Everything else was great, but I'm really upset about the half-gallon of sweet tea I received today. It tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for two weeks, and I even found some mold in it. If you're looking for a half-gallon of sweet tea, don't expect to get a fresh one. Go to Chick-fil-A and get a whole gallon instead. This place should shut down! Oof. Two stars is gracious for this review. Hubby went for to go breakfast two weekends ago and went inside to order. He reported the lady at the register was rude to the customers before and after him. She informed him supremes are a lunch only food and he cannot order for breakfast (not sure when this happened-he always orders supremes for breakfast at this and other locations). He pivoted and ordered other foods, asked for dipping sauce and she told him they only come with supremes and he must pay (even though he ordered other meals). He got the food (he should've checked before leaving) but our bags were missing two orders of fries. I tried to call, but the lady who answered the phone was yelling at other employees then coming back to the phone saying she cannot hear me. I love me some Bojangles (I read they're coming back to FL). On a recent road trip through NC, I found myself hungry AF and decided the best fast food Mac n' Cheese was going to help satisfy my hunger. I saw signs when I arrived for their Chicken Sandwich so I ordered that. Their Mac N Cheese reminds me of the Canned Franco American Mac N Cheese which is something I absolutely loved as a kid. They don't make it anymore (same with Little Debbie Spice Cakes) but the noodles were large, the sauce was creamy, and if I saw in the store, I'd go off the wagon and load up my cart. Delicious. The Chicken Sandwich was crispy, moist, and didn't slide apart when eating it (it had 'tegrity). The pickles added the flavor that every other chicken sandwich place is doing, but it was good. It was a quick in-and-out stop and I was back on the road in no time. The lady working the counter was super friendly and accommodating, the food came out quick, and it was all fresh and delicious. The Bo was slammed with customers this morning, especially in the drive thru, so I decided to walk in and place my order. Doing so showed me why the line outside was so long: there were only three people working in there on a Saturday morning. So any delays probably couldn't be helped, and thus I will not complain about delays. After all, it was clear the staff were working at full capacity. They just need more help. But let me say this: for whatever reason, most of the Bojangles locations in the Winston area turn out some pretty disappointing biscuits. They're too brown, and they lose their flakiness and moisture. Other Bojangles outside the immediate area don't have this issue. And neither does the Bermuda Run location, I learned this morning. The biscuits were just right. If an overwhelmed kitchen staff can still get this correct, why does every Bojangles with a Forsyth County address fail at it? Don't give these idiots one cent of your hard earned money. As you see, they did not honor a deal that is plastered on their windows. They said this deal does not exist and even after acknowledging its existence and taking my card, nothing was offered to give me any money back that was snookered. Not only have I complained to corporate twice in the last week (as this has happened twice in the last week) and have received absolutely no response either time (even past the holidays); I have filed a complaint with the BBB. Stopped here in Advance while moving for a new job in the NC mountains. Was in line to order for close to 10 minutes with 2 cars in front of me. I ordered a chicken supreme combo. May have been because it was late (the Zaxby's closed at 7 so that's considered late here), but I was given some very small chicken pieces. They also forgot my honey mustard. Biscuits don't appear to be made by any "master biscuit maker" - flat and crumbly isn't my definition of masterful. And last, but by no means least, the fries have been warm at best - and not the least bit crispy. To pay $1.49 for a small (and I mean s-m-a-l-l), I expect steaming hot. The lady behind the counter offered to take our order and quickly gave suggestions once she found out we were first-timers. It went quiet for a while (which again, understandable) and then she said "is that it." I am very dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism at this establishment. I drove by the restaurant the other day, and saw the poorly worded roadside sign, which stated "biscuits limited time" Well, as bojangles is "FAMOUS" for chicken and biscuits, I was understandably immediately alarmed. I made a stop at the store, and went inside to inquire concerning the matter. I asked a "manager" if biscuits indeed were a limited time only item. I received an odd look and a "no." I informed this person of the fault in the sign by the road. Up until recently this has been a choice for us to pick up some good eats on the way through the 'corner'. It was always fresh, piping hot, and very accurate on order fulfillment. On occasion could even enjoy entertainment from some of the local musicians. I am not sure if the location had a change of ownership or management but the past 3 times has been dead,the biscuits were rock hard, chicken supremes and boberry biscuits felt hard and barely warm...almost as if they had been sitting under a warmer all day as they were a very dark orange/brown.
