Such a cool hotel. We got a corner unit on the 6th floor with a clear view of the space needle. The bed is just the right firmness and the room bar is on point. Love the green everywhere and the kitchen touch of sustainability. There's a cute free farmers market next to the lobby. There's a nice bar too. Lots of activity available with the hotel and next door is whole foods. Also located in a very central area. It is such a cool place and definitely will stay here again if I have the chance. Only problem is that is kind of far from the train but you can hop on a bus.

The hotel was nicely decorated and I love their sustainable concept. I thought it was clean and functional. My only complaints with this location were the valet, elevators, and room services. There was usually only one individual working valet so when it was peak hours, it would take anywhere from 5-20 minutes to fetch the car. There were functions available on the tv to "fetch the car" and order items to the room but they were not in service at the time I visited so it was a bit misleading. The hotel also has two elevators in the lobby but there seemed to be issues during my stay so only one elevator was available and it would switch directions halfway through the ride causing it to take longer. Aside from these minor issues, I really enjoyed the hospitality, cleanliness, and amenities offered and would stay again!

Check In experience: Shay was soooo delightful. He was genuinely caring, friendly, professional, and accommodating. He went above and beyond by helping celebrate our special event. His quality service actually began by phone, prior to our arrival when I called to ask questions. He appeared to really enjoy his job and engaging with guests. Thanks Shay! Hotel ambiance: When we walked into the hotel the air freshener was incredible! I had to have a diffuser! I wanted to bottle that smell and keep it with me forever lol. The lobby, dining and sitting areas, bar, elevators, hallways, and our room were clean and tidy. Nothing was ever out of place during our stay. The sitting area has a nice two-sided fireplace, and a green (plant) living wall. The hotel sits inside a small strip mall on top of Whole Foods. The hotel is located downtown, and shopping was nearby including Pike's Place Market. Room: We were told our bedroom would have a separate seating area, and although that wasn't the case our room was very stylish and well decorated. The furnishings were top notch, and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a safe, an umbrella for rainy Seattle days, and a mini bar with snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic). The bathroom was lovely, had a tub, and a separate shower with multiple jets. Housekeeping: The room has a stone that you place outside your door which alerts housekeeping if you want your room cleaned now or later. We said later but housekeeping never came. Audi: The hotel has a new Audi that guests can borrow. That was spectacular! The reservation process was different depending on who you talked to but Gene made sure to accommodate our needs. Thanks Gene! Costs: Its not the cheapest hotel in town by far but it was worth every penny. Definitely recommend and would stay again next time we are splurging in the area.

This is a 2 star hotel (at best) done up with nice decorations to look like a 5 star. Check in is at 4. When making my original reservation they said they will be sure to make an early check in available. I confirmed that with them twice. Landed early and let them know I was slated for an early check in. They said it wasn't ready, that's fine. Checked in around noon, not ready again at 2, not ready. 4 o'clock came and they still weren't ready. Now I'm checked in 20 minutes past regular check in time. One elevator was down. People were standing in front of the elevator batches at a time, waiting 5 or more minutes just to go up to their room. Restaurant wasn't open for a full day and they gave complimentary breakfast that day which was nice, but there's no complimentary breakfast for no guests in general. Surprising for charging $500 to over a thousand a night. When I ran a bath, the shower head leaked all over the floor. Tried again the next day and made sure there was a towel on the floor. I used the shower head and when I put it back the bathtub wall came right off. The front desk workers seem to not care about customer concerns after waiting in line and hearing how they spoke with other parties who were running into problems. They charged the wrong card after our stay. When checking in they confirmed they would charge the card I asked them to which was the original card I reserved the room with. Not the deposit card. Would not come back at this hotel again, and likely will not be staying at any 1hotel location after this experience.

We celebrated our 4 year anniversary here and had and absolutely incredible stay at 1 Hotel Seattle! From the moment we arrived, the service was on another level. I want to really thank Gene, Maddie and Ava for welcoming my wife and I with genuine warmth and hospitality and made the check-in experience seamless. So friendly, professional, and truly dedicated to making guests feel at home. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and has such a relaxing atmosphere, but the staff is what made this visit unforgettable. Gene, and his team went above and beyond, and because of them, I'll definitely be returning. Highly recommend 1 Hotel Seattle to anyone looking for top-tier service and a memorable experience!

I will say when I arrived I was like wtf is this place but looks are deceiving. Walked in and I will say there was a nice vibe. Electric funk with wellness chic. Staff was friendly and made me feel fly af. Room was beautiful, nice bed decor etc. location was good. Was able to walk everywhere. The best part was the drift bar area. First of staff there Amazing, friendly and make a nice drink and the food is delicious. The outside area was incredible. Early afternoon, light rain , good lighting. Allowed me to think of life while listening to the rain with the sound of jazz flute playing funk in the background. Sounds amazing because it was. 100 worth the experience and would stay there again.

I really love the design of the restaurant on the first floor. I could eat there for a whole week without getting tired of it, and after the meal, you can relax in the lobby!

There's only a small area for parking in front of the hotel and it's also the spot for Valet. You'll likely have to post up in the travel lane to check in or drop off your car. The hotel has some unique amenities but I wasn't able to use them for such a short stay. The King corner room far exceeded my expectations. It's spacious and felt pretty luxurious. The star of the room is the soaking tub. It's deep and the water is hot. I especially liked that there's a separate shower. The workspace is nice and there are plenty of plugs for everything. The Nespresso comes stocked and is free to use. The mini bar, not so much, and it's pretty pricy. The bed. THE BED! If I could have brought it home with me I would have. It's lush and it smelled good. Like fresh dryer sheets good. I don't think I've ever said that about a hotel bed before. If you need a firm bed you won't like this one. I didn't have much interaction with the staff but when I did it was pleasant. I am definitely staying here again.

The staff was friendly, but not exceptional. Rooms are clean, and comfortable, but for the room night cost, I've had much better experiences for the same money. One stand out is the gentleman at Rosebay craft cocktails serving wine at the 3 o'clock hour. He was exceptional.

I had a great stay at The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown and would definitely consider staying here…read moreagain. I booked it partly because it's part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection, so I could earn and redeem Hilton Honors points. That was a huge plus since I was visiting during the World Cup and hotel prices were absolutely wild: close to $800 a night if I had paid out of pocket! The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. There was a bellman opening the door, everyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating, and it was always easy to grab an Uber right outside the hotel. One feature I really liked was the little pantry in the lobby. It's basically a self-service convenience store stocked with local candy, snacks, wine, beer, and other treats. You scan everything yourself and can charge it directly to your room, which was super convenient. We used our HHonors stay credit to buy a small bottle of Washington State wine and some local chocolates. The hotel has a really fun music theme throughout, and the design is modern with a Scandinavian-inspired feel. As a Gen Xer, I thought the vibe was just plain cool without trying too hard. Our standard King room had huge windows, a spacious sitting area, and clean, minimalist European-style décor that felt fresh and comfortable. The hotel itself was also surprisingly quiet despite being located in an urban area, so we slept really well. The only disappointment was our view. It wasn't much to look at. I was secretly hoping for an upgrade, but no luck. Not a deal breaker, just a minor letdown considering one side of the hotel affords perfect views of the Space Needle. The location is excellent for sightseeing on foot. We walked to Pike Place Market in about 10 minutes, and the Space Needle was also around a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction. Just be prepared for Seattle's hills! They're no joke, and you'll be going up and down some very, very steep streets to get to the waterfront. There are also plenty of great restaurants, bars, shops, and coffee shops within easy walking distance. One thing I'd mention is that while we felt comfortable during the day, after dinner around 10:45 p.m. we decided to take an Uber back from the Pike Place Market area instead of walking back to the hotel because parts of the area felt a little sketchy at night. Seattle has a very serious problem with drug users and unhoused folks, and they can get a little scary. I feel so badly for them, but I also felt a lot safer in an Uber than trying to walk back in the downtown area that late at night. The Sound is a stylish, comfortable hotel with excellent service, a great location, and a fun personality. If you're a Hilton Honors member, it's an especially solid choice when Seattle hotel prices are high.

The front desk had a room available for me a little earlier than normal check-in and had wonderful suggestions for a little snack around the hotel. The room is much more spacious than pictures can show. I really enjoyed the two separate seating areas. The window area settee was the perfect place for a snack and using my laptop to prepare for the next day. The closet has more than just two hangers, which I appreciated being able to hang the clothes that needed to be hung and steamed later. The bed was soft, but not overly so and the charging options on the nightstand helped me keep some of my electronics packed and neat. Being in Downtown Seattle, I really didn't feel like I needed a car. The Sound is situated in a great place to just walk where I needed to go. Less than five minutes away from Westlake where I could catch either the monorail or Link, was very convenient for me. I enjoy walking around to get familiar with the area I'm in and there was so much to see!!! I will be back to The Sound for my next Seattle adventure!

Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It is close to the Cap Hill neighborhood with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of street parking in the vicinity. The mansion itself is part of what was known as Millionaire's Row. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. If we find ourselves back in Seattle, this is where I will want to stay.

The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. As soon as I stepped out of my Uber upon initial arrival, a staff member walked up to open my door and asked if I needed help with my bags. My room was comfortable in every aspect. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years. I would wholeheartedly stay here again!
