This is a very nice Restore county shop. Things are relatively clean and items are very well organized. The store looks spacious, and staff are very friendly. Compare to the Habitat for Humanity in Montgomery Country, this store has a much better atmosphere. It is located in a strip mall with good number of parking spaces out front. We had a good time to walk around in the store and knowing any purchase made here will be contribute to the community building. read more

I love treasure hunting here! Always new and rotating items and I almost never leave without something

I love the people at the restore here in Frederick. Cashiers are always very friendly and knowledgeable. I go in often to find items that can be used for my craft business. There's always a wide variety of items from tools, furniture cabinet, flooring, and many other things I available for purchase a lot of times especially on days where they're running a really good sale. The fact that they run sales on items that are already discounted makes me come back and the quality of the good so you are inspected before being put on the floor so you don't have to wonder if it works or not. But if you're buying something electrical, you can always check to make sure before you buy which I appreciate. read more

Large store with tons of furniture, household stuff, craft items, kids section, lighting. The real fun is the building supplies in the back. Volunteers are nice as can be, and it's a fun browse if you are thrifting, especially if you are fixing up a place. Also a great cause! read more

I was looking for some side tables and everything was pretty beat up and over priced. In fact, I think whoever is pricing things need to chill out. These are donated items. If you want to move things price appropriately. I will do better at yard sales. read more

This is a new location for this particular ReStore. The old location was across the street from where I live. However, I'm so glad they were able to relocate. It's just a couple blocks away from the old location and it's so much bigger! Not to mention it's organized way better, there is way more selection of furniture and home appliances. The staff is always friendly and you can't beat the prices. I bought a really cool Crate and Barrel sectional for $600. Normally this couch would cost over $2000. There are other great pieces of furniture for cheap too. I bought a marble plant holder for $40. I'll post a pic of it for you! read more

Something very weird about this place. Went in there for the first time today and the furniture is absolutely horrible and the smell in there is horrendous. Very dirty stuff overpriced will not go back not to mention staff was quite rude, I waited and waited for about 15 minutes to ask a question of two women that were just talking about their personal lives. I stood within two feet of them just waiting. To no avail I walked out, I had some stuff I was going to donate, I'll take it elsewhere. read more

This is one of the best Restores I've been in... it has a ton of chandeliers, doors, even whole sets of really nice kitchen cabinets. I saw two seriously great deals- a table and chair set, real wood, for $140, and a set of 11 cabinets, dark wood with brushed nickel knobs, for $500. A close runner up was the red sofa and wicker chair right up front... If I were about to move, or just moved, I'd be buying up a storm in this store... it's a must stop for anyone doing a rehab project, or looking for a project piece of furniture. Tried to donate building supplies but was turned away by an ignorant old man working there. I was unloading a 2'x5' piece of concrete board and some other scraps. He barked at me, that they don't take scraps. Then his beady eyes looked over my shoulder at the boards in the open trunk of my truck, and said, "we don't take any of that". The piece in my hand was large enough for a backsplash, hearth or any of a host of things. The remaining concrete boards in my car were (3'x5') FULL SHEETS! This organization fixes houses right?! Rather than explain to this incompetent mouth-breather, I drove off with all the materials. This is why more people don't donate to charities. Uneducated, rude employees treat a charitable act like I was dumping garbage in their front yard. Restore, you disappoint me and you disappoint the people you are claiming to help. read more

Not far from Downtown Frederick this value goldmine has appliances, books, furniture, hardware, tools, and bric a brac. "Back Office" staff has super stars that help you find, price check, and load stuff. The check out staff remains a bit idiosyncratic (uninformed, uninterested, and unavailable ) but tolerable in view of the store's neighborhood value. read more

Interesting store to visit. Something for everyone. You do have to wipe off the dirt and dust. Furniture is interesting to look at but is mostly in pretty bad shape. The book selection is fun to browse even though the books are very old and dirty looking. Employees at the front desk are very pleasant. The rest room in the back is deplorable as it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years and the entire store does have a smell. The parking lot is a challenge. read more

This used to be a good Restore (and I've been in a lot of them from KY, to NC to MD). This store has slowly transformed into an extremely overpriced garage sale with more dirty couches, bed frames and beat up baskets than anything else. They have gotten rid of most of their building supplies and replaced their inventory with what looks like junk people couldn't sell at their own garage sales and donated. For the prices they are asking for the remaining windows, doors and tile you'd be better off just buying new. For a long time we would pay the higher prices because "it's going for a good cause"....but now it's not worth it. read more
