I came in quickly to check out the 5 gallon water jugs. Completely sold out. And I knew they would be. There's a cold front coming and everyone is thinking February 2021 ice storm. I thought maybe they would have some, but, sadly, I missed out. While I was there, thought I would walk around a little. Noticed their Christmas items are already at 75% off. Yup, a few days before Christmas, they are clearanced deeply. Maybe they need to make room for Fourth of July items. Retail loves to move on to the next major holiday. Anyway. This location is a great location. It's a shopping center next to another shopping center. Lots of shops, and restaurants. Huge parking lot. I didn't see any employees on the floor for any kind of assistants or anything. Seemed like a quiet Thursday morning at Lowe's .

Funny how when you really need service no one is available. I was seeking Christmas items and trees. So there I was in a hurry for a party to throw and my boyfriend and I was stunned when we were seeking help to buy a large tree for our place. So we waitedcahs walked all over the store and seems only three people working at Lowes incall we saw. I felt like leaving and going to buy a tree elsewhere. The lights for Christmas tree was a little higher than most areas so I decided to do online shopping. Lowes needs an over haul in there store. We were so disappointed hoping they improved in any areas but nothing gave me incentive to return. I hope management read this review to mobilize the loss of money a customer really wants to spend in there business. Will not recommend this location. I felt they have so much to offer especially nice selection of outdoor furniture.

Oh boy, stay away from a certain "Norman" in Appliances. After spending an hour installing an induction stovetop we were assured by both Samsung and Lowe's reps "It will fit!", the glass was an 1/8" smaller, on the left and right. We approached Norman and he immediately started walking away from the desk. I said Hi and that I just had a couple of questions. One was about a feature of a stovetop they sell and the second was about exact measurements of cutout minimums and maximums. Then the abuse, snide retorts and put-downs began. "You should read the description before coming here", "we are not installers, so we don't know what you are talking about", "your cutout is too small" (our cutout is in fact bigger that the minimum), and finally "you cannot get the credit card 20% off because the stovetop you want is already on sale". That was just false, if you sign up for the Lowe's credit card, 20% discount is applied as long as the associate scans a barcode they have on a card at their desks. I asked for a more knowledgeable associate. "Sorry, I am the only one here", came the quick reply. Then he started filling out the order on his terminal. I had to stop him. We went to the front but they declined to ring us up. The lady says: "Oh, that just old Norman, that's just the way he always is with everybody". So we contacted one of the managers. She knew about Norman and assigned us Ms. Gloria. Gloria was pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. She made quick work of ordering our stovetop and scheduling a delivery in a day or two. It came today with no issues. To finish it off, Norman managed to follow us to the exit, and as we made our way to our car in the parking lot, he yells out: " Have a good day... Byyyyeee, Take care now..." In conclusion, if you need to buy any appliance from Lowe's at Bee Cave, TX, and you see "Norman" at the desk, we suggest that you run for your life.

all this holiday decor and I still didn't find what I wanted :(

Went by today to check out a particular brand of refrigerator. I had previously worked by phone…read morelast week with Ryan and found him to be most responsive. Literally he returned my call within 3 minutes. Today was his day off, but I told him I would be in the area and he said it was fine to go by and take a look so I did. I went in and I acknowledged the staff without them acknowledging me at all. It's a really small showroom, not a megastore. I found the two models I was looking for quickly on my own and took pictures and measurements of each. I then walked around the showroom looking for more models but also half expecting someone to approach. That's when it got really weird. No one approached me at all. I literally left with no human interaction. There were employees in the store and there were a couple of customers. It seemed that there was more of a coffee klatch going on than actual business. So other than for appliance pictures and measurements and a couple of pieces of candy from their candy dish, I didn't get much out of the experience. Something else to mention. It's not clear whether this business is Ferguson or Harway. The building sign says Harway but the reserved parking signs say Ferguson. Is Harway a Ferguson company or is Ferguson a Harway company? There's only one business at this address but it seems to be having an identity crisis. (Update: Ferguson acquired Harway in January 2024, but, as of this writing in late March 2025, still hasn't rebranded anything other than the parking signs out front). Sorry, Ryan. You seemed awesome but your team members totally let you down today. I definitely see no value in spending money at what I thought was a local business that has been bought out by a national company and doesn't have anyone willing to help you when you walk in presale.

It was a long process but it was all worth the wait and the customer service, personalized service…read moreI received from Harway was second to none! I recently moved to Texas to build a dream home and decided to splurge on all the appliances. The builders I worked with suggested a big name appliance company here in Austin but they were incredibly difficult to deal with. Although I was going to spend more than $50k in appliances, the person at Ferguson would never return emails or phone calls. I was interested in the Wolf/Sub Zero lines and Harway came up as an authorized dealer so I decided to give them a try. My initial contact was with Dustin who was incredibly helpful from the first time we spoke all the way through delivery and installation. I had a general idea of the different appliances I wanted and Dustin was incredibly helpful making sure I picked out all the items I wanted. Their prices were essentially the same as the other appliance store, but the customer service at Harway is unparalleled. When I would call, Dustin would answer immediately or call back within minutes if he couldn't get to the phone. He always responded to emails in a very timely manner and for every concern or issue I had, he managed it flawlessly. Because of the backlog going on with just about everything, I went and ordered all of my appliances one year out from the estimated completion date of my new home. Initially it seemed most items would come in close to the completion date but the major items, refrigerator and grill, were going to come in later. And unfortunately, month after I had placed my order, I discovered I had missed the outdoor grill and cabinets and had to place another order. It was much later than the original order so I wasn't sure if I was going to get them before the house was finished. This would have been a problem since the grill had to be built into the house. No surprise, the house build kept getting delayed and delayed. And the appliances actually came in before the house was finished which was great since we were concerned if they were delayed it would hold up completion of the house. Unfortunately, we couldn't take delivery but Harway was amazing and just stored the items for us and there were ten major appliances. The other Austin appliance store was not going to store if the items came in and we weren't ready. Harway must have held the items for a month before the house was ready for them to be installed. But when the time came, they scheduled the entire installation and everything (refrigerator, range, wine reefer, ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, two warming drawers, an outdoor grill and ventilation hood) were all installed in one day! They also helped me find a company that built a custom duct for range vent because of our high ceilings. And for any issue, they were so quick to respond. And the biggest surprise of all, was getting ALL of the appliances. We were originally told it would be a month or two after we moved in before we got the range and refrigerator. But Christmas came early and we received all the appliances on the same day! And given all the appliances, the only issue was just a tiny little rubber stopper on the outdoor grill missing which they had someone come out and replace within days. If you are in need of a single appliance or outfitting an entire home as we did... you won't find a better place than Harway. And I'm sure everyone who works here is amazing, I can't say enough great things about Dustin! He will give you Five Star treatment and will not stop taking care of you until everything is to your satisfaction.

His repairman installed a part that it turned out we didn't need. We still paid for the labor to have this tiny part taken out of an older model on their lot, installed and un-installed in our refrigerator, but asked for a refund for the $250 part. He asked us to send it back to him, as his crew left it here. We sent it back, and paid for the shopping. He has not refunded a penny. Every time I contact him, he asks the same question, "Did you send it back?" This is obviously a stalling tactic, as he has asked this question repeatedly and the the answer is right above in the text thread. He also knows us well enough to know we are trustworthy people. After 5 months and countless texts, and as I am a fair person, I let him know that I would publish a negative review as of this week if I hadn't heard from him. A4L: A Budget-Friendly Option for Quality Appliances and Service…read moreI recently visited Appliances 4 Less Austin after purchasing an older home. I spent most of my money fixing up the house so my budget for appliances is limited. I'm so happy that I found what I needed within my budget at A4L. I highly recommend this store for anyone shopping on a budget and don't want to suffer quality. What I Loved: 1. Affordable Prices: The biggest draw is, of course, the discounts. Many items were priced significantly lower than big-box retailers, even with the crazy Black Friday sales going on. The reason for the low price is mostly because those appliances are open box items. Some of the items may have minor cosmetic damages such as a dent. The store run tests on them to make sure they are fully functional. Those appliances are under the manufacturer warranty, and I believe A4L also offers warranty. 2. Knowledgeable Staff: The sales associates were friendly, helpful and well-informed about the products. Michael, the store owner, helped me evaluate the pros and cons of each options and we decided on the refrigerator, washer and the dryer that are not only beautiful but also functional for my family's needs. 3. Fast Delivery: The store offered delivery, which was a huge plus for me. What to consider: 1. Cosmetic Flaws: like I mentioned earlier, some of the discounted items had minor scratches or dents. While these didn't impact functionality, it's something to consider if aesthetics are important. 2. Variety of brands: while there is a decent selection of good brands such as LE and Samsung, you may not have as large of selection as those big box retailers. Verdict: A4L is an excellent place for anyone looking to save money on appliances without sacrificing quality. While the trade-off may be minor cosmetic issues, the savings are worth it. I'll definitely return for future purchases!

The people were nice and it seemed to go smoothly. When I got to the store the dryer was packaged up in clear cellophane. I could see the few scratches it had,,,,everything seemed ok. I went to pay for it and they rounded up to $450, I did not say anything, no big deal. The floor help was nice and helped me load the dryer and even got me extra cardboard to protect it. I got home and removed the cellophane and to my surprise my wife said it is used! There was lent in the trap. After removing the screen there was hair and dirt on the inside. This was a used dryer, not just a scratch and dent. The price I paid was for a brand new dryer with some scratches, this dryer should have been cheaper for having been used for no telling how long. If you do business here,,,,,Caveat emptor, let the buyer beware!!!!!!

As we prepare to move to our new home, we need to pick a new refrigerator. I may also have some lifecycle replacements to do at my present home before it goes on to its next life. I called and spoke with Elliott by phone. He was super to work with in the phone, so I decided to make a run out to see things in person. I will admit, it's a long drive--and I live in far southwest Austin. But the reward you get is a nicely outfitted showroom full of appliances at all price and decor levels. I met up with Elliott and he was just as friendly in person and took the time to listen to my needs and try to match me up with appliances that fit my requirements and budget. Forget the big box stores and their games. While I did not buy that day, I know exactly where I'm going for my purchases. I may not buy everything discussed, but this place is my go-to. Recommended.
