They have a good variety that includes soaps and lotions, snacks, sodas, etc. They cut their own meats, and they have some of the best fudge you have ever eaten. They give samples too. Peanut butter fudge won me over and I had to have walnut too. The salted carmel cookies at the checkout were a last minute add on and they are totally worth the price. Salty, sweet, crunchy and chewy pieces too. So delicious. The Pimento cheese was a must have and we ate most of it with crackers as soon as I got home.i should have bought the biggest container they had. I'm looking forward to the ground sausage and link sausage and country ham on some biscuits. They have pasta made by The Past Wench. I'm excited to try that also. I was totally unaware of its existence if not for a friend who told me about it. It was Thursday and I was informed that wine was half price at their little bar area so I came in to see what the place was all about and have a wine. When you walk in the first thing that you see is the refrigerators with all the take and bake foods and sundry groceries that you can purchase. As you get further into the store, you see the little bar where you can order wine, beer, or coffee drinks, as well as a small smattering of tables and chairs to enjoy your beverage of choice. I met some new people while I was there which made me feel very welcome and it is a place that I will want to frequent when I'm in the area. There are many specials going on at this little store and bar. I believe on Wednesdays. They have a special on beer prices to go or to drink there in the little café and there are other specials most days. Be sure to stop in and check the little store out and if you're looking for a full meal, all you have to do is walk around the corner and visit the diamondback grill or buy one of the takeout dinners in Buie's refrigerators. I went early on a Saturday morning, beating the crowds and apparently even some of the vendors. I eventually settled on one, to buy a basket of apples from, and was pretty happy with the value buying direct from the source. In addition to fruits and veggies the open air market has vendors offering many other items liked baked goods, plants and flowers, and much more. Obviously a little later in the morning there would be more vendors, but I was on a mission, i knew what I needed, and I was on my way. The farmers market is open year round, though come colder months the vendor selection may be much smaller, but still worth checking out Always good to support local, and buy direct from the source, when you have the chance

If I could give negative stars I would…read more So, my two most recent experiences...first being the visit, wherein the store was so overloaded, the line wrapped the entire front end. No management showed up to help direct. And no additional registers were opened. The second being the online I placed, where one of the items was unavailable. I had opted in for text alerts...no alert came for the missing item. No email. No call. No warning. I showed up to the store expecting my items, only to be told "I don't know why everyone is ordering these we've been out for days". Between trash tier management, a subpar at best website, and atrocious customer service....this company has lost my money entirely. I hope to see you go under like Lowes did. I'll be there with fireworks when it happens.

The Old Mill of Guilford is a fun stop if you bake bread, enjoy historic places, or just appreciate…read morea picturesque setting. Established in 1767, the mill is still operating today, which makes it feel like more than just a tourist stop. When we entered, a woman greeted us and explained how the mill works. After that, we headed into the shop, where they had all kinds of flours and baking mixes. I was impressed by how reasonable the prices were and ended up buying a few different flours to try at home. It was a simple but really enjoyable stop, and I'm glad we took the time to visit.
