    Not sure if you all know this, but Lowe's will have clearance items from time to time. At a certain point, the items get lowered to the point that they are dropped out of the system. What does this mean? Instead of selling a lower price, they toss the merchandise. Then they take the loss on their taxes and keep prices high for the standard consumer. The Assistant Manager Devon insisted that the corporate store policy was to trash these items. She refused to message the general manager and said these would be gone by morning.

    NEVER USE LOWE'S INSTALLATION SERVICES! They were supposed to install a simple glass paned door. The installer forgot to come out the first time to measure. Then, when they did come out, they recommended a custom door (although we had already had someone out to measure who said the doorway was standard) at twice the price of the one we picked out. Then, the installer was late coming out to install it. Finally, when we looked at the door, all the panes on both sides were covered with a sticky film which was covered over in paint. The installer had already left before showing us the door. It turns out that once the door was installed (which they knew was defective), the warranty was transferred to us. Now we've waited weeks while they put in a warranty claim to the wrong vendor and keep trying to have the problem be ours. They will not replace the door or do anything to help. They are unconcerned with the problem and don't really care how long this has been outstanding. Do yourself a favor and never use them.

    Make sure you read all print and fully understand the confusing and poor grammar of the free installation section when ordering any appliance online. The delivery crew does not nor are they trained for any installations. Installations are not free. The delivery crew is a drop and run. Without going into personal issues my husband ended up having to install and hurt himself in the process. I went back to the store and new manager Scott was very attentive and did credit us for inconvenience. While I might buy some landscaping plants there, it will need to be a pretty cold day in hell before I ever purchase another appliance there. Lowe's corporate you need to rewrite your installation policy on your website and have a better online process for appliances. The second star is for Scott who tried to make it right. Corporate-you are at -10 stars. Marvin Ellison you have some work to do.

    This place is horrible, employees are rude, rude and don't know what they are talking about. GO TO HOME DEPOT!!! Management stated that Lowes does not price match online prices. Their policy online says they do. They still claim they do not match online prices. I had to read the policy to them. I then asked to price match item for item I was told had to be the same brand so I found the same brand they then began to argue and say we still are not price matching because it does not have the same model number. The item online was the exact same item could not locate a item number online it was a $.44 difference in price per foot. They continued to say no I then found a roll of wire online 150 feet same brand name their roll was 250 feet which was cut in half used. The item number did not match because one roll was 250 vs 150 feet and it was the same brand. They still refused. We went round and round for about 20 minutes I began to get angry the sales person became angry he was shaking. I asked for another manager and asked him about it of course he's going to back up his employee all of this is over $.44 difference a foot for a wire that was 2.88 a foot. After about 30 minutes of going back and forth we realize the item is discontinued. There was a reduced sticker on top of the role that said was $.61 a foot now $.45 a foot. I technically should've gotten it for $.45 a foot but I was only trying to price match online $2.44 a foot which would've been only $.44 off. Every time I would do what the manager or associate said they would then change their story and make it more difficult they were very argumentative and did everything they could do to not accommodate me. Then when we began to leave they both looked at me with a big smile and both said have a wonderful day or have a nice day as a dig. What a bunch of ASSHOLES!!! Just saying for future anybody who is in need of supplies DO NOT go to Lowe's this locations management is absolutely horrible and rude just as well as the other associates and they do not care about customer service or the customers they will fight over a penny. Lowest prices my ass!! Lowe's can go to hell!!! I would not even star but I didn't have a choice in order to complete a rating. Went to Home Depot purchased the same wire original price $2.91 a foot gave it to me for $2.44 a foot looked at the website on my phone verified it was the same item and verify the price never asked any questions never argued even gave me an extra 2 feet when they cut it check out the receipt and the photos attached thank you HOME DEPOT!!! Spent total of $597. Okay with that because not one penny went to Lowe's. This was a start of a $40,000 project but Lowes went to argue over $.44 so my business will go elsewhere

    There is  a difference between wet cement and wet concrete, people.

    For a long time I supported this place and strongly advocated against shopping at Ace hardware…read more Keep things local at a hardware store that is part of the community. Unfortunately, one smug employee ruined that experience for me, and I'll now be switching my allegiance to Ace. I purchased a small $6 shower accessory. Unfortunately I lost the receipt. The accessory was not what I needed, and I attempted to return it. The employee stated I cannot return without a receipt, even for a store credit (I was going to purchase products worth more than the value of what I was returning). I was disappointed at this response, but I shopped for what I needed anyway. I went to the front, and the employee was helping another customer in an aisle. After helping that customer, she proceeded to another customer in the aisle. Now, I understand one person having to triage, but at that point a simple acknowledgement of me would have been nice. It felt intentional, and it seemed as if the employee was taking satisfaction, acting somewhat smug as she told me she won't accept a return without a receipt. Not sure if this is just one rude employee, or the owner is really this strict about returns on $6 items that are clearly unused, but either way, I seriously doubt I'll be doing business here any more. If you had or have a similar experience, I also encourage you to drop these clowns. (Incidentally, when I purchased the item I would eventually return, I was not asked for my phone number (which they generally use to text receipts, as I'm part of their "customer club" or whatever. So there is actually another mess-up by a different employee that could have accommodated the companies own draconian return policy.) In short, I go to a neighborhood spot like this for the service. And when I'm treated this way, it defeats the purpose of avoiding much more convenient and likely cheaper options like Ace or Amazon. You are not really selling hardware - you should be trying to offer a superior customer experience--remember that and you will not lose customers like this
