I went to home depot to get some items I needed especially cocking with stain for my door. So good luck trying to get somebody to help you because no one is ever around the person at the paint department was not even there I was very disappointed and I just had to select whatever I could find. It would always help me if I had somebody to assist me I could have bought a lot more items for my door and caulking the outside of my door and keeping my door looking great. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. As I was looking for someone to assist me over and over there was seem to be no one around only 1 Cashier. So as I have So I have valued so many times I have attended and trying to search for items I needed it is incredible to find What I am seeking. I recommend finding someone if you are looking for something in the paint department because I made the wrong choice because of the color. I will never spend another cent at Home Depot again and now make it a life's goal to ruin their reputation until it **Insert every curse and derogation possible outside of Yelp** I paid for tools online to fix my home bathroom with next day delivery to the store. The next day I received the drill bits with none of the tools. No big deal I thought, I have 2 days to spare... Home Depot left me with no good options A.) Pay someone to do it for me (too expensive and why I bought the tools) B.) Go without a bathroom (avoidable with a little customer service) They have the items I need (and paid for) in stock at 3 different locations nearby and I'm told to wait 11 days for my "next day delivery." I could drive 20 minutes and have it in my hands but Home Depot won't allow it. Maybe try changing your "Customer Service" desk to the Office of Bureaucracy. There is no logical reason for this crap. I joke with my husband that we should own Home Depot stock for as often as we go to the Bee Cave Home Depot. Lucky for us, most of the employees are really kind and helpful. Our dog loves getting to go and it appears that the other dogs love going there, too. If you have been to a Home Depot, you know that the prices are comparable to their competitors. Well this location is convenient for a number of job sites, I will say it fails to consistently stock the supplies that I need. I brought this to the attention of the manager and have had mixed results so far. The lumber supply is sometimes lacking depending on the season. Some years ago, I bought a small Ryobi chainsaw at Home Depot. We did not use it very much and when in need, we have help from gardeners. After some windy weather and branches broken off the tree, we needed to use the saw. Unfortunately, after cranking the saw, it would stutter and die. We took the chainsaw to several places in Austin but nobody would want to work on it, stating that they work on all the other name products but not on Home depots Ryobis. I am a very frequent customer of The Home Depot. I live halfway between the Four Points location and the Bee Cave location, but have always preferred Bee Cave...until recently. The Bee Cave location, oddly enough, has certain items that Four Points doesn't have in stock. It has a better selection of things I shop for and up until recently, it had better customer service. In the last two weeks, I have been to the Bee Cave location over 7 times...never once being asked if I needed assistance and having multiple employees walk past me, block the aisle as they sat and talked to one another and wouldn't move, let alone ask me if I needed anything. My last two visits, I was an arms length away from two employees, in the tool aisle, as they complained about dealing with customers and their idiotic requests. One of the same employees almost walked into me, as he was texting and walking, but still not any request to help me, not an excuse me for not watching what he was doing. As stated, my visits have been multiple, but I've continued to spend my hard earned money...online. Yes, after all of the extremely poor customer service at this location in Bee Cave, I've gone into the store to look at an item and purchased it elsewhere and I urge others to do the same. For items like lumber that I have to get locally, I either go to another a Home Depot location or Lowe's now...where I'm treated like a valued customer and not ignored or have to listen to store employees complain about the customers. read more

Home Depot is always a crap shoot for me. First of all, they rarely have what I really want. And the stuff you have to settle for is pretty mediocre. Next, when you find someone that can capably answer your question, that's a good experience. I typically find the guy that has zero clue. That was my case the other night. I guess the intelligent staff comes in from 9-5 or is available to contractors. I always come armed with knowledge so I can be buffered against ignorant employees. Good news? Just like everything else in the Bee Cave area, the store is rarely packed and that always makes for a more pleasant experience. I am upgrading this store to 2 stars because I went in yesterday and had two keys cut in less than 2 minutes. They have a machine that does the cutting (no longer do they do it manually) so either they can or they can't do it. The total for my two new keys was $3 at the self checkout. You gotta love quick and cheap solutions and Home Depot does have some. One star for key cutting services! Go HD!!! read more

"Brotha" is how an assistant manager chose to address me today in the store. I guess is should be happy that he halfway listened to what i was saying long enough to assist me with my issue. He did however take up a good chunck of my time wanting to be right as apposed to listening to my issue. This was after calling in and speaking to a manager over the phone. I never thought I would ever be a fan of HD before today. Most locations suck at costumer service and they do not teach their employees how to care for plants so all the plants usually look sick or are dieing. All the plants today looked healthy and beautiful! Something I would buy if that was what I was shopping for. I stopped by this location for some rock. I made a fast stop at the lumber area to inquire if they sold door frames since my foster dog ate my bathroom door frame. Yes was the answer with a fast education on finishing nails and caulking. I was not buying today but I got the info I needed for a future DIY! As I walked through the store to my destination I was approached by over 5 employees asking if I needed help (unheard of at most Home Depots). On the way to check out with what I came for I found the most beautiful orchid for only 16.98! will post a pic after I pot it up.... A couple days before I had looked at Whole Foods who usually has an awesome selection of orchids and they only had 3 Philodendrons that looked like they would not last another week. The orchids at this HD mostly still had a ton of healthy buds yet to open! Oh and they are dog friendly! I saw 2 different couples shopping with their dogs with employees asking to greet the dogs! I don't write many reviews but this employee Michelle was just an absolute piece of work. She gave us grumpy looks, an attitude, and looked at all us like trash. She was generally unpleasant and rude. looks like some other employees were asking her questions so if she's in a supervisor position I feel for the employees as I actually saw her yell, scold, and give an attitude to other employees for nothing at all when I was standing right next to them in the same aisle. Best experience I have ever had at a Home Depot! My fiancé and I just closed on our first condo and were shopping for a new toilet, bathtub, and drain. Brad in customer service was rude and prejudice! He talked down to us when returning a fan that was unopened. We purchased a fan online and we installed one in our kids room. We soon realized that the second one we had ordered for our master that was identical was going to be too small for our high ceiling. When we returned the fan not only did he not greet us and asked us what we wanted, he spoke down to my husband and I. Then asked us what was the problem and where did we buy it. Then asked if we opened it or if it was broken but in a rude manner uncalled for. We live close to this home Depo but I will not be coming to this location anymore. She worked with Leonard who was behind the customer service desk to come to a resolution in my customer service problem regarding a water softener that was installed.
