We stumbled upon this bakery on a whim when walking around the parking lot looking at other things. Even though we were about to go eat dinner, we stopped in for a treat. I was pretty taken aback by how many dessert options they had. Not only did they have a plethora of types of desserts, but they had sooo many flavors/varieties of each one. A dozen different variations of cheesecakes, several cupcake varieties, a dozen different kinds of macarons, several different cakes, tiramisu, tres leches, banana pudding, edible cookie dough, more cookies than I could name, brownies, eclairs, and more that I'm sure I have forgotten. If you can name it, I'm sure they have it. I've been looking for somewhere nearby to get a proper macaron (as opposed to a hard, macaron shaped cookie without the traditional texture) at a reasonable price point. This definitely met those criteria, so of course we tried a flower shaped macaron. It had the perfect, delicate cookie and that classic, light almondy flavor. We also had a brownie batter cookie, which was delicious and reminds me of something I would have saved on Pinterest a decade ago but never gotten around to making, much less as well as they do. Though there was a line inside, we were served super quickly by friendly staff, and found a nice seat outside in the sun. They also had abundant indoor seating. Maybe I'm the last one to hear about Sweet Dough and everyone else has been a fan, or maybe it's a true hidden gem. Either way, I will 100% be back. read more

Pretty incredible bakery with an amazing selection of sweets. When we came in on a Saturday evening it was quiet, but by the time we left there was a long line of people coming to pick up treats. There is just about everything you could imagine that is baked - from cupcakes to rice crispy treats to fancy cookies. I had a creme brûlée macaron that was incredible, and a I took home a peanut butter bar for later. It smells great in there and the decor is cute. There are a few tables to enjoy your treats before you go. There are also plenty of fancy coffee drinks available. Definitely worth a visit if you love baked goods. read more

The first time I went to Sweet Dough and walked through the doors, I was hit in the face with the most AMAZING smell of treats. I hope this is what heaven smells like. I have probably gone to Sweet Dough close to a dozen times, most of the time with my toddler, teenage athletes that I coach, or my husband, and no one that I know has ever left disappointed. The desserts are phenomenal. I can personally attest to the great quality of various cakes, banana pudding, bars, cookies, macarons, cheesecake, and the cinnamon buns OH MY GOSH. The prices are very reasonable and most of the servings are awesome! It's also a great hangout spot for a small group. I had team bonding with my volleyball team there last year; we played board games and just kept getting more desserts and coffee! In fact, I need to get out that way and get some more dessert (I'm getting hungry as I type!). The staff are friendly and give good recommendations, and I have never had to wait for food. read more

Oh my God I'm so happy to swing by here after leaving Texas Roadhouse. I really want something sweet, I didn't find anything I wanted on their dessert menu. But this place right here! I ordered four macaroons they were $3 each I got the lavender,creme brulee, pistachio and Earl Gray (unique flavor had to try it). If you know me you know I love me so macaroons. I also love Rice krispie treats and they had a s'more version. I couldn't leave that behind. I did try the creme brulee macaroon as soon as I got home there's actually some filling inside. The macaroons were baked perfectly and melts in your mouth has a great texture I am very pleased. Pretty sure the rest of the macaroons are going to be delicious. I brought some of my friends to this awesome bakery after a brunch for coffee and dessert on a Sunday afternoon. Upon walking in we noticed how wonderfully decorated the inside was and drawn in by the smells of the heavenly aromas filling the air. Oh boy! I love that this bakery is in a convenient spot on 68 and their space is soooo cute. Especially all decorated for Christmas. It didn't fail to deliver because the taste lived up to the scent. I grabbed a few goodies to taste a little of everything-the key lime pie was amazing. Not a lot of people can master allowing the key lime taste to shine through and it was powerful without being overwhelming. The Graham cracker crust was the perfect blend of crispness, sweetness, and crumbled perfectly. The Cruffin (cross between a croissant and a muffin) was so buttery and smooth. It would be the perfect compliment to a warm coffee. The chocolate cake was decadent, smooth, and flavorful. The cinnamon bun was great and the icing-AMAZING! How am I just hearing about this place? We came in after a dinner night out and WOW. Ice cream, cheese cake, pie, dirt cake, macaron, bars, cake, a HOT CASE? PUP CUPCAKES? After coming to the conclusion that we would be back and soon, we were helped by two very sweet young ladies who didn't make us feel rushed or silly when we asked questions. They took care of us quickly and we didn't get completely won over by the sticky bun (and I regret not getting one and bringing it home because I can still smell how incredible it was!!!!). Lemon blueberry cheese cake and blueberry cloud cake won us over: the cheesecake was delicious creamy, cream cheese forward, a slight lemon tang and a great blue berry topping. As for the goods, the selection is tremendous. Borderline overwhelming, really. We got the fluffer nutter, blondie, red velvet cheesecake, strawberry cupcake, and pecan sticky bun as pictured. I think the sticky bun was the best thing, and I really enjoyed the candied pecans on top and was shamelessly lapping up the extra sauce at the bottom! Bathroom was very clean too. Prices varied between reasonable and slightly higher than I was willing to pay. Macarons are a lot of work and were beautiful, but $3 each was too much for me. Easily the size of my face, and you can pick from icing or cream cheese frosting...I went cream cheese, and my girlfriend and I shared it yesterday for breakfast and again today!
