Great shop to pick up decor items for your house. They have a huge collection of Rifle Paper Co products. I definitely made a dent in my wallet at this store.

    Poor quality dishes

My husband and I had an awful experience with Relish Decor. We registered for a set of "fine" dinnerware (marketed as fine stoneware--$100+ per table setting) from Relish Décor and were so excited to receive the set. When we received them, we were horrified to find many pieces broken or chipped in the set. Considering the set seemed to be packaged and protected very well, we had concerns about the quality of the dinnerware set, especially considering how expensive it was ($100 per setting). We requested that my sister-in-law receive a refund for the set and we would return the pieces to relish décor due to the quality issues. What followed was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Relish Décor refused to let us return (we were even willing to pay for shipping) the set so my sister-in-law could get a refund for the low- quality dinnerware. Despite going back and forth about the obvious quality issues, the owner of relish decor refused to offer a refund. They did replace the broken pieces but you've guessed it--they're already showing significant wear and damage despite only 1 month of use. Now we are stuck with the low quality dishes. We were hoping these dishes would be a blessing as we start our marriage but have turned into a nightmare. 1 month later we are having to buy a brand new set of dishes from Target and my sister-in-law is out $200+. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM RELISH DÉCOR. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY KIND OF REFUND FOR THEIR POOR QUALITY, ONLY RUDE MANAGEMENT AND UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT REGISTER FOR YOUR WEDDING AT RELISH DECOR.

$30 @ in the Streets Festival in Frederick MD

Strolled by during the "Frederick In the Streets" Street festival on a beautiful sunny day in September 2021. The jars on tables caught my attention and upon inquiry learned they were drink mix in a jar concoctions. Thinking this was a resturant or some kind of craft cocktail place went a bit further with the sales associate and ended up purchasing an "old fashioned" "Camp Brand" cocktail mix in what looks like a mason jar. There were also large "family size pretzel jar" containers with what appears to be dried fruit and other assorted ingredients when after adding liquor of your choice transform into deliscious cocktails, maybe even better than the bar-tender made type. Well not really thinking about it and riding high on the in the street vibe, went ahead an shelled out ~ $30 for a mason jar with some dried fruit in it. The sales associate was somewhat cluless and didnt even offer to return change or a receipt and on completing the transaction immediately latched on to another passerby without blinking. I walked away contemplating the purchase then realized that my change was absent as well as receipt. On walking back to the sales associate, she offered to go inside to get change, which seemed odd and unprepared.. Also there was another sales associate there who didnt offer any service either.. From the other reviews of this place, agree with the assertion that the items here are on the $$$ pricey side. Really overpriced when you think about it... Im not sure what the "Camp" brand cocktails go for on the internet, but quick searach returned website https://www.campcraftcocktails.com/ with $25 price range for the item that Relish charged $30 for.. So I would say buyer beware. Not going to knock this place for quality but the prices could use reality check and even willing to pay a bit more if the service improved.. For example a quick apology for no change or acknowledgement that they are basically re-selling another companies product with mark up.. Good luck.

This is an email I sent to customer support: "We recently purchased an area rug for $249.99 that was advertised as 8ft x 10ft. I have attached a photo that we took when were deciding on which rug to buy which shows this. When we got it home and unpacked it there was a label attached that told us the rug's actual size was 7ft 10in x 8ft 11in. I have attached a photo of this label as well. We are extremely disappointed to have paid $250 for a product that is not at all what we expected. We had measured our living room and wanted an 8ft x 10ft rug for the space. We still really like the rug and do not wish to return it, but are not at all pleased with this case of false advertising. We felt it important to bring this matter to your attention and hope you will consider making some changes in your stores to avoid any more upset customers. As it is, we are not sure we can trust At Home for any future purchases and would advise others of the same." The response I got was: "Hi Stewart, Thanks for contacting us! Our rug sizes are approximate measurements and actual rug sizes may vary depending on the country of origin and the manufacturing technique. If the rug you purchased isn't quite the right size, you're welcome to return it. Here's a link to our return policy: https://help.athome.com/hc/en-us/articles/203774695-What-is-your-return-policy- Please provide a copy of your receipt to better assist you. Thank you so much. Best, Tina At Home Customer Care" So they not only make no apologies for the false advertising (or read the emails customers send them properly), but instead defend it. So I figured I needed to let people know about this, and warn you that, like us, you'd be well advised to avoid At Home.

I went thinking they closed at 11, and in reality they closed at 10, she came to me as I was already walking up to the front and started harassing me that THEY were CLOSED. I said okay, and kept on walking so then she said you have 3 minutes, so I looked at my phone and said actually it's 4 minutes to 10, and she said with her back towards me because she was leaving " you're not gonna dictate at what time the store closes" which I never said anything regarding at what time they close. Something so simple yet she made it a HUGE deal, and put words in my mouth. I told her she shouldn't be doing customer service with that attitude and she told me because of people like me it was that she hated it. Anyways it's just so sad to see such an amazing store with horrible employees.

Great people, good prices and a lot of inventory to look through. We had been to several stores…read moreover the course of a couple of years (we live in PA) looking for some dining room lighting that we both agreed on...when we walked in here we found exactly what we had been trying to find. They are very helpful and we did not feel pushed in any direction. Cannot recommend them enough.

We went into the showroom looking for exterior lights for our home…read more They had several options on display, but hundreds more in catalogs. Where we live we have a huge wasp population (I think I have seen every species possible flying around) so we wanted to avoid open bottom lights as we had issues with wasps building nests in them. Also my husband made it even harder as he didn't want, plain black with clear plain glass, which of course is most the current style. Both Lori and Tracey helped us out. We sat looking at lots of catalogs, checking online. We spent a long time in the store and they were very patient with us. We even found some that we liked, but they were super expensive (of course the catalogs don't have prices, they have to sit with a computer to assist) as we needed 7 lights even they knew that would not be a good pick and we continued searching. We eventually were successful, they ordered our lights and within a week they were ready for pick up. They recommended 2 electricians for us, one they felt especially suited our needs after talking with us. We got quotes from a few local electricians as we live further out, but we also got one from the guy they recommended: Mark from Monocacy Electrical & Lighting Services LLC. He was the most friendly and knowledgeable guy and fairly priced, we used him and were quite happy! Our lights look fantastic, we were very happy with the whole experience. Except the Ouch to the bank account, s there lighting is much more expensive than shopping at Home Depot, but there lighting is unique and fantastic. You get what you pay for as they say.
