used was apparently broken, Lowes ended overcharging me for the dishwasher having paid for it three times. It's over a month later and I'm still trying to get my money back. Calls aren't returned and it appears they are incompetent. I will not be shopping at Lowe's anymore. read more

Wow, have not been impressed with this store at all. I've been working on a project so have been spending a good bit of time purchasing supplies which has given me many different opportunities to be in the store working with the different departments as well as just grabbing stuff off the shelves. Most employees don't seem very well trained to help you find something or to answer questions and most just didn't seem to care about customer service or whether you purchased anything from Lowes. Trying to get something delivered or to place an order for something is cumbersome and frustrating. read more

Bought a screen door from them and paid for professional installation. It took a lot of work to even get the install going in the first place. After the install we have been trying to get someone to come back and adjust the door. I have called eight times requesting warranty service on the door. The last time I tried to call I never got a hold of anyone. I requested on their voicemail, three different departments, was put on hold for approximately four minutes and then disconnected. Their service is awful, their service after the sale is completely unacceptable! I will never do business with this store again!! read more

Went to Lowes for the third time in the week. I was working on a project. I ran out of some lumber and was standing on the lumber isle as I had questions. Dallas walked up but I guess he did not have the knowledge to answer simple questions I was asking. He then diverted into telling me he is going to have someone assist me. Left me standing there for 15 minutes with no assistance. I had to leave my things and walk to the front of the store to ask for assistance. I feel if the associates are going to be around the store they should receive proper training and education needed to assist. If customer service is your number one then you should train your associates to stay with customer until someone knowledgeable shows up and not go rogue. I was not pleased with the service and maybe next time I will travel the extra 2 miles to get assistance and not treated like I am putting someone out. read more

We had a very aggravating experience at the customer service desk on Sunday, 4/7. We purchased a Tiller from a friend and it needs service because it is not working correctly. The machine has a Lowe's sticker on it so we called the store and made it clear we did not purchase it there; they said no problem, bring it in. We got to the store and spent the next 30 min waiting around for someone who knew how to process what we needed. Finally someone came over and started inputting our info then we were told we needed an original purchase date and receipt (which we had already told them several times we did not have). If someone had told us this up front we would not have wasted time loading the machine, driving over, waiting around in the store and then reloading the stupid thing. Worst Lowes i have been in. Bought a vanity that was marked for 299.99 and it rang up for $4.58 at the self checkout. I let the cashier monitoring the registers and she had no idea what to do so I had to wait for a manager to get the pricing corrected received not thank you or anything but oh well at least I did the right thing. I then asked the manager if I could get some help loading it in my truck. She called for some one and no one showed up. The cashier called 5 more times and no one showed up. After 25 minutes the cashier advised me to go to the customer service counter because that way the managers standing by it could make someone help me! I advised her I am not sure why that was my job and told her that everyone seemed worthless. Luckily a customer whole witnessed this helped me load the vanity. read more

I usually go to this store because of the service. Unfortunately, my last visit was not to pleasant. I went into the store to purchase some new lawn equipment because I was moving. They didn't have everything in store. So I purchased an 80v mower with 2 batteries and a chain saw with a battery. I then had an order out j for a trimmer a blower Nd a pole saw without batteries because I already had 3. With the in store purchases. I was told a 2 week time frame for the ordered items. 1 week later I was tilz that the wearhouse canceled my order because the pole saw was on backorder. Why cancel an entire order without contacting me is very poor communication. So I had to have the store resubmit the order for the 2 items that were available, however, I now have to wait 2 weeks again instead of receiving it 3 days from when later when it was supposed to arrive. To.make matters worse, the store is now telling me the only way to get the pole saw is to order it with the battery now... oh yeah, that will be an extra $100.... I asked Lowes to help with the cost because I already bought the chainsaw with the battery because the pole saw could be ordered without (I didn't feel right returning the chainsaw because I already used it). The employee called management to discuss it. The manager on duty said no because it was a special order and if I wanted the pole saw I had to pay the difference.... the manager was a coward and didn't even have the nerve to say it to my face, has the employee tell me no. I feel like it was a total bait and switch. Why have something you can order and then cancel the order and say if you want it, you have to pay $100 more for something you don't need to get it. Very disappointing.... My only thought is don't trust this stores management to make things right. You will be disappointed. They are cowardly and in general heartless. Failure to make things right and forcing your customers to pay more for something they don't need to get what they do need may be good for the bottom dollar, but socially makes the store look like big business squeezing every last penny out of the working public. Absolutely horrible. I asked a customer service rep for help he refused to help me cause he said he was busy. I asked for a manager and he said I'm not going to call a manager. It was a huge fiasco I am disabled and can not walk far I needed a product that I was told was on isle 11 then I was told it was by the concrete then I was told it was clear across the store when I asked the man to go get it he threw a fit. I had to call the manager from my cell phone to get help. Seriously. The staff needs a over haul and this rude guy needs a good ringing of the neck to realize customers pay your check so help a guy out when you clearly see that the one lady running two registers is overwhelmed. We've been long time customers at Lowes and was severely disappointed with our last visit. We went in for a coffee pot. I understood that when we asked where the pots were and was told they were no longer carring coffee pots. That's understandable. Until as I was walking away I noticed a pot on the second shelf and asked for it and was told they couldn't sale it to me until black friday. Are you kidding me? We ordered appliances through the Lowe's in town 3 months ago. Since ordering them, our delivery date has been changed 3 times. None of them were told to us until we called to find out what was going on with our order. Upon calling the most recent time, all I got was a dismissal and "there's nothing we can do". I came to the Greeley location earlier today and purchased some MDF. After I got home I realized it needed to be cut down so I called the store and they said they could do that for me with no problems. When I looked up the phone number on their website I also noticed they closed at 10:00pm. When I arrived at 9:30pm at the store the doors were locked although the Business Hours on the main entrance also said they closed at 10:00pm, so I called the store and explained my issue. They refused to help me and denied the posted hours stating I would have to return when the store reopens tomorrow morning. I don't need to buy anything so there's no need for any registers to be open I just need to have a board cut to size. I drove 45 minutes to get here, now I'll have to drive 45 minutes back home only to have to do this all over again in the morning because they absolutely would not honor the business's hours posted on the building and on the website. Now as I sit in the parking lot typing this review, I can see 6 capable employees just standing around the customer service desk doing nothing productive. If I worked here I definitely would've handled the situation better, but I don't and that's the entire reason I'll permanently take my business to their nearest competition. read more

Conversely, I've also received great customer service from the paint department. Unfortunately, you remember the poor service more so I just steer clear when I see those folks working. My husband and I were in the store today, July 4th and were looking at nothing particular, but stopped by the grills. A very helpful young man named Tim came up and told us all about the grills and recommended one , and then we moved on and were looking at riding lawn mowers. There was Tim again willing to help. We didn't buy anything, but it was very refreshing to have someone actually come and try and help. In most stores the works hide, so good job Tim. We may be back and we will remember you. read more
