Visually the items were the same, perhaps a little paler in color for some things like the scones. We each chose a pot of tea -- I went with an almond one and later got an included refill of a different variety, a chocolate raspberry, and both were knock your socks off amazing. Service was just attentive enough, and even the picky eater seemed to enjoy everything.

You do make a deposit if you are doing a tea service. I decided to go here for a Mother's Day tea lunch. We had the full tea service and my son had a child's tea. The interior is cute and I love how all of the China is mismatched. They have a large selection of teas and I chose a rose flavor. It was excellent with just the right amount of floral notes. My son had the birthday cake which had a nice vanilla aroma. Everyone gets their own pot, which is neat. They change their menu every month, but I think my favorites for the May tea, were the tomato sandwich and vanilla scone. The table was set with individual jars of clotted cream. We ordered cucumber sandwiches which were beautiful and tasty. Our server was very sweet. We plan to come back, especially for mom related celebrations.

There is not one single thing in this store that I have tried that wasn't delicious. Do not be afraid to ask questions if you are a gringo and only speak English; most of the store personnel have a decent command of English, but it's actually more fun if you converse with them in Spanish and try to learn to pronounce the different baked goods by NAME! To be sure, there are familiar items such as chocolate chip cookies, elephant ears, cakes, and the like-but I would encourage anybody who's not tried delicious Hispanic bakery flavor to try something new. This is as close to the look, taste and overall feel of a genuine Panadería in any of the Latin countries I've ever been to. The sensation that I get when I walk through the door knowing that I'm going to get some delectable pastries and baked goods is addictive. I would recommend this to anyone wanting quality baked goods at a decent price and with an atmosphere that's as close as you'll get this side of the border.

I highly recommend this bakery.

I cannot stand when a cheesecake has a crust thin as paper -- give me a thick graham cracker crust with texture and balance. The dynamics of each bite when it's made that way are unmatched. Ironically, I didn't even order cheesecake this visit, but after seeing theirs, I already know I'll be back for it. I started with cookies because I couldn't decide what I wanted, and every single one was delicious. The oatmeal cream pie cookie was amazing, the ooey gooey chocolate chip cookie lived up to its name, and the walnut chocolate chip cookie was perfection. I also grabbed a pup cupcake for my dog, and he inhaled it in about 2.5 seconds, so clearly that was a hit too. The customer service was as sweet as pie. The inside was spotless, smelled incredible, and felt so warm and welcoming. Spacious seating, rocking chairs out front, beautiful decor -- everything felt intentional. The whole place has such comforting, happy vibes. This is more than just a dessert spot. It's an experience. The quality, presentation, atmosphere, and overall care really stand out. I'll absolutely be back to try more things, and honestly, I'm even considering talking to them about doing my gender reveal cake because the vibe and quality were that good. Must visit. Must walk inside. Must treat yourself.

I was pretty taken aback by how many dessert options they had. Not only did they have a plethora of types of desserts, but they had sooo many flavors/varieties of each one. A dozen different variations of cheesecakes, several cupcake varieties, a dozen different kinds of macarons, several different cakes, tiramisu, tres leches, banana pudding, edible cookie dough, more cookies than I could name, brownies, eclairs, and more that I'm sure I have forgotten. If you can name it, I'm sure they have it. I've been looking for somewhere nearby to get a proper macaron (as opposed to a hard, macaron shaped cookie without the traditional texture) at a reasonable price point. This definitely met those criteria, so of course we tried a flower shaped macaron. It had the perfect, delicate cookie and that classic, light almondy flavor. We also had a brownie batter cookie, which was delicious and reminds me of something I would have saved on Pinterest a decade ago but never gotten around to making, much less as well as they do. Though there was a line inside, we were served super quickly by friendly staff, and found a nice seat outside in the sun. They also had abundant indoor seating. Maybe I'm the last one to hear about Sweet Dough and everyone else has been a fan, or maybe it's a true hidden gem. Either way, I will 100% be back.
