If I can give a zero I definitely would! I experienced the worst with my online order. We have been on the hunt for a zero turn lawnmower and decided to purchase it via Lowe's online. They routed our order to Frederick location on Buckeystown Pike. The morning of the delivery day we happened to not be home since they confirmed the order will be delivered in the afternoon. Nevertheless, since we weren't home the item was dropped off w/o any inspection or signature required. Upon our return to the house we found the lawnmower was missing a spare key; the manual bag with accessories were dampen and torn. The item was poorly put together and it looked as if the lawnmower had been used. Immediately, I contacted Lowe's in Frederick . The call was transferred to the mgr name Brad whom later ensured me that he will do a replacement item for an exchanged of new one the following Wednesday or Thursday. I have yet gotten any updates from him. Left several messages to no avail. Furthermore, after speaking to Brad later that afternoon- as we were trying to move the lawnmower into the garage we found the lawnmower was dead (our neighbors had to helped jumpstart it) to add more surprises to our findings the lawnmower already had about 50 hrs on it already upon delivery. Which confirmed that this was definitely a used lawnmower. We have been trying to get in touch with Brad to let him know as well as getting an update a confirmation of our new delivery and unfortunately by far it hasn't been easy!!! I definitely do not recommend this store. Will be contacting the corporate office to file a complaint on this. read more

If you are looking to redo your kitchen, I highly recommend this Lowes. Not only is the showroom gorgeous, the staff is knowledgeable and are a great help. It was my first time renovating a kitchen and I felt well taken care of. Cabinets/granite go to Matthew. Flooring go to Brittany, Brad and Delores, Their customer service was tremendous! Bought new Samsung refrigerator which decided that it wanted to freeze all of the food in the fridge compartment after about 4 months. We called Lowe's for service and they apparently sub this out to A&E Service. We have our 4th service scheduled for tomorrow because they can't seem to fix the problem and won't replace the defective unit. Apparently they view 4 service calls in one month as ONE call as well. Every time we call we get a different agent regurgitating different and often contradictory information and "policies". We think their real policy is to keep their incompetence hidden for as long as possible. We were told that Samsung would not help us but when contacted directly all they require are copies of the service orders which A&E and Lowe's apparently cant be bothered to forward to them. I think I will go back to Home Depot or Best Buy for my appliances. read more

Lowes, you suck! Your rugs, curtains, and self-checkout registers are outdated. Also, there should be some warning that a camera will be right in your face while checking out. Lastly, I brought a bag and then had to wait for an associate to come verify I brought a bag. I moved to a different register because it's ridiculous to make a custom wait to verfy a bag. Not worth my time. You also don't carry parts to fix swinging glass bathroom shower doors. The spraypaint section was in disarray making it difficult to find satin knickel spray paint. How do I know what a door catch is and one of your associates does not? Instead of asking other associates, he fumbled around on the Lowes website. I showed him a picture of what I needed and he showed me two items that didn't match what I needed. Only redeeming factor were the women who answered questions about shower door parts and semi-permanent contact paper and another gentleman who told me exactly where gorrilla glue was located. read more

Had my bathroom renovated and the tub taken out and replaced with a walkin shower. Ordered everything from this store-which is very busy. While I've had to wait at times the reps were always very helpful with advice when needed. Got beautiful stone for the floor and banco shower doors. My contractor was able to pick up my purchases with no trouble. My son had no problems returning the extra stone. The recommended grout was perfect. When I had a problem with the shower doors shattering the plumbing mgr was terrific in resolving the issues. They have a HD convert forever. Now I'm redoing my kitchen. yikes. read more

I am a long time Lowes customer so it pains me to write this. I have had windows, skylights, and gutters replaced and the wood on my townhouse replaced with vinyl. All has been very satisfactory. Then I had my roof replaced in April through Topco roofing. My roof was over twenty years old and I thought before I had problems I could have it replaced. The work was done in April. There was a leak in my bed room the first of July. It was fixed. Then I had a leak in the bathroom. They came today and FIXED it. I had requested to Gary at Lowes that the roof be replaced because of two leaks less than three months into a new roof. He sidestepped that request by saying it would be determined by the roofing company. I requested Topco replace the roof, they stated all they could do was fix the problem leak, that it was Lowes that made that decision. I feel I have been given the run around by both Topco and Lowes. Don't come here to have your window blinds installed. I first ordered custom blinds which I was told would be one price and when the final quote cane in it was $600 more and the sales person "didn't know why". So I went with stock blinds. Their phones were down for a week and nobody called me to set up an appointment or to tell me the blinds were ready (because they had to be cut) or anything. I called the other store and the manager gave me the emails of the manager and sales person and nobody replied. So I went to the store and they acted like it was no big deal. So finally they cut the blinds and I picked them but then last minute they are like oh btw you need these returns that go with the blinds. They all said "white" on the packaging but had color variations ranging from white to an old yellow color. So I told them I wanted returns that actually matched the blinds and eachother. The sales person said she would call the other store or order them and it would be ready in 2 days. One week later I hadn't her from them so I went in and she did not even order the returns and my install appointment was that day. And the sales person took a phone call while I was there in person, disappeared, and never came back. So three weeks after the fact I still had no blinds installed and when I spoke to the manager Charlie, he made no effort to rectify anything or even keep me as a customer. He didn't even apologize for the poor service or the inconvenience. He just said I could return them. I spoke to another manager who said he would work with me but by that point I was over it. So I had to lug 14 heavy blinds back to store. Thankfully they allowed me to return them but they must be flying in private jets and living like rockstars to lose out on a $1000 sale. I gave them 2 stars because everyone there (except Charlie) was extremely kind and caring and I have had other good experiences there. No hard feelings they just couldn't get the job done. I went to NDB and they set up an appointment for the install that day and I will get my new blinds this wknd. They are more expensive but sometimes you have to pay for good service and less stress. read more

I received the best customer service at this Lowe's location than I have ever received at any store anywhere ever. As soon as I walked in the store I was greeted by the lady in customer service. I went there to rent the Bissell Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine to clean my carpet. I went to the flooring section. There were two associates there. One saw me looking around and immediately greeted me and asked if I needed help. I asked him where the Bissell machine was located. He responded with a smile that it was in the front of the store at the customer service desk. It amazes me how sometimes you can ask an employee of a store a question and they will act like you are bothering them. I never felt this way in the store. I felt welcomed and I felt comfortable asking any of the employees for assistance. Another worker said hi to me on my way back to the customer service desk. This may seem so small, but you rarely find that type of warm, friendly customer service anywhere these days. When I got to the customer service desk I asked the lady if I could bring in my coupon (that I forgot at home) when I returned the cleaning machine to get my $5 off then. She said she thought I should be able to. She later asked another employee if I could bring the coupon with me when I came back to receive the refund. I'm not sure if he was a manager or assistant manager or something. He said go ahead and give her the $5 off now. As I was explaining that I found the coupon on the Bissell site another employee at the customer service desk found the coupon online. She tried to print it out for me, but for some reason she couldn't. In the end they still gave me the $5 off. I realized I left the coupon as soon as I got in the parking lot, but I didn't want to have to turn around and go back home. I never would have expected them to give me the discount without actually having the coupon.The associate that checked me out picked the cleanest machine for me. I actually got to use a brand new machine that had just come in. She could have just handed me a used one. What amazing customer service and a great shopping experience. I would recommend this Lowe's to anyone. They go well beyond excellent customer service. They are superb! read more
