This bakery is so cute. You walk in and it's like una panadería de pueblo pequeño en México. Every place you look is so well thought out and adds to the fun decor. The pastries are excellent. We loved the chocolate burger and almond croissant. The staff are warm and knowledgeable although I'm not sure the red filling on chocolate burger was dye free as suggested. I absolutely love Dulce aroma! They have so many fresh pastries all of which look yummy! I usually choose the small chocolate croissant, and the spinach one. They are soft and very tasty! The spinach one has spinach and some type of creamy cheese sauce on a flaky, soft pastry. The chocolate one is a smallish with dark chocolate on the inside. The dark chocolate is rich and bold, and never too sweet. I also ordered an iced mocha latte made with oat milk, which is my go to wherever espresso based gourmet Coffee drinks are sold. I got the 16 ounce oat milk and asked to how many shots of espresso it has and to my dismay and disappointment The barista told me that it only had one... However, to add an additional shot there would be no extra cost. Of course, knowing that made up for the fact that the 16 ounce only has one shot. Of course I added an additional shot. The mocha latte was very flavorful, and not too sweet as I could really taste the richness of the espresso. My only complaint about it is that it wasn't cold as it should've been. Other than that it was absolutely positively delicious! The barista and the cashier and the other employee were so kind and helpful as I had questions. If you haven't been to Dulce aroma on Peter's Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem you're definitely missing out! They always have lively Mexican music playing in the background, adding to the cool and lovely vibe of this wonderful bakery! It's bright and Will organized as well. The prices are also reasonable. Each pastry has a different price For example, my chocolate croissant was $2.99 and my spinach one was $3.99. I love the variety that I find every time I visit here. There's cookies, fruit filled pastries similar to hand pies, muffins, various concha's, various croissants, macarons, tres leches, cake slices, dulce de leche cookies, and some savory pastries. If it's a wide array of things you're looking for, then this is the right place. It's also one of the cleanest places I've seen for panderias. It's a cafe and very cozy and cute inside. Stopped in for the first time yesterday, and we will be back! Wow!! The variety of selection of sweet breads alone, but they also have savory breads...and cakes...and coffee/teas!! The space is also so clean and bright inside, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming! There was indeed a sweet aroma upon walking in, and I love truth in advertising! The prices, at least on the sweet breads, were great on this visit as well, with their most expensive item being like $3-4. We spent $30 in total and got a big box filled with huge pastries, which are already gone because I'm fat. Guess I'll be back pretty soon! read more

First time here. Went about 30 minutes before close and they still had out such a wide variety of pastries. Mexican based bakery. The employees were so sweet, patient, and helpful. Both ladies explained everything to us and gave us recommendations. The only thing that was confusing was where/how to get your pastries. You have to use tongs provided and put the pastries you want on a platter and bring everything to the counter to checkout. The seating area itself was adorable and everyone was so kind and welcoming! The food was amazing. The variety of pastries, drinks, and coffees was impressive. We got a Nutella filled croissant, a chocolate and pecan covered croissant, a cinnamon roll, some m&m donuts, a chorizo filled roll, and a few other things. I got a drink called a champurrado.
