Visited this store to return items and make an additional purchase. The area for returns is right at the entrance and the line moved quickly. All returns accepted without hassle and they credited the original card used to make the purchase. From there I went to grab a few painting supplies for a home project and headed out. It's a standard, big box, home improvement store. The prices aren't the lowest, but you can find almost anything needed for a home improvement project. read more

On may 13 I ordered a set champagne bronze figures for my bathroom. On May 14 I was told it was delivered. I arrived home to see like 7 black plastic pack pipes on my porch. No order number no package or bag just a bunch of pipes I never ordered. So I called the customer service line. I was told that it was taken care of and someone would pick up the garbage they left for me. This did not happen. So I called back 4 more times same results. Lowes Customer service kept hanging up on me. What each agent wanted was for ME to take the wrong item they sent me back. I said to each agent I ordered it online for a reason and because of that I need these pipes picked up. As soon as I said that each one put me on indefinite hold. I had had issues with the store but now you can't even order online from this company. Its absolutely horrible an there are no oversight to make sure things are actually working. Looking at the pics how could a human with eye sight confuse the two. I think I was just scammed by lowes. read more

I went to Lowe's on Hampton Road to buy Stain Master carpet as I really like the product. Unfortunately, even after asking for assistance in the flooring department and it being announced over the intercom, no associate came to help. Earlier today I went to Lowe's in Mansfield and could not get assistance there either. To whom it may concern at Lowe's Corporate, you lost a sale at two locations! I went above and beyond to buy your product. Something is broken in your company. I give up. read more

No one works there that actually have knowledge if anything. Not even the sales they have. Sale item are mixed in until you get to the register and the little girl that is only there to scan is rude and has no clue of the store. No customer service and took an hour from my day. I don't know if it is because it's in the hood they talk down to you or just their culture. Either way I ended up wasting my time and walking out. This girl could barely talk and went right back to being on her phone. I guess actual working knowledge of the place you work at is no longer needed. And these companies wonder why they are failing. I mean you got a 1 star on here and corporate don't care. But hey shit on the mom and pops that actually knew what they were doing. read more

The sales associate Miguel was great. It was the shipping and receiving department and their AI assistant that dropped the ball. The product was never placed on the truck for delivery and the AI assistant was telling me it was scheduled for delivery between the hours of 8am to 8pm on Monday, March 23. I took off work in order to be there for delivery and kept getting messages all day the product was on the way. Finally at the end of the delivery window I called the store and spoke to a live person Myra. She said " oh we don't deliver that late! The next day the AI assistant was still chanting the same message that the product was on its way and would be delivered between the hours of 8am to 8 pm on Monday, March 23. This was now Tuesday March 24!!! I went back to the store in person and found Miguel and he got this fixed and straightened out correctly. He deserves a raise for fixing the problem. Loyalty to the customer especially after we've paid for the product and services!!! We ordered tile flooring for our small bathroom and the store informed us that they had plenty of tile flooring available and all we had to do is contact the online service pay for the product and a installation specialist would call us on the following Monday well no one called on Monday so I called the online service and told them I'd not been contacted..then I called back again and was told that some of the products were missing and they had to place a order to get more tiles then no one called me to let me know they had received the extra tiles..now I'm told after a week from someone else that the product missing is still in back order???? WTF!!! Now today I call the installation department speak to a manager then Lawanna gets on the phone and repeated the whole line of lies all over again I'm about to have a stroke!! Associates don't understand their own job. Lowe's hires anybody and it clearly shows. Went to pick up my order and it took longer than it needed. Complained to associates that I needed a refund because I was charged twice for the same item and the RETURN associate didn't understand what I was talking about. Very unprofessional for a lack of knowledge of their own job. read more

This location doesn't know what Customer service means. Managers are no help at all, was even told they had more important things to do than help a waiting customer!! This location is terrible, tried getting pickets and 2x4s delivered, after over a month I still don't have it and the location is not helpful with anything. If in need of designer lighting, you have come to the right Lowe's. Joe and Claribel Ruiz were extremely helpful. Truly remarkable customer service in lighting and fixtures! Claribel took approximately 30 minutes searching in store and online for a light fixture that I was hoping to replace. This to include calling Joe for step-by-guidance in checking store wide for a replacement. I was impressed. Did I mention Ms Claribel Ruiz didn't stop? She continued a major company-wide search. Happy customer! I will definitely return. read more

Just attempted to buy a washer and dryer at this location and the team member, Deon, in the large appliance area did not acknowledge us when we approached. I purchased a Bolen's Gas Blower on 8/22/2020 from Lowes and used it once. Second time it took 5 minutes to start it and lasted for about 3 minutes. Took it back to Lowe's to try and upgrade. They said no. Response was "You didn't buy a warranty". I understand I didn't buy a warranty. I'm glad that is how you base your Customer Service decisions on buying replacement plans. I was given the option of having a less than 6 week purchase sent out for repair. The kicker was the $80 fee I would be charged to repair a $89 blower. Won't return to Lowe's for anymore purchases. I would give zero stars if I could. They wouldn't honor their own coupon (which was still valid) because it was print from an email and not on their paper. Horrible! Selling roses while the roses in their landscape are severely infected with Rose Rosette disease! It's a highly contagious disease and all the roses in their garden center are almost certainly infected. WORST EXPERIANCE EVER !!!!! Purchased a dishwasher online and decided to pick up at the Hampton location since they had one in stock. What a mistake !!! first I receive a text notification it was ready for pick up. So when i arrived I notified them I was here in the curbside pick up space. Waited 30 min before i walked in. still waited 45 min after letting them know i have been waiting !! total for the little rude Hispanic girl to come out and give me attitude. Actually asked what side was the front was so i could open it to inspect for damage . Her response was sarcastically "I don't know I didn't put it the box" smirking at me the whole time. Spoke with a manger and she was no help either! Her exact words were I cant make her apologize I have never been so disrespected at a lowes before ! First time at this location, I had an exchange then lighting and appliance questions. Met an employee "Josh", I think he was a manager. He was really helpful and patient, made me very comfortable with my new purchase. This is now my new favorite Lowes! If you need to buy a new appliance look for this guy, he's great! OMG, no sooner had I posted this and my favorite guy is gone!! Sad!! A woman helped me today (on a leg scooter), Holy crap, she was rude, mean and seemed quite full of herself. I asked to see the manager and she stated "I'm in charge here", I just walked away and went to Home Depot. I don't have time for people like this. I visited this location on 6/16 @2:30 PM. I was looking for a certain type of screw that I needed. As I was looking for the screw two associates walked by one female and one male. I walked toward the associates to ask for help. The female associates proceeded to walk away. The male associate Santiago was there. I asked him if he were a manager (hopefully he could help me) Santiago response was "Are you a manager"? I was taken back because I was not expecting that response. I immediately responded with " I'm not going to accept this type of behavior. I walked to Customer Service and an associate there asked if she could help me. I proceeded to advised her of what happen with Santiago, and she smirked and said, 'Oh yea , I know who that is"?????? She advised me to speak to April the manager on duty. I waited for April to complete her phone conversation. I waited for 10 minutes but I left. I do not think Lowe's would like someone working the sales floor with this type of attitude. read more

Do not order kitchen remodels from this place. I spent about two hours getting estimates to then find out this did not include installation and I would be charged $75.00 to have another person cone ti the house for measurements (which were taken initially to quite the cabinets). This was not told to me at all throughout the process Lowes, your lack of communication at this store not only lost you a 15,000 to 20,000 dollar remodel but also other sales. I went to Home Depot and spent another 500.00 dollars on things I intended to but at Lowes. Every other company I am dealing with so far provides one inclusive estimate after their visit. Your process us not efficient and wasted your customers time. read more

Mixed feelings! I have had some extremely helpful and very nice dept floor personnel that made me want to come back. Then i get to the check out and totally lose that lovin feeling. **********DO NOT I REPEAT...DO NOT******** SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE**** ESPECIALLY THIS STORE****** ****YOU'VE BEEN WARNED******** This is the worst place on earth for customer service . It must be a prerequisite or part of the training to blatantly ignore customers!!! Especially during the week! Sunday when my sister and I made a purchase for my mom, we had 3 or 4 people trying to help us. This was the only good part of THIS visit to this store . We were originally told delivery would be on 12/31.... no one ever showed up or called until 620pm on 12/31... When we called earlier they had no record of us having a delivery for 12/31. However when the driver called at 620 he asked could he deliver to us tomorrow (Monday) 1/1. Being that it was a holiday and all I just felt it was oversight or a honest mistake. So Sure I say... well here it is 726pm and no one has called or delivered my mother her stuff!! Now...let's back up to Wednesday 12/27... I went back to this same location to purchase a washer and dryer for myself. I waited in the appliance area I promise you for 25 minutes... pushed the " need help push this button" button 3 times and after 25 minutes a sweet man by the name of Guy who works in cabinets came to try to help me the best he could. Needless to say I was so angry by then that I took my business and my money to Home Depot. I will not never step foot in the Lowe's on Hampton rd ever again until they train their people on how to provide customer service to people in their store willing to spend their money. One thing about me I'm not going to chase you down or beg you for service AND pay you too!!! Deuces! read more

I've been waiting for over 10 minutes for someone to help me in the paint department. I had to flag someone down just to get them to call for assistance.
