The Food Lion in Advance, NC has been completely remolded and has everything you need and great quality of their product without having to run into the Walmart in Clemmons NC., Walmart for their prices are just in line with them as well to even more weekly specials that you need to stock up on that can't be beaten by their price. The store is always busy but with all lanes open and someone available you never have to wait and no self checkout is needed in this store for you are in and out and on you way home in no time at all!!! The men and women that work there as well are very friendly and more than accommodating to help you in any way they can, to help find something, questions about an item to showing the next weeks flyer in advance, just to give you a heads up as well! The chickpeas were plentiful, but were without much taste, even when the dressing was applied, because the dressing was very bland, as was the feta cheese. The pepperoni was simply not edible, no matter how much you chewed it stayed intact. Nothing about this salad came together. Very disappointing!

The funny part about them closing early tonight when we stopped by at 8:45 PM to get a couple things (they close at 9PM per their sign) was that an employee has illegally parked his car in front with no one in it, store employees were still inside and we weren't the only people trying to stop in. I had a previous review showing the mess this store can be. It's been better for short periods of time but overall is just poorly run. Most people o know will drive up the road to a location closer to Mockesville or Clemmons. If sales have been down here it's because the community has tired of this location and the effort they have put forth for multiple years. Avoid if you can - Better places to stop - this location really doesn't care. 6 year opinion - change my mind.

Aldi's has most everything you need to stock a basic kitchen, fridge and freezer. The store is clean and the staff is friendly. Save yourself some money and give this place a try. Don't be afraid of the off-brand items instead of the name brands. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
