I just noticed there are 3 pages for LV for south coast. My previous and current review is for the mall location located on the 2nd floor. After having a decent experience the last time I was here, I returned and looked for DK only to realize he retired. I worked with new sales associate Soroush on this visit. I enjoyed my experience. I usually don't step foot into LV unless I'm looking for something specific. I came today to look at their small leather goods for beauty. I specifically wanted the lipstick pouch and the nice nano. Given that they were new, they sold out but Soroush worked hard to find related items for me. I ended up buying the mirror pouch with the blot papers because it has a usable mirror and could fit credit cards. Soroush helped me narrow down the items and cleaned them for me. He also offered me water to enjoy and gave me perfume samples upon my request. I liked what I purchased and I wasn't the only one. In fact, another customer waiting around saw the item and wanted one too. We talked about how cute the item was. I joked around with my SA and mentioned I helped sell 2 of those today! I'm happy with my experience. Soroush carried out my bags for me and we exchanged contact so that he can keep me updated when they get items I might be interested in. Thank you for another memorable experience and I Iook forward to many more visits!

I stopped by the Louis Vuitton store in Costa Mesa to check the sizing on one of their newer caps. The men's and women's sections are now in separate stores, which is a bit of a downside--it would've been nice if my wife could browse while I shopped. That said, the sales associate was friendly and patient as I looked through the latest collection and helped me find the right size. They had a solid selection and the displays were well put together. Overall, a strong LV location.

I stopped by the Louis Vuitton retail store at South Coast Plaza to ask about refurbishing my Baby Louis from the 80s. The woman who greeted me was so kind and directed me upstairs to their third-floor Atelier, where they handle repairs and restorations. The blonde gentleman (sorry I did not get his name) who helped me immediately recognized my bag as a vintage U.S. made Louis Vuitton from that era. He explained that during that time, Louis Vuitton licensed The French Luggage Company to make certain bags in the United States using LV's own canvas and hardware from France. The giveaway on mine was a small leather piece near the zipper that is specific to those U.S. made bags. This meant a lot to me because years ago, at this very location, a salesperson had wrongly told me my bag was fake. I was so embarrassed that I mailed it to Louis Vuitton, who authenticated it and sent it back to me with a certification note. This visit was the complete opposite. He explained my bag was still in good condition and that if refurbished, the leather would be a different shade (he even showed me an example). He encouraged me to think it over since these U.S. made vintage pieces are no longer produced. I asked if he could cut a couple of fraying pieces on the handle, and not only did he burn them so as not to fray, he also cleaned the handle for me. That kind of care, honesty, and attention to detail turned what could have been a quick errand into a wonderful experience.

Ordered and paid for a pair of sandals last week here and came to pick it up this week . Took 30 min to come out with it. Wtf? Seriously there are like 10+ people standing around doing nothing but I have to waste 30 min for a pair of sandals that is already paid for with the receipt? Time is money. Please be more efficient. There is no reason why it takes 30 min to find an order.

First time visit at this location. I will definitely comeback to it, as long as Christy is available. Christy made me and my mom very welcomed. NONE of the above negative comments/experiences was my experience today. Christy had a content attitude towards helping me out around the store. Took the time to unlocked every purse I wanted to see and even suggested to try it on and see myself in the mirror. Not knowing if I was actually going to make a purchase. Christy was very patient and helpful. As she was making the process to complete the purchase I was able to share the reason why the shopping ,celebrating I and my mother are two successful Mexican bakery business owners and the reason I dont have kids lol (shopping is my baby) which she genuinely smile and laugh. Once again, Christy is the best! REQUEST HER, AS AN LV CUSTOMER WONT REGRET IT!

We'll never get anything repaired at this location again. My mother and I dropped off a speedy and a wallet for hot stamping and monogramming earlier this week only to find out that the store somehow lost both of our products. They didn't even have record of our customization receipt, even though we had the receipt that they handed it to us. The employee also never gave us a business card so we couldn't even get in contact with anyone directly. After multiple phone calls that went on during the course of an entire afternoon finally, we get a call from a manager with no apology, but confirmation that he did find our products How does this even happen? Almost $3000 worth of merchandise missing with no store record. Absolutely unacceptable for Louis Vuitton standards. Management resolved for that I'm grateful but this still shouldn't have happened.

I've been buying Louis Vuitton products since 1977. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars at Louis Vuitton and I have never had any problems with any of the items until now. A Monogram Multiple Wallet that I purchased started to Melt at the Seams. One day I pulled my wallet out to use it and whatever Glue they now use was all over the inside of my pocket, the inside and outside of the wallet and on my hands. It was the strangest thing I've ever seen. I have over a dozen Louis Vuitton wallets that I rotate and none of the other wallets have ever had any problems. I took the wallet to the Louis Vuitton "Repair Atelier" in South Coast Plaza and they admitted there was a problem with the wallet. (see review by Ben K. on Yelp to see the exact same problem). Then the lady at the "Repair Atelier" told me that since there was a slight (you have to look very hard to find it) crack on the edge of the vinyl they would not repair it. Since this wallet was hardly used and this issue is a known problem and cost almost $600.00 after tax you would think LV would replace the wallet if they didn't know how to fix it, but NO. The lady curtly replied that they would not do anything to help me out and turned me away. Louis Vuitton has not only lost me as a customer, but most of my friends (since they usually buy something from Louis Vuitton for my Birthday and Holidays). Sad after 48 years of patronage. According to websites such as Reddit there have been huge quality control problems with Louis Vuitton products in the past few years. Search "Louis Vuitton decline" to see all of the problems LV is having. I don't mind spending money on something that is handmade and special, but LV has turned into just another massed-produced product that cuts corners to make a few extra dollars. Now they are making some of their products in Texas. Stay away. Your own Initials are enough!

Great selection here, from children's clothes to luggage, throw pillows and of course leather goods. This store is huge, the largest I've seen aside from the Las Vegas location. Love the handbag selection. I need a larger bag that's light when empty so I can weigh it down with my essentials but I appreciate the beauty of such designs as the Vernis. The sales associates were friendly but not aggressive. The store is brightly lit but warm and relaxing, not overpowering. Today there was no line outside LV, though I saw a wait for Chanel and Hermes. At Van Cleef & Arpels one could look around but the wait time to be helped was an hour.

There was a guy behind the counter looking like he was watching videos on the computer. I told him what I wanted to do and he vaguely pointed to two parts of the store that I could look in but offered no additional help when I was clear that this was all new to me. There was another gal who was eating lunch in a back room and I asked her if she minded that I ask a quick question or two. She was more than willing to stop her lunch for a couple of minutes and help me out. When the guy up front saw that I was talking with the woman he called to me from the front of the store that she was at lunch and then came back but didn't offer to step in and answer my questions so she could go back to lunch. Clearly the guy was interested in only collecting his paycheck while the gal, and while interrupting her lunch wasn't at the top of her list, was certainly willing to help a customer who clearly needed help.

Once we got going, it was great! Noah walked us through each step and was very patient with each of us, making sure we all felt comfortable with the process. I've had my Hein Gericke jacket for over 28 years, and have ridden about 140,000 miles while wearing it. The collar and one cuff were split, and some snaps were tired. Like another reviewer, I'd seen Anthony's ad in American Motorcyclist magazine, and was aware that they had a good reputation. I shipped my jacket off, and when I got it back I found two small disappointments, involving snaps on the neck and one cuff. After phone conversations and e-mails with Greg, I shipped it back, and got it back the second time with a refreshingly brief turnaround time. In addition to the factory-quality repairs (above info does not list alI work), I had Anthony's sew on a patch for me (for a reasonable extra fee), and clean and condition my old friend. It's now shiny, which was unexpected (an observation, not a complaint). I mentally deducted part of a star from my rating because of the need to send the jacket twice, but added back on part of a star for conscientious and friendly customer service. One small surprise: as a second back-and-forth shipping became necessary, I wondered whether Leatherworks might create a UPS return slip, as a former employer of mine always did for such situations. I'm not actually disappointed, as I'm aware that small businesses don't have unlimited budgets. The work was not inexpensive, but being able to wear a high-quality and well-loved garment for another couple of decades (if I last that long) is worth it. Accepting the cost was eased after I compared the purchasing power of the 1997 dollars with which I bought my jacket to that of the 2026 repair dollars. It was worth it.

I was quoted $175 for what was described as a simple refresh of the leather and color, which sounded fair for a quality restoration. But when I picked up the bag, I was honestly heartbroken by the result. The pigment was smeared and stuck all over the hardware, which hadn't been polished or cleaned at all. The color on the leather was patchy, with uneven tones and visible blemishes. What used to be smooth, soft leather now feels rough and sandy, almost like it was stripped instead of restored. It also looks like no waterproofing or protective finish was applied. I don't doubt that they do excellent work on shoes and smaller leather items, but based on my experience, I wouldn't trust them again with a high-end handbag. For the price and the promise, this was a huge disappointment.
