I can't recommend Wilson's Appliances in Conroe enough! We have purchased so many things from them…read moreover the years, and they are always my first choice when we need a new appliance. And now they're so close to my house in Willis! We've bought our king-size mattress, our Speed Queen washer and dryer, a freezer, and multiple refrigerators from Wilson's. I'm actually on my second refrigerator from them now, and I absolutely LOVE it! It's probably my favorite refrigerator I've ever owned, and I would recommend it in a heartbeat. One thing I really appreciate about Wilson's is how much time they take to actually listen to what you want--even the little "silly" requests that might not seem important to someone else. When I was looking for a refrigerator, one of my very specific requests was that I wanted to be able to open just ONE door and still reach the crisper drawer. I didn't want to have to open both French doors every time I needed something out of it. They listened, understood exactly what I meant, and helped me find one that worked exactly the way I wanted. It was the same when I was choosing our Speed Queen washer. I had questions about getting a washing machine with an agitator versus one without, and instead of just telling me which one to buy, they walked me through the pros and cons of each so I could decide what was actually best for our family. They really take the time to help you find what you want while also making sure you're getting something that is good quality and built to last. That kind of personal service is exactly why we've gone back to Wilson's again and again over the years. If you're looking for a locally owned appliance store in Conroe, TX for a refrigerator, washer and dryer, freezer, mattress, or other home appliances, I highly recommend Wilson's Appliances. I'm so excited to see them open their new Conroe location and could not recommend them more!

Everyone if you're in the market to buy any appliance for the house, check this place out first. We…read moresaved a TON of money buying our new washer/dryer set and it comes with a WARRANTY!! Pros: Selection: on the outside the building is small but on the inside I was really taken back at how much inventory was inside. There are fridges, Washer/Dryer, Ovens, Stove Tops, you name it they have it. Keep in mind this is technically a "scratch and dent" store but most of the items are brand new. Price: The set we bought cost $4,800 brand new (Home Depot or Lowe's) and that doesn't include what they would charge for delivery. At the Appliance Outlet we paid $3,100 and that included delivery. We were super happy with the next day delivery and speed of installation. Location: This gem is tucked away in the heart of Conroe. I've lived here 5 years and never heard or seen this spot before, but I'm so glad we saw it!! Cons: Negotiating: There isn't much wiggle room the salesperson was willing to go even if you're a cash buyer. This is the place to go for your next appliance. Check them out if you're in the area!

Delivered the new one, did not take the old one I called the driver he says I didnt pay for it, called the store was told by Mason oh no worries we will take care of it. Called back next day spoke to Brandon twice who really needs to learn how to mute his phone before calling people names that rhyme with witch!! They have no idea what customer service is!! My 3-year-old Samsung refrigerator stopped cooling because the doors were inadvertently left open…read more I called Kelly, and he arrived within the scheduled window. He gave me a clear diagnosis and explained that the evaporator coils or air vents become blocked by a solid mass of ice, preventing cold air from circulating. He used a handheld steamer to quickly and safely melt away the ice blocking the evaporator coils and internal vents; however, it didn't work. He later instructed me to unplug the refrigerator, leave the doors open for 24 hours, then turn it back on the next day for 12 hours. I was happy to see my refrigerator fixed and cooling again. I recommend Kelly for your appliance repair.

I popped on Yelped, searched appliance repair, and it was very obvious that I should reach out to KrisKelly first, based on the great reviews. I submitted a request-a-quote on Yelp on a Sunday afternoon, and heard back Monday morning. By Thursday, there was someone at my house and my dryer was fixed within about half an hour. The service guy even gave me some great tips on maintaining my washer, dryer and other appliances for the future. It sucks to need an appliance repaired, but when you can get the problem resolved as quickly and as pain free as possible, it's such a relief. That's exactly what happened here. This will definitely be my first call next time it happens (hopefully not for many years).

Knowledgeable and Trustworthy!…read more I have a 15+ year old refrigerator that neither the refrigerator or freezer were working. Akai inspected the entire unit and indicated the issue was the defroster in the freezer wasn't working and needed to be replaced. He quoted me what I thought was a very fair price but before I could say "Shut up and take my money!" he added that when he had unplugged the unit & plugged it back in, when starting up again the compressor sounded a bit suspicious. Thus he indicated I could go ahead and pay him to install a new defroster in the freezer, but it is only a matter of time before the compressor craps out and then replacing it would be over $1,000 and not worth it. So get this....he proposes that I defrost it the old school way by unplugging it, opening both the freezer & fridge doors, placing towels in front of the unit, and allowing all of the ice to melt and then just mop up all the water with towels and my wet vac and that would solve the problem for now. And in a few months when the issue occurs again I can just repeat the old school defrosting method until the compressor finally goes kaput, and then get a brand new refrigerator. Sure enough, I proceeded to do exactly what he recommended and lo and behold the fridge & freezer started working properly again. And I am all too happy to repeat every few months to squeeze every last bit of life from this old fridge until I have to get a new one. Akai could have very easily kept quiet about the compressor sounding sketchy and that it could fail in 3 weeks, 3 months, or 3 years and gotten a nice service order for replacing the defroster since he had already devoted the valuable time & effort to come to my house. However, he instead chose to be completely honest and forthcoming which is not as common as it should be and is very appreciated. I have saved his contact info and the next time I have any issues with any appliances he will be the technician I call. Knowledge and experience is great and there are a lot of qualified & knowledgeable appliance repair companies out there. However, also possessing honesty and integrity is why I strongly recommend Akai for any appliance repair issues.

He is very knowledgeable about different appliances and he knew mine right away and he had an idea what it could be and sure enough it was the soap & softener dispenser. He showed me how to remove & clean it. It had held water wasn't draining back into the machine like it was supposed to just a minor little thing but now I know how to clean it periodically. Worth it for my peace of mind & also made sure I knew where my water shut off was just in case. These are good things to know , most people might not & that I'm a woman & older, it's good to know. Plus it doesn't hurt to have my machine looked at after 16 years. I've been here so I won't be afraid to use my washing machine so thank you AKIA.
