Terrible place and these people are crooks. They have a sign on the window that says 10%. I walked in to clarify and asked if it was 10% off all services and I would bring my mother back with me to get pedicures. They said that would be fine. We came back and waited an hour for service just for my mother's pedicure to be poorly done. Instead of removing the calluses on her heels the worker tried to put oil on. We asked if she could do it again and she did half of a job. Then they charged $57 for the basic pedicure and told me the 10% off is for manicure and pedicure. Run away fast. The man with longer hair is aggressive, rude ; he walked away from my daughter mid service , just got his purse/bag and left the salon. Now, the lady that finished her was lovely. I still give this 1/5 stars d/t the hostility and non professionalism of the man. The vibe was low quality, but for 40$ I guess what can I expect. Definitely will NOT return. A-okay pedicure at Lovely Nails. They were not busy so we got seated right away. I honestly would've never know this nail salon existed if it wasn't for my companion who knew about it and suggested it. Service was pretty fast and the pedicure lasted 20 minutes or so, it was pretty standard nothing special. $30 before tip. Actually, they opened 10 minutes late today, so technically they opened at 12:10, so since I arrived at 11:30, I waited outside in the cold rain for 40 minutes with another nice gentleman only to be told once the opened that we couldn't be seen & to come back later. Unacceptable. Why does there door say walk ins are welcome if they're not? I've been a loyal customer at the nail salon for 6 years. Sadly, today was my last time. Walk ins are NOT welcome so please don't advertise that they are. This is the best nail salon on Indy south side! Same staff members for many years, they are friendly and will talk if you talk to them! Kim did my nails today - had one broken, wanted all of them more squared off, and new polish color -- all that for $10! Of course gave her $10 tip for how awesome they looked. I like how you won't have their little children running around interrupting. I also like what they keep TV on-- once I went to a salon that was showing Science Fiction Network and that was pretty annoying, in my opinion. Walk in always ok, overall best salon! I was greeted very nicely the salon wasn't packed at all so I was a little relieved and then The guy doing my nails acted very rushed and annoyed when I asked simple questions. He didn't give me enough time to explain the length I wanted and practically grabbed my hand and cut one before I could even say anything. Then at one point I watched him pick a whole scab off of his finger I was sitting there like my guy are you for real. I kept asking him through the whole experience when he was going to cut the nails into the shape of a coffin and he kept saying just a minute when I know all of the other salons I've been to cut it when sizing your nail. Speaking of sizing bro, man didn't even bother to size my nails practically grabbed an acrylic and glued it on. I was just sitting there like I-. While he was cutting my nails he was very careless and cut one hand shorter than the other. He then put the acrylic powder on and then cut my nails into coffin which Lowkey was uncomfortable asl. He didn't have me wash my hands till the end as-well so he painted my nails with all the shavings still on my hand. And at the end I tried to tell myself they still look good kinda but the more I look at them I disliked them more, the shortness and how wide the shape is. And they're very loose I won't be surprised if they fall off in a week . After I got a pedicure by a different person thank god and the woman took her time and did a very nice job on my toes I made sure to leave her a good tip for atleast ending my experience there better. I usually go to lovely nails on Southport road because they're prices are affordable and they do a great job but they were closed, I wish I would've waiting a day and got them done there instead ( I recommend coming to the one on Southport it's more updated and more affordable packages ) I will definitely not be coming back anytime soon but I hope the lady that did my toes has a good day everyday. read more

I wanted to like this place because it's close to home and the nail technicians are nice, however the quality of service leaves much to be desired. I came in for a manicure and was seated immediately. Great. Then a man comes out, sits down, no greeting (probably because he was on the phone). He then filed my nails and began one of the worst manicures I've had in a long time. Afterwards I saw that my nails were uneven, cuticles not neatly snipped, gooped on polish. I didn't have time to have him redo them but that's okay, I will never be back... by the way, he stayed on the phone the whole time. read more

My mom and I went here and the girls where nice, but the guy was really rude and didn't even ask what nail shape I wanted. I asked if I could have almond shape and he was upset that I asked to change it even though he didn't ask me. Also they aren't even almond shaped they look stiletto shaped. Only been there once. Location is not in the nicest part of town, but I was there and needed a mani-pedi, so gave them a try. Great customer service, decent prices and my gels have lasted 3 weeks with no sign of chipping or peeling. The pedi was too quick and I didn't get the relaxation feeling you expect from a Pedi and my heels didn't feel as smooth as they usually do, so that's the reason I didn't give them a 5star read more

Staff did not speak, very unfriendly, very unprofessional. I took my daughter to get a mani/pedi and a pedi for myself. I already had a gel pedicure so I didn't need a polish change. The attendant barely did anything. I'm certain she didn't remove ANY dead skin from my heals and the leg massage was pathetic. My 7yr old could do better. Furthermore, my 10 minute pedicure was finished before my daughter's pedi was finished so I asked if I could stay in the chair. I was told that I couldn't because she needed to clean it. There was no one waiting and a full row of empty chairs. What a wretched person! My daughter's nails were not cleaned and there is polish all over her toes and feet.
