HEY LOWES!! I wonder why the last 10 reviews are 1 star. Yep . . . your right. . . because they don't allow no stars! This is the worst Lowes on the planet . . .and it has been for years . . . and no one cares. If you stopped and took a leak on isle 4 it would still be cleaner than the mens bathrooms. I have never been here when there is not two or three stall that are out of order (Your a Home Improvement store . . . run over to Home Depot and get some parts and fix them!!). There are always paper towel on the floor and the last time the bathroom was mopped was during the Truman administration. This is a nasty store. Who runs this place? Good news Home Depot is only a few blocks away. I had a new roof installed by a Lowe's in North Carolina for about $6500. So when it was time to get a new roof in Texas I decided to give them a call. The NC house was a little smaller so I was expecting a $9000 - $10,000 bill for this house. It took 4 days for Brian to get back to me with a $14,500 bid. Wow! And that was with the 30% discount on the shingles. A couple of quick calls and I found 4 contractors that would all do the job for under $11,500. "Well we can get you a cheaper shingle . . . let me get you a price on that one" . . .He never called back. Go to Home Depot people - this place sucks. read more

I visited this Lowe's 4 times in one day this week. It was all for plumbing pvc and I had a horrible experience each time. Nothing was in the right place. I bought elbows 1/4 in too small because they were in the wrong box and had to make another trip back. I told his to the customer service rep while returning the wrong ones and the cashier when purchasing the new ones. No one cared. The guy in plumbing tried to sell me irrigation piping (with holes) when I asked him where to find the sewage piping. I didn't end up with sewage piping but my husband said what I bought will work. read more

According to Yelp!, I've now been here 93 times over the last 5 years. I haven't had any problems. I like their app--I can instantly find where an item is located, and returns have been easy, especially using the MyLowe's card. I haven't done any special orders, tile, flooring, etc., so I can't speak about that. I'd recommend Lowe's if you're in Conroe, and it's in a convenient location. read more

I recently placed an order online to pick up in the store. Due to Covid-19 I was excited they have no contact pickup. I pulled into a spot and called the number as instructed. No answer, the phone just rang. When someone finally answered they had to transfer me to pickup (which is in the same spot as customer service) and still no answer. So I was forced to get my mask and walk inside. I walked in to find 2 associates, Tammy and Angie...talking to each other and NO CUSTOMERS! Then they proceeded to finished their conversation before even acknowledging I was there. Then I told them I tried to call and nobody answered and they said oh is your phone turned down. So are they purposely ignoring calls? Then I had to wait again for her to find and retrieve my order which isn't a big deal...technology. But I had already been waiting in my car, and now I'm waiting again. While Tammy was finding my order I saw a bunch of associates just standing around talking to each other. As a fellow retail worker who has worked ALL OF COVID just like them, I am extremely upset with the customer service at this location. Maybe some extra training on customer service would be a good idea. A simple hello how are you? How may I help you? Even a hello, I will be with you in just a moment? Thank you for your patience...Goes a LONG way. I am happy with my products but will maybe opt to have my items delivered in the future to avoid dealing with the associates at this store. read more

Bought a 9' Christmas Tree at this Lowes today. The guy running the Christmas Trees had to be pried away from his cashier chat session to help us. He could not put the tree through the netting machine because the tree was too big according to him. WHY DOES LOWES NOT HAVE THE CORRECT NETTING MACHINE? He could not tie down the tree to our SUV roof due to insurance reasons. I tied it down with his string. Don't buy Christmas trees at Lowes. Terrible service. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. Saturday I purchased all new kitchen appliances from the Lowe's in Conroe TX. I chose the appliances that were "available ", in store and I was promised delivery the following day. Needless to say this promise was broken. The on duty store manager "Greg" was no help and needless to say I was forced to cancel the order as Lowe's lied about the availability of their inventory, or their staff is just poorly trained. 3hours of my day was wasted making the purchase. Another hour was wasted playing phone tag with Greg and the other staff the following day attempting to remedy this. I emailed Marvin Ellison (CEO), and customer service with my concern and a description of this horrible experience. Since I have a long history with Lowe's which they have documented in their system, I thought maybe I would get a call from someone today. Someone in management who cares enough to make this right or prevent this from happening to the next guy. I was wrong. read more

Lowe's in Conroe WAS my go to store for all of the projects for my new home. I was able to order items online and there was a dedicated pickup desk. I didn't have to send my wife with a list hoping to find the correct item. The folks at the pickup desk were excellent and helped my wife, so she didn't dread doing errands for me, while I continued to work. In someone's idea or reorganizing they did away with the pickup desk and to say things have taken a dive in an understatement. The women at the customer service desk are not helpful and quite often lazy. Recently, a young Lady with multicored hair waited on us but was rude and basically unaware of her job in customer service. I accept all of my receipts as email instead of paper. I tried to return a $5 part and the Lady asked for the receipt. I said it was on My Lowe"s account or email and she said she didn't have time to look that up, it was my responsibiluty to have a receipt. The refund was $5.97 so instead of making change she just gave me $6. Lazy! I sent my wife in for grout I ordered on line , with listing of 7 bags available but no one could find the grout on two separate trips. I drove down the street and bought it at Home Depot. That sealed my ideas about where to shop...NOT LOWE'S. read more

After waiting 15-20 minutes in the cabinet department, I was told I needed an appointment with the ONE and ONLY lady who works in THAT department. The new inventory management system that Lowe's employees utilize regarding placing orders for customers is not effective. I waited a couple hours in the Conroe store due to this system "timing out" when placing an order for several appliances. The following day I received a call from the kingwood branch at 6:38am stating that my entire order was canceled because they could not fulfill one of my items on the invoice due to the system not working properly. After several days of speaking with multiple people from the appliance department, and a sales manager in kingwood branch (who never followed up) my order was not fixed. My last attempt to resolve my order, I spoke with Amber (who works in the cabinet department at the Conroe branch). Amber advised me to revisit the Conroe branch to replace my order. Additionally, she scheduled an appointment to reduce time. Furthermore, she had everything from my previous order pulled up. All I had to do was to confirm the transaction. Amber was the only one who went out of her way to ensure that my order was fixed, and her customer service impressed me. If it were not for her, Lowe's would have lost my future business to one of their competitors. read more

I had a delivery scheduled for 5/1 between 8:30-10:30am. At 9:30am on 5/1, I received a call from XPO delivery service that my product wasn't delivered to warehouse and therefore did not make it onto the delivery truck. She rescheduled my delivery for 5/9. On 5/9, I receive another call that my product wasn't delivered to warehouse and therefore did not make it onto the delivery truck. Again. The woman who called rescheduled for 5/11. On 5/11, I received neither a call nor a delivery. I called and was left on hold for 20 minutes while they looked for my order. Finally, I was told that my original order had been place wrong and did not have a P.O. attached to it, so it had apparently been lost in the system. The woman told me she was re-ordering the product with a new order number, and it would be delivered on 5/17. I was irate that I was being told that I'd have to wait yet another week, so I drove to the Lowe's store where I made my purchase and was assured that the error with the order had indeed been corrected, and that I'd definitely get my delivery on 5/17. Today is 5/17, and I have not received my delivery. I've called multiple phone numbers and spoken with multiple people, and nobody seems to be able to help me. Over the last two weeks I've taken FOUR days off work to be available to accept this delivery, and spent countless hours on the phone on hold being passed from person to person. I have no idea what I did to deserve this seventh circle of hell. read more

I spent around $8,000 in the last 30 days and the first delivery was wrong and I had to exchange it and now today they delivered a Refrig, Stove, washer and dryer with out any parts. I called Loews and talked to the manager and he said they do not sell the parts as part of the product purchase that I have to ask for them What a way to run a business, They sure had me pay and sign a contract to have the dish washer hooked up but never told me or ask me if I needed the parts, therefor you would figure all the parts were there with the product. DO NOT do business with this store if you need your product delivered. Ordered a washing machine as mine quit working. Received an automated call the following evening that it would be delivered the next day between 12:30PM and 02:30PM. At 01:45PM the following day I received a call that it would not be delivered until 04:00PM and 05:00PM. The delivery truck showed up at 04:50PM. Then it started. The washer was to go into my laundry room where my current washer was. In order to get the old washer out and the new in, it requires the dryer be moved out of the way. They refused to move the dryer in order to install the new washer. They told me that I could move the dryer myself, otherwise they could not install the washer. I am disabled, and can not move the dryer. Had to cancel the order, since they refused to install it upon delivery. read more

My first job was at Lowes, I loved it at first but a crummy manager made the job suck and after two years I left. I had a bad taste for Lowes for years. Today however when I went with my mom to get her a new dryer, Vinnie, in the appliance department was so helpful and NICE! He is a wonderful person and Lowes should be happy to have him. Also the older lady in the blind department don't remember her name she was super helpful in helping us find some shades for our patio. We have bought all of our appliances from them. The dryer was repaired 3 times within the first year and still did not work. They made us buy a new one and would not replace. the replacement dryer lasted 2 years and just died. A brand new fridge- 2 months old has also stopped working. Can't get anyone to take care of it. They said they would of replaced if it was within the first 30 days, luckily for them it was 60 days. They told me some people just have bad luck. I don't think that's the problem, bad products and worse service is the problem. I will be buying from someone else. read more

I have had to call and call and call and bug people to get them out to do estimate and then again once they were out here, I had to wait and bug them to get an estimate. Tried getting the warehouse to deliver the oven to their store so I could pick it up myself and they wouldn't even do that. They also tried charging me for the purchase before it was delivered. I went to this store 3 weeks before Halloween to order and double in wall oven. I informed them that I would like to have my oven installed before Thanksgiving. The appliance department told me that I will have measurements taken and be contacted in 2 days and once that was done I was going to be able to order my oven and I should have my oven before Thanksgiving. A week went by and no measurements, no calls, so I had to call them and ask for status. They gave me the number to the company that was suppose to take measurements. The contract company told me that Lowe's has not released my order. Finally two weeks later, a different contract company came out took measurements. I harassed Lowe's again to see if I can order my oven now. It took about two more days for them to say they received the measurements. I placed my order a week into November finally (11/6/18). When I placed my order, I was told that my oven was going to be in 11/20. By this time, I'm cutting it real close. I received a call from the contracting/installation company on (11/7) to schedule an appt for installation the following Monday (11/12). I was shocked. I told them to double check with Lowes because Lowes told me my oven was not in until the 20th. She said she will call Lowes to double check. Received another call on 11/9 saying Lowes confirmed that part was in and appointment for MOnday was going to be scheduled. I was excited and was shocked that it was in earlier than they thought. Received a call from Lowes Monday Morning saying that the installers were mistaken and they don't know who told them item was in and my oven is still not scheduled to be in until the 20th. Okay. That's still fine. Installers called and said to have me check with Lowes to see if Oven was in on the 20th and they will squeeze me in on the 21st (the day before Thanksgiving) to get my oven in because they knew how important this was to me. I called Lowes on the 20th and told me that the manufacturing company just shipped the oven until the day before (19th) and it will be another 12 days at least before my oven was going to be in. It was until then they explained to me that it was "THIS ONE OVEN" was the only one that had to be ordered from the manufacturing company. Why didn't they tell me? If I knew that, I would have picked out a different oven so I would have it for me to cook my Thanksgiving dinner. So I called their corporate office and they told me the manufacturing company didn't ship the oven until today (20th)... WTH.... Corporate told me that I was going to receive a call from their local district manager.. no call as of today. Now I'm wondering if I will ever get my oven. It was a stressful thanksgiving. I'm a mom, a wife, a sister, an aunt, and I love cooking for my family for the holidays and I usually don't let things get to me too much, but I was actually kind of hurt by this experience. Lowe's has very bad, very bad communication with their customers. They don't explain much about what should be expected, instead they make promises that they don't fulfill. They reassured me and stressed to me that I should have my oven before Thanksgiving. I selected them because they guaranteed over Sears. Sears probably would have had my oven installed before Thanksgiving. If you want appliances delivered from this place/location; expect to wait for a long time with a lot of confusion as well as being misinformed not just to you as a customer but to the contracting company they set you up with. read more

I bought a gas dryer and washing machine from another location, but the dryer was to be pulled from Conroe. Turns out that It was out of stock. Huge bummer, as I had already given my functioning old dryer to the delivery guys when they dropped off the washer...assuring me the dryer was to follow. The Conroe store manager made it right immediately...had a replacement loaner dryer sent to my house the next day! Things got messed up, but he made it right! read more

BEWARE of delivery services! No Show, No Call, LOST our dryer (driver said he had already delivered it, then said we weren't "on his route," then said he had tried to deliver it outside the timeslot we'd agreed on). After several phone calls over several hours on our part, we found out that the dryer had been LEFT IN A DELIVERY TRUCK on a third party storage lot, where it sat overnight. The delivery service refused to return the dryer to the Lowe's store because it COULD NOT LOCATE its driver, And, Lowe's refused to refund our money until it got its dryer back. We were stuck in the middle with absolutely no control over any of this. All we could do was sit back and hope the dryer made it back to the store so we could get our money back for the dryer we never received! Asked to speak with the assistant store manager, "Shaun," because we thought he might want to know about this. He didn't. He hid behind his underlings and made them talk with us. We were astounded at the apathy and unprofessional conduct at this store. Two weeks later, although a driver has returned the dryer to the store, we still do not have all of our money back as the refund has been botched twice! And to top it off, we've had to deal with horrendous attitude problems with store personnel, particularly Carol, who hasn't even had the class to apologize. We've made our last purchase at Lowe's in Conroe and have closed our account. But we are enjoying our new dryer from Home Depot!! read more
