Let me start by saying the room itself was a gem. Which was expected as we paid for a more luxury experience. On the other hand The Lottle hotel general was not it. Staffs lack knowledge of their own operations. They advertise "Lexus" shuttle and "Lexus"experiences like loan a car, on a first come first serve based. I call ahead every single day to try and coordinate a ride, i was met with a response "first come first serve." We Pretty much had to chase the driver around ourselves and figure out our shuttle situation. Alongside "front desk" holy sh*t. My room key did not work.(blaming it in maintenance sayin my door battery was dead) over 45 min wait for maintenance to say its not the battery. 45mins to get into my room. Very frustrating!!! Being in the industry Safe to say we will not recommend this place.

A view of their Lounge on the 16th floor

Was only here for work and did not stay here. 180+ rooms here located adjacent to the Columbia Towers. Vibe was pretty cool and would have wanted to experience the Lounge. Parking is difficult and they only have Valet parking so I opted for an Uber due to the rain.

Comfortable stay, we've enjoyed the hotel This hotel has one Michelin key, and it's totally worth it! ROOMS: bright and brand new rooms, we've chosen bay view and it is perfect:) Very comfortable bed and pillows, working zone. Walk-in shower, cool cosmetics and all necessities are provided. The room is equipped with a teapot and coffee machine (there are tea bags and coffee cups as well), safe, fridge, kitchen utensils (cups, glasses). LOCATION: excellent! 5min walking distance from the nearest metro station, 15min to Pike Place Market by feet. FOOD: there is a restaurant in 16th floor (perfect view is included), they serve a-la carte breakfasts (7-11am), lunch and dinner are available as well. FACILITIES: good wi-fi, SPA, gym (24h), 24h room service, meeting rooms. STAFF: friendly and polite.

My family stayed here for one night for a birthday occasion and had a pleasant experience! We were offered a complimentary drink, which I believe was some type of Korean traditional drink. In our room, they prepared a small dessert for our birthday, which was a sweet surprise! The room was vibrant with lots of mirrors. Service including checking in, room service, valet all went smoothly. We ordered room service for dinner and for breakfast the morning after. For dinner around 5:30PM, we ordered tomato soup, seared local halibut, red tomato pasta, grilled filet mignon, and homemade milk chocolate cookies + milk for dessert. Everything was filling and pretty tasty! The next morning, we ordered our breakfast - brioche French toast, cage-free omelet, and salmon bagel. I loved the mini jams for the toast, so cute! I had a nice time and would like to stay here again!

This was my first time staying at this South Korean luxury chain. Lobby is located on the 16th floor and has beautiful views. Also, restaurant and lounge located on 16th floor. Pros: Convenient freeway access Walking distance to Pike Place Market Views of Elliott Bay Suite was very roomy Modern design Cons: Parking is $72/night. (There are cheaper garages walking distance.) Entrance to the hotel seems to be an issue with Uber/Lyft. We went through 4 different drivers who kept turning the wrong way to get to the front of the hotel. The shower was too big; long like a hallway. Bathrooms have single use plastics. Boo. Would like to see them switch to refillable toiletries. Note: Spa uses Biologique Recherche products and rooms have Molton Brown products. Too bad they don't have South Korean beauty products. I would definitely return and I could see myself upping to 5 stars on a subsequent visit.

Plenty of closet space, buffet cabinet held coffee machine, mini fridge electric kettle and so on.

My partner and I booked the Lotte after a 4 day back country back packing trip. We wanted something a little nicer since we had been out and about for days without a proper bed, meals etc. The staff at the Lotte welcomed us in such a nice friendly manner. We were offered a nice little gift of chocolates made in house and they were absolutely delicious. The staff made sure you knew they were there for you and anything you needed it was their priority to make sure everything was going 100% for you. The room itself was nice. Roomy, modern and the view we had was awesome, good glimpse of downtown, the river, stadiums (if you like sports). You are also closed to Pikes, the water front space needle and all the other tourist attractions. They also have a conference area, gym, sauna and spa. As well as a nice restaurant with good food and a bar with everything you need to wind down. They make it very comfortable for you to want to stay in and not venture out Would we stay here again. Yea we would.

    Gorgeous suite!

This is a weird hotel. It's clearly aimed at luxury class accommodations and certainly Lotte in South Korea is exactly that (and also a fine maker of delicious snacky things!) but this Seattle location has too many things off to put it in class with the best hotels; this is a four star establishment, not a five, but you'll be paying five star prices! The first impressions here are good. You'll be greeted warmly at the front entrance by all the staff and the valet are quick to get to you if you pull your car up. The valet does take a fair bit of time as the lot appears to be some distance away (or some procedure that takes a bit of time) but it's not for a lack of attentiveness. The good impression continue in the lobby and with the first glimpses of the bar and restaurant. I've written about the dining and drinking spaces in other reviews so I'll just concentrate on the registration desk. I love the natural wood touches to the front of the desk that give it some of that PNW aesthetic that they're really striving for in much of the design. The service is nice but a little distant from most people I've interacted with, and some of the non-native speakers can come across a little awkward when they're sorting out things for you. The first really strange vibe you're going to get is in the hallways leading to the rooms. There's clearly a tree theme happening here that I know was carefully considered and came from someone's inspiration but it fails hard to establish the right mood for this place. The tree graphic is laid into the carpet and has branches leading to each room - a nice touch but the design is two tone color and looks rather amateur even though I know it's not. To make matters worse, someone chose orange and black as the two colors you're going to enjoy which means instead of the warm and autumnal feelings of Seattle you're going to be thinking Halloween. Seriously, orange is the color of anxiety so I'm not sure what they were thinking with this as it really gives you a strange feeling heading to your room. The rooms themselves are nice enough and again feel like proper design taste has been applied but they don't feel very luxury to me. Mostly it has a 1950's interior homey feel with strange arced doors for the bathroom. It feels like a cross between boutique design, incorporation of the local environment, and highbrow craftsman interior of yesteryear. Maybe you'll like it but I find the whole thing kind of unappealing and wish for something more modern or warm. Food here is a combination of bland and annoying. For example, they love large stringy broccolini in the food here, and eating it is always awkward; it would be forgiven if the veggie was prepared with any interesting flavor but sadly it tastes as is. I Had a burger here that came out on flat stone plate which meant that cutting the burger in any way ended up with lots of bits regularly falling off the side (also the burger too was bland and closer meatloaf in texture!) I've had a lot of the different food offerings here and I think only the morning omelets satisfy - the rest I would skip and head over to places like Lola and Artusi for some truly delicious local eats. The bar is really great. This is an area of the hotel that really works and the combination of the design, lighting, and wood really make everything feel very warm. This combined with the spectacular views of the city make for a really special drink or five. So it's not too bad but the prices put it into the do-not-recommend category. It's considerably more expensive to stay here than say, The Shilla in Seoul, but with nowhere near the service, amenities, comfy rooms or delicious food. I would skip it.

A nice treat for our anniversary

We stayed here for 6 nights and had an outstanding experience. We arrived way earlier than normal check-in time, so we were thinking we may have to just drop off our bags at the hotel and come back later. When we first walked in to the doors, they guy working told us we could try heading up to reception on the 16th floor and because a lot of times the room is ready early. The hotel restaurant & lounge- Charlotte- is also located on the 16th floor. We headed up and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready and could check-in early. Sun Woo was very welcoming and we told her it was my first time in Seattle and we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary. The next day we received an anniversary dessert in our room! Very thoughtful. We stayed on the 10th floor. The rooms are bright, modern, and meticulous! Very stunning with lots of mirrors to make the room look even bigger. Housekeeping usually makes up the rooms between 8-9am and they will only stop by if the Privacy is turned off. There were a few times we left a little later, but dialed the front desk and they were able to make up the room while we were out. We interacted with a lot of different staff during our stay and every single person was friendly and pleasant. Every time we entered and exited the hotel, we were acknowledged in some capacity. We had an amazing experience here- wonderful accommodations and service all around!

The service alone earns this hotel all the stars. We had a minor issue with our booking (on the Amex side) and the front desk staff (Sun) was so helpful and worked to help make it right. Not only was she courteous and helpful during check-in she was super thoughtful by listening to the reason for our stay (Babymoon) and brought a gift and dessert to our room as congratulations (how nice!) Our whole stay all the staff was nice and helpful (bringing extra items to the room, offering umbrellas, etc). We opted for a city view room which was perfect for us. The room was pristine, packed with the essentials, and restocked fully on a daily basis. We had drinks in their lounge one night and breakfast at Charlotte (amazing bay views) another day, both were great. The hotel is also pretty centrally located: quick walk to Pike Place and the Monorail (to get to Space Needle, MoPop, and Chihuly Gardens). Also has convenient drugstore, Amazon go and Starbucks nearby. Can't recommend this place enough!

If I could give more stars I would. We went to Teatre ZinZanni and made it a weekend. The room was beautiful and the service was top notch. I highly recommend the show and the brunch the next morning!

Than watched them check in couple after couple. 2.5 hours later we got our early check in. A whole 15 minutes early. This was after it supposedly took them 45 minutes to clean the room. Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

I tried to explain that people were right behind us and it wasn't safe to block egress but the people at the front desk said that it wasn't a problem. My husband just needed to block traffic and unload our things then wait for a valet driver to appear. I asked if we could upgrade our room to a club level but was informed that they have no ability to do so at the front desk and haven't for some time. I was very disappointed at this. It would have been one thing if they were booked but just flat out denial just because felt somehow personal (even if it wasn't actually). I went back out to the entrance to see if I could spot my husband and made him stop. Soon after a valet arrived and said he should park the car perpendicular to the other cars so he would have somewhere to park. This would have effectively blocked both the valet cars and the through traffic lanes. He then asked if we were going to do valet parking. I told him "not any more!" This hotel charges $69 a night for valet and the self parking isn't worlds cheaper but it definitely felt worth it to have our car placed carefully by us and not left in the care of the person who felt perpendicular/blocking through traffic was a good idea. Meanwhile I found our room that has a persistent sound of whistling when the heating is on and I found that the bathroom, while beautiful had a rather unappealing quality. When you use the toilet you are looking directly into a rather large mirror. When taken all together it makes for a rather disappointing experience. I don't think I will stay at any Hyatt again. There are other options that are pleasant and clean and well thought out nearby.

Service was very slow unfortunately for the restaurant (it took 1.5 hours while the restaurant wasn't busy, and they did forget our side of grilled broccolini until after we finished our meals/reminded them). We tried the tuna hamachi crudo, clams and mussels, roasted hen of the woods and grilled broccolini. The tuna hamachi crudo was good, though I was hoping for more brightness in the flavor. I enjoyed the clams and mussels as well as the roasted hen of the woods overall, but felt the grilled broccolini was a little too dry (seemed grilled without any oil or seasoning). We did also try a few seasonal mocktails which were delicious and the highlight of the meal. Brunch the next day was take out and we went with a steak and eggs and a caesar salad. Both were solid, but note that the caesar salad came with actual little sardines, so for those picky eaters, this may be a bit much.

It felt starkly different this time in terms of the service and generosity -- much more generic. - My room was far noisier than my previous visit. I'm not sure what changed, but I could hear noises from other units and from the street much more loudly this time. - On noise, the AC unit in my room this time was much noisier as well. Generally speaking, I still think this is a great hotel, but I had a disappointing experience this time vs my prior stay. I will give it another shot next time, but with caution.

Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It is close to the Cap Hill neighborhood with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of street parking in the vicinity. The mansion itself is part of what was known as Millionaire's Row. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. If we find ourselves back in Seattle, this is where I will want to stay.

The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. As soon as I stepped out of my Uber upon initial arrival, a staff member walked up to open my door and asked if I needed help with my bags. My room was comfortable in every aspect. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years. I would wholeheartedly stay here again!

Upon entry to the room, I was greeted with a small (and delicious) cake, sparkling wine, and a handwritten card with bday wishes. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. In the morning at the lobby, they had local coffee and mini-donuts or muffins. In the late afternoon in the lobby, they had pink lemonade and snacks (gummy bears, brownies, nuts/dried fruit). Location was a quick 5 min walk to Pike Market which was a fun place to pick up souvenirs made by local artisan to bring home. So much good food as well (Sushi Koshiba, Place Pigelle, The Pink Door, Piroshky Piroshky)

The downtown area, Pike Place market, the overlook deck, all were within 10 minutes walking distance. Despite arriving few minutes past midnight, our check-in process was easy. The room was well furnished. All amenities in the room and bathroom worked fine. Our room had a balcony with full glass window. Since the building was U shaped, all the rooms from other side could see our room, and vice versa. So, the setup was not best privacy wise, we had to use the curtains most of the time. But we got a gorgeous view of the pear and mountain range from the room. The lobby area also had wonderful interior and plenty of areas to sit. The hotel had M lounge where we were able to get snack and drinks throughout our stay. There was one restaurant adjacent to the hotel and a bar as well that appeared to get busy around dinner hours. All staff members we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had gym and pool as well. The pool was split into half indoor and half outdoor. The water was bit warm, so despite the weather being chili outside, we were able to use the pool. But the disappointing part the floor area around the pool was so under maintained. There were cracks, dirt, uncovered holes, things that I had rarely seen for a Marriott hotel. Our room was also next to a portion of the building's roof that had bird poop, dirt, and weed. Though we had a wonderful time staying at this hotel, some these minor factors were sore eye to the experience.

I called reservations who said they would allow me to move the reservation to another night for $800 and waive the cancellation fee $500. The front desk stooge said no, they would not waive the fee. So a Platinum member who always shows up, never complains literally can't get to the hotel and even partial refund. Bullshit. I will NEVER stay at your half ass hotel.
