Customer service was rude and unreasonable, and managers enforced policies that were not stated on receipts or clearly communicated at the time of purchase. Once management became aware of the issue, they continued business as usual instead of attempting to resolve the matter promptly and amicably. The managers demonstrated a lack of problem-solving skills and displayed a callous, non-responsive attitude. Pricing on merchandise appears inflated, and some clothing items were dirty, as if they had been dragged on or left on the floor. It is clear that staff are not properly trained on current store policies, which leads to unnecessary confusion and frustration for customers. A manager even stated that unless information comes directly from a manager, any information provided by staff is considered invalid -- which reflects serious internal communication issues. This was absolutely the most disappointing experience I have had at this location. I will be contacting corporate, as the manager was reluctant to readily provide corporate contact information and did not provide the name of the other manager involved when asked.

A note here that the Salvation Army is a Christian organization. They played religious music in the back of the store.

There actually are two stores here; one handles slightly more upscale items for around $25 each. Especially for people perhaps losing weight and in an intermediate size, the price is right! The bathrooms were clean and nice but you do have to walk through a staff area to get to them. I found some really great pieces here! Some Value Village tips- think carefully about which day to come. Mondays and Thursdays have 25% off sales but they are busy. Weekends are busy too. You can always get a 20% off coupon if you donate. Also, since there are no changing rooms wear something close fitting so you can try on clothes over what you're wearing.
