There were quite a few bits of cooked egg throughout the pasta and there was also hardly any cheese. Instead of a rich, creamy Carbonara flavor, the pasta just didn't have much flavor. I also got the Pineapple and Coconut Entremet. It was good but there wasn't really anything special about it. It was essentially the same coconut crémeux that they've used before, with pineapple. I've tried quite a few of their entremets at this point so maybe that's part of the reason I felt that way. If they come out with a new flavor of crémeux though, I'll definitely want to try it! I didn't get the Iced Mocha Latte this time but that was because the last time I ordered one, I couldn't taste any mocha at all. Even the color looked different. It looked more like a regular latte. I went back and asked if it was actually a mocha and I was told that it was but I honestly didn't think it was. I've had their Iced Mocha Latte many times so I know how it looks and what it normally tastes like. I also haven't seen the person who used to make the lattes anymore. I really loved the ones he made and hope he still works there! There seem to be so many new faces every time we visit now and I rarely see anyone who used to work there. Fast forward to the day of the event, and unfortunately her delivery driver was hit while headed to our drop-off. Causing irreparable damage to a portion of our order. The bakery called us immediately, and then went into action and in a flash worked furiously to remake as many of the cookies as possible in order to fulfill as much of our order as they could. The cookies that arrived were gorgeous, tasted delicious and although it was less than we had expected, they were amazing! This event was highlighting the release of a new door knob, and the cookies shaped as a door, with the knob on them were spot on! Then, before we even contacted them to discuss the shortages, the company had refunded me for what we didn't receive and sent us a gift certificate for a future purchase.
