Gaver Farm - Pumpkin patch

The farm is situated in a beautiful setting, and the entire fall experience was very well organized. There are plenty of activities for kids of all ages, and our children had a fantastic time exploring everything the farm had to offer. Since we visited during the week, three or four attractions were closed, but there was still more than enough to keep everyone entertained. I also tried the Fall Shake-Up drink, which came with a donut, and it was delicious! One area that could use improvement was the pumpkin patch. The pumpkins were already picked rather than growing on the vines, and many were rotting or smashed, which was disappointing. We also noticed a broken board on one of the low wooden jungle gym structures that should be repaired for safety reasons. On a positive note, there were plenty of portable restrooms conveniently located throughout the farm, which is always appreciated when visiting with young children. Overall, Gaver Farm offers a wonderful fall experience for families, with lots of fun activities in a beautiful, well-maintained setting. Despite a few minor issues, we had a great time and would definitely recommend it to families looking for a fun fall outing!

A solid place to bring your kids (or just yourself) if you're looking for more than a standard…read morepumpkin patch. This place has a little bit of it all - pumpkins, food, animals, corn maze, activities, etc. I will say despite the fact that I think it's ridiculous that a two year old is somehow the same price as an adult, I appreciate that unlike at some other farms the entry fee does in fact cover almost all activities. And as a parent of a small child, I definitely love that all the activities are near each other so you can easily move from one thing to another. My toddler was able to experience lots of different fun things on our afternoon there, although I will say beware that on some days enormous field trips will descend on this location. I am docking a star for a number of more picky reasons. To start I think the variety of items in their store is an area for improvement and left me feeling like they were missing the mark when it came to edible items. We bought very expensive pie that was fine but I do not think worth the price. It is also difficult in general to get food at this location due to limited options and very long lines. We ended up leaving to eat elsewhere. Lastly, I do think customer service leaves something to be desired here. I have visited during other parts of the year and do feel like they are more friendly when not in the heat of the fall fanatic season, however, I found it annoying that they absolutely threw a fit that my toddler did not want to wear the wristband for entry despite me offering to wear it on her behalf and at multiple points we were scolded about this. To clarify, this band is only checked one at entry and yes I understand it is to avoid me fraudulently giving the band away, but I easily could have slipped mine off regardless and done that if I so wanted to. Additionally the amount of priority given to the field trip groups over regular customers seemed unbalanced to me. We have visited many other farms that have field trips in attendance and we have always been encouraged to join the hayride if there was additional room, etc. We will definitely be back again next year! Overall I think a lovely farm that I've seen grow over the years to meet the demands of the public in a really positive way.
