I am so happy I found this place through instagram this is such a great concept because who doesn't love dumplings on a bed of rice or noodles! I absolutely enjoyed the food and would easily recommend this place & come back again. there was a ten minute wait on rice so they decided to give my friend and I each an extra dumpling. Ate this at first Friday a couple months ago. I was fairly toasted at the time and this REALLY REALLY hit the spot. It was like time stopped around me, the chaos was silenced.... People were getting arrested for fighting, there were the Palestine protests going down...All that faded away when I was face down into this box of noodles and dumpling, crushing them going to town on a random chair on the curb...it was spiritual. I think about them often, and I hope to make it back soon. read more

Uh no... I ordered on DoorDash. I don't even want to give them the benefit of the doubt that one of the errors was my Dashers fault, because the most unforgivable one was the problem with the food. I ordered two dumpling boxes and a cheesecake. They forgot about my cheesecake. Which I don't even know what to say about that. When you get your mouth ready for cheesecake and it doesn't show up, you feel like you wanna pull your hair out. But the most unforgivable one was they gave me a box with all the fixings, the sauces the noodles and the second box was just dry ass noodles and dry dumplings. I mean??? DoorDash refunded me and the entire purchase and I will absolutely never go back there again. Clearly fixable mistakes and they just said WGAF. read more

Menu is pretty simple. I chose to do just rice as my base. The pink color comes from dragon fruit which doesn't negatively impact the taste at all. I chose to do 3 pork and 2 shrimp dumplings. And for my sauce I mixed all 3 options and went heavy on the sriracha (I love things on the spicy side). Enjoyed the meal very much, the dumplings were soft and yummy. The rice was my personal favorite. Walked in on a weekday afternoon, service was quick and the girl who assembled my meal was very sweet and very outgoing. Important to note that the place is really small so there is no indoor seating. But I love that they keep fur babies in mind and leave a communal water bowl outside for any thirsty pup companions. This is one of those few spots where they don't sacrifice the quality of the food for the aesthetics of the place. It executes both quite well ! read more

What a gem on 116 Roosevelt Street in downtown Phoenix! The service and the convenience of this place is amazing! I've been going here since they opened. My only complaint is since I have been going for a while. I've noticed the dumplings to feel kinda raw and not fully cooked all the way through. Which makes me really sad bc I truly love it. Delicious and fast service. They offer to explain the ordering process for you if you're new to this sort of thing. They also prepare your dish quickly and are happy to answer any questions or provide extra information. The food here is not only tasty but aesthetically pleasing. The dumplings are filling and the rice and noodles are a great pairing (you need to get both). This is a nice casual eat and you get your food really quickly. There is no indoor seating. I got veggie dumplings with rice and noodles, and it lasted me 2 meals. The staff is nice too. read more

Amazing concept that is incredibly well executed! You can't find a better deal for this much food in this area. I was able to try the chicken and noodles (with sriracha and kewpie) as well as the rice and pork (yuzu soy sauce). The pink rice is amazing and the noodles were great. I very much enjoyed everything about Lovebite. While they are not the best dumplings i've ever had, for a fast food sort of restaurant my meal was delicious. The concept in general is really cool and unique, really glad they opened up in downtown Phoenix. The ambiance and packaging is so cute. The service is kind and inviting. I had the veggie dumplings over rice, and got all three sauces. The noodles were super yummy, and the dumplings were great as well. I do recommend getting all 3 sauces as they do go a bit light and I don't think it would have been nearly as good without all of them. The only thing I would suggest is making the dumplings fresh, although I understand that it is more of a fast food joint. I would absolutely recommend Lovebite and will definitely be coming back. read more

Solid 4. I like the efficiency of the set up - walk in, get your food, go outside ... The food was fine. They were low on what was ready so I got the shrimp and veggie on greens with the soy. But beware! The sauce will leak from the super cute boxes - perhaps having a to-go container for the sauce if serving on greens? I like the price for what we get in this area, as well. Definitely liked this place when I stopped in with my friends on a Saturday night. The concept is great. Quick, easy, flavorful. Three of us were in town for work and my one coworker wanted noodles. She found Lovesack and we trusted her instinct. The place is indeed small but that's part of the charm, imo. They provide three bases (rice, greens, noodles), four dumplings (pork, chicken, shrimp, vegetarian), and three sauces (yuzu soy, sriracha, and kewpie). I had the noodles, two pork and three chicken dumplings with the soy sauce. The noodles were small, curly, and multi-colored and delicious. The dumplings were fantastic. I'm no expert but the chicken and pork tasted similar - not a problem to my mouth and belly! Lovesack carries a variety of flavored waters that are slightly carbonated; it paired nicely with the meal. The customer service was good - the young ladies were friendly and asked if we had questions, which they answered. The next time I'm back in the Phoenix area I hope to revisit. Apparently this establishment is being sued by Lovesac, the folks who make furniture. I think that sucks and I hope someone local can step in and help these entrepreneurs. read more

So went there yesterday and they were out of rice and noodles. Wait, what? That's like McDonalds being out of hamburgers and fries. So went back today and they had rice and noodles, just no chicken. This is not good. And the owner wasn't there last night when we went nor today. Just some girls running the business. The food we got was really good BUT people are going to give it a bad reputation if you continue to always be out of your food. I wanted this place to be good, but it was a huge disappointment. We got cold flavorless noodles. The dumplings were hot, but nothing special. I would expect a dumpling place to have really good handmade dumplings. These just seemed to be a frozen variety of dumplings. Their kitchen obviously isn't large enough to really prepare food other than just reheating it. Sauces were meh. Just regular soy sauce and sriracha (didn't try the kewpie). Overall, it felt very amateurish. The setup didn't seem like that of someone with any restaurant experience. A curtain leading to the "kitchen"?! Gross. Props on the packaging though. Very cute boxes. However it seems they spent all their money on packaging instead of food. read more

We usually have a crowd of four to six, sometimes more, when we visit so we always have a plethora of food on our table. The staff is always friendly and smiling, even if sometimes there's a language barrier. We point, they provide, and we always manage to have full bellies & great laughs at Phoenix Palace. Uber/Lyft would be my recommendation, but there is a paid parking garage down a couple of streets. We didn't need a reservation since we had a small party, but I would recommend if if you're coming with a party of four or more. We sat at the bar and ordered four dishes from different categories, which was a great way to sample the menu; though honestly I think we probably could have gotten away with just 3 dishes for a party of 2. We tried Yam Mamuang Boran (old-style green mango salad), Boo Pad Pong Garee (crab curry with ginger), Tom Yum Haeng Sen Yai (dry tom yum with wide noodles), and Naem Khao Tot (crispy rice salad with fermented pork sausage). The noodles and salad were definitely my favorite though everything was seasoned really well and incredibly flavorful. What I loved most was how thoughtfully prepared everything felt. Some of the spiel and verbiage that the team had was a little pretentious and awkward. I saw them "kindly" kicking out a table for sitting past their reservation time. I've never ever seen a restaurant do that before. Really not that bad but really not worth the $20-$40 price tags either. I'm open to coming back and trying other dishes. I really think I may have came on a bad night.

This establishment prides itself on aesthetics, yet my recent experience was a disappointment, quite literally. Regrettably, my food was dropped so the aesthetics portion of it was immediately ruined. While aesthetics may not be my primary concern, the quality of the cuisine certainly is. Unfortunately, it fell short. The noodles and rice were cold and clumped together, while the dumplings were mediocre at best, giving off the impression of being store-bought. As for the pricing, it was exorbitant. Adding insult to injury, the total bill, including a tip (because let's be fair, tipping is just basic decency), amounted to $30 for two people more than expected. Most of the lower set tables were taken so the rez came in handy. Ample bar seating available however. Greeted right away by server and offered drink menus. Both the drinks were phenomenal. I originally wanted the Asahi but they were out of it so they gave me a Japanese Lager from Los Angeles (?), blanking on the name. The Caipirinia was the other drink which was made authentically as well. No complaints on the bartender. Food was 3 Bao Buns and a Chow Mein entree with grilled chicken added on top. This was the perfect amount of food for 2 people. The Bao Buns were extremely soft and light on the breading. If you get them from Din Tai Fung they tend to be dough heavy. These were NOT like that. Chicken and Eggplant buns were tasty and had a light kick to them. Noodles were probably the weakest items, I prefer the rice/flat noodles, but these were normal chow mein noodles. But I had to split the dish with my dining companion who enjoyed the noodles quite a bit. I'd go with Udon or Flat Noodles next time and ask them to add chili flakes. No room for dessert but it sounded delicious, something with bananas. Mhmmm!

We got the orange chicken and drunken noodles with added chicken breast. The food was fresh and tasty. I liked that the orange chicken came with rice, and was not overly breaded. The drunken noodles were pretty salty but overall good. These two entrees were enough for two people to take a little bit of leftovers home. Recommend for a nice date night or if looking for some Asian fusion. We'll be back!

The noodles were indeed crispy but they was such a meager portion compared to the beansprouts. The fried rice was pretty basic but also a generous portion and the two tempura shrimp had a nice crispy batter. I tried some of the eggroll too which is one of the most unique versions I've had since the super crispy outer layer was either a different preparation or different wrap material than I'm used to. The interior was made primarily of beansprouts too. Service was good. Our food was prepared fairly quickly.

And uncalled for to treat his employee like this. Maybe his employee was having a bad day !! Any chance to have compassion ? No, none of that was expressed.
