Nice store and lots and of good quality stuff. The decor and and lay out is easy and navigable.

There is so much to peruse here. Honestly I don't really see much difference in the "home goods" offerings here than at their sister stores Marshall's and TJ Maxx. I bought some jam in the one aisle of food items. I also peruse the pet section. I was about to buy some piddle pads for my pooch then I remembered PetSmart was next door. There are employees EVERYWHERE!!! They are very jovial with the patrons of a "lighter hue". Of the 6-8 that I came within 2 feet of, only ONE said hello or even made eye contact (we shared the same hue). I did not feel that I was welcome or wanted. This is the LAST TIME I will shop this particular location. The one bright spot was the cashier Deanna. When asked if we found everything ok, the answer was not "Yes". With zero hesitation, she stopped and asked if we would like help finding anything. read more

I happened on this store by accident. I was traveling to Hagerstown & took the wrong exit...went straight when I should have gone right & the next exit I could turn around was exit 15. I've been to this particular Home Goods twice and I must admit the store is always very neat and the customer service is always on point. My mom always finds something to purchase every time she comes (3 times this location) but you could say she is a Home Goods stalker, lol...she loves Home Goods! The one thing my mom did point out is that this HG's price point is a little higher than the one in Mt. Airy but I guess that is the nature of retail. read more

The store is located off of I-270 in the Market Square shopping center. There is a parking lot right in front of the store and neighboring business establishments. This particular HG location was exceptionally neat and organized. The clearance areas throughout the store were a breeze to shop in while walking down the aisle. Items were clearly marked and not just dumped into the area. Furniture pieces were not grouped in one common area, but in the aisles as well by category. For instance, benches were located in the same area. I also noticed that the store had a sign on a defective table with a top that was not secure. I thought that was a good idea to have a warning label on there since there are kids in the store. It was also a good sign that I did not observe a lot of damaged items for resale. Most items were in new condition and placed in the correct location with similar items. The checkout process was quick and fully staffed to accommodate the line. read more

I am so very pleased with my experience at Home Goods. Laura who appeared to be in charge or maybe a manager went beyond her call of duty. I visited the store twice today for things that I forgot to pick up the first time and had the opportunity to be assisted by her on both visits as well as another associate Lauren. A large gift box that I had my heart set on, had a handle that was coming undone. They very kindly offered to hot glue it right then and there and gave me a discount on the original price. Not only is the service great but the associates throughout the store are helpful and seem to like their jobs. Check out is always quick and there are always plenty of cash registers open. With all the shopping that is needed during this time of year it is certainly a treat to come to a store that takes customer service so seriously. Thank you Home Goods! read more

I have to bump them down a star, sadly. Many, if not most, of the items are NOT made in the USA. Fine if you are the similar-yet-aptly named store next door, but since HomeGoods does not claim to specialize in "imports", I'd prefer more American-made stuff. Why does that matter? Well, on my last trip here I came across several items that had warning labels on them. They were made in China and had labels that said the materials were "known to the state of California" to cause cancer, birth defects, and reproductive harm! I'd like to see a little more social and eco responsibility on their part, moving forward. (And I do have to wonder who will buy those tainted products?) read more

Really like this Home Goods store. The inventory is constantly being updated. I never go in without leaving with a lot of nice items I had no intention of buying. I like that the staff is on the floor to easily assist you with bulk items. The addition of the delivery service option was a good move too. I'm overdue for my next visit but I'm already expecting more good things. Keep making this store a solid option for great home accessories that are reasonably priced for decent quality. read more

It seems like when I don't need anything specific and am browsing for fun, I find the most amazing things. But when I go seeking something I really need, I am usually disappointed. I was in the hint for a Dutch over. After hunting and hunting and hunting, I finally came across and pretty small one in the clearance section. There were two of them, pretty cute. When I turn it over to see the price, I gasped....on clearance for...get this....$99.00. Yeah....I'll just leave this right here, the lady standing near me, found my reaction amusing. Curious as to whether this was a good deal or not, I quickly Googled this brand and found this price wasn't bad compared to online prices. Nonetheless, I left it there, because I was not prepared to drop that kind of money on one piece of cookware that day. I found myself at walmart moments later and found a 5 qrt cast iron dutch oven for $35. I'm sure you can imagine my excitement. I will continue to shop at homegoods for the little knick knacks that are just too adorable to pass up, but not for my home staples, that I don't want to spend a fortune on. read more

This my first time going to a home good stote. This place has a little bit of everything for the house. Somethings are pricey and other items were not as high. They had several strange items in here but the place itself was great. The people were helpful and friendly. The store was neat and no aisle were cluttered. I will definitely be back. read more

I have traveled to at least 15 different Homes Goods in different states. The manager at this location made this location really stand out. I was in the store for about 30'mins and she was fixing the shelf here self and helping the team members. The store was really organized. She was very friendly with our kids. She even provide the kids with candy. My one daughter hurt her leg prior and she was consider and provide her with an ice pack. This is our favorite homes goods location even though we love about 2 minutes from the olney home goods. read more
