I got my husband the Philly cheesesteak crepe and I'm not going to lie, I wish I had ordered one for myself! I got the Dubai chocolate crepe for my daughter and I to share and it was amazing! I should have gotten my own because I could have eaten the whole thing myself. (Well, maybe not, they are good sized portions.) I also tried a sushi style crepe or their Thai chicken and it was delicious! 10/10. If I lived closer we'd be here all the time.

Quite often we end up going other places for an after dinner treat. Almost every time we've watched people walk in at the last moment and walk up to a locked door. You're clearly losing business. This evening we walked in with 15 minutes to spare and got a bit of the stink eye. The girls were friendly enough but they were clearly bummed. They had the ice cream all put away already. Also, it's always freezing in here. Some tables outside would be helpful. We were also bummed that the crème brûlée had hardly any topping. Was it a punishment for coming in at the last minute?

We bought a number of pastries, the three pack of pretzels - Love me some pretzels and a Sourdough round. The baker explained the differences between the two rounds and suggested the ligher one for sandwiches. We got home and the Sourdough round was fresh, delicious and tasted like a Sourdough should, I found it difficult to slice even with a bread knife. Maybe it needs to be sharpened. I found it easier to rip off a piece and used it to mop up sauces from various dishes. The pretzels were excellent. I loved them the most. If I get another Sourdough, I would get one that spent more time in the oven with a crunchier crust even though it may be harder to bite. I would also ask if they rounds could be sliced - not sure if they can do that though. Welcome to the neighborhood Madre Bianca

However I went back the next day because let's face it, I'm always craving baked goods! ;). Well I forgive them for not opening till 11! LOL. This place is AMAZING ! My husband and I shared the lemon curd blueberry pastry and I also got a sourdough loaf and sourdough sandwich bread. I haven't tried the sandwich bread yet but after sharing the pastry I did grab a bite of the loaf and they know how to make sourdough! This is a must try!!

As far as I can tell, it's the only Gelato shop in Boise. Why haven't I come across it before? It's very well hidden where almost nobody would drive past it. It survives on local, nearby employees from their industrial warehouse surroundings. We decided to head over and see what we were missing out on, and learned it only opened a year ago! It's fantastic for numerous reasons...it's cute, modern, spacious, inviting, and they make the best Gelato, European coffee, and sandwiches (think ribeye, meatball, and a half dozen other mouth-watering sandwiches). This Gelateria is very dedicated to it's European roots, and all of food seems to reflect that well. Their Gelato is dreamy, creamy, and delectably delicious. There were three of us, and we ordered the Huckleberry (which had a secret chocolate layer in the middle), the Hazelnut, plus Peanut Butter Cookie gelato, and topped everything off with a very large piece of the Bread Pudding (decadent). They also serve up pastries, European coffee, and even frozen doggy desserts! You can also just get a small Tiramisu dessert to go! We will absolutely be back, especially in this overly hot weather. Take a break and give it a go. I promise, it's worth it! And, yes, dogs are permitted on the outdoors patio, which is also super cute.

Then the drinks, I knew as it was an espresso shop I could not get drip coffee but my husband wanted orange juice and while they have a fresh squeezed orange / carrot juice, it costs 10.00!! He got it, but holy cow that is expensive! We will probably be back to try their waffles and/or sweet crepes, but will bring coffee and OJ from home.

It is definitely worth the drive and the visit. Seating is varied but favors small groups, and does not really accommodate the digital nomad. They offer the usual coffee selections with a few specialty drinks. I had the Butter Latte. Wow! It is basically a toned down bulletproof coffee but with lots of flavor. Service is friendly and personable. Our group was greeted at the door and the staff were happy to offer recommendations. I will be going back the next time I am in Boise.

My son got a mocha and it was a little strong for his liking, so they offered to remake it. Which was so sweet of them. They were truly concerned and wanted to make sure we enjoyed everything. The banana bread and raspberry scone were delicious too. Everything was fresh, the coffee was delicious, and I would go back just for the incredible service and space. It was almost as if there was no flavor at all. Yes, this place will remain popular for a while because our town has been yearning for a quality ice cream shop since Scoops closed. But once the buzz dies down, I recommend that they start offering quality real scooped ice cream in addition to the soft serve. That is, if they can find a way to give those flavors of flavor boost.
