Stayed at the Four Seasons in Seattle for my birthday and from check-in to check-out i had an exceptional experience top notch service and felt acknowledged and special. Upon arrival i was greeted with champagne, cake with my name on it, chocolate strawberries and macarons. The room was super clean, beds felt like sleeping in clouds. The hot tube was the main amenity it felt so good to be able to soak in it. Had robes and slippers for each guest and teddy bear and book for the kids. Room service was exeptional food was delicious and staff was amazing. Spend the day in the pool for my birthday. Pool staff was very attentive and kept refilling my spicy margarita. My daughter really enjoyed her mocktail Purple Rain. Highly recommend. Communication was great, was able to arrange transportation thru the app with consierge. The restaurant the hotel has down stairs in the lobby is also outstanding. Staff was very attentive. Highly recommend 10/10 would stay there again. If you need to stay in Seattle please stay at the Four Seasons.

Great location- right next to Pike Place and Seattle Art Museum! The hospitality and service is (as expected), too notch. Rooms are really spacious (big bathroom!) and turn down service is great too. My favorite amenity while staying was the complementary coffee service- they even remembered my preference from the night before!

Food ambience and service was lovely Robbie was great at the bar great service from him!

Nice resort, food was beautifully presented and delicious! Location is fantastic, however the steps going up and down to the water front is kind of a workout.

Seattle has no shortage of great hotels but the Four Seasons takes the cake. Location, experience and amenities... they miss nothing during your stay.

This is my favorite hotel to stay in. Not just in Seattle but anywhere. The customer service is always above and beyond. The rooms incredible, especially their very large tubs. I have stayed here about 15+ times and every single visit has included turn down service ( often with fresh ice and chocolate) without my asking. They put cable management clips on all my phone or laptop chargers. They always lay my makeup on the counter so beautifully. The rooms include a nespresso with 3 coffee options, tea, and boxed water. They had apples for a long time as well. They offer shoe shining, often your boots return in under an hour. Room service is my favorite of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Mail? They deliver it to your room. 24 hour fitness center ( stocked with water and sometimes fruit) Infinity pool, and hot tub that over looks the Ferris wheel and waterfront. Free coffee service! On top of the in room nespresso they bring coffee to your room until 10 am at request. The lobby often has tea/ coffee/ fruit. The brunch at the golden finch tavern is outstanding. A highlight was their Easter brunch. Seriously I could go on all day, but I really love this hotel! I can't say enough

What a nice place to stay. The staff was more than amazing, the valet service was as good as it gets and very easy to get to. Perfect location, also your room is always clean. They visit twice a day and refresh everything. It is pricey but if you want a special experience it's well worth it. I do wish they would have a refrigerator to put your stuff in. They have a honor bar but no room for any drinks you bring. A microwave would be nice also although I'm sure that's ghetto but just saying. We had leftovers from dinners almost every night and had to waste them. We would still return and highly recommend staying here.

Seems crazy to pay over a thousand dollars a night for a hotel in Seattle but four seasons staff really goes above and beyond! We recently booked a water view corner RM and staff upgraded us to a 1 bedroom suite for my wife's birthday. I really can't say enough about the employees of four seasons Seattle. They are kind, courteous and attentive. They go above and beyond to make your stay special. Goldfinch and spa were also both five stars! A+

Do the base rooms have jacuzzi tubs? Also - does the spa have jacuzzis or saunas for use after the massages?

There is a Jacuzzi, bar and lounge area on the third floor overlooking Elliot bay. I don't know what you mean by base rooms unless you meant bathrooms and there was no jacuzzi in our bathtub but the tub was spacious and relaxing. We did not use the… Read more

The staff definitely leave something to be desired. I found them a mixture of condescending and rude. We requested early check in and where informed our room was not ready. Than watched them check in couple after couple. 2.5 hours later we got our early check in. A whole 15 minutes early. This was after it supposedly took them 45 minutes to clean the room. Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

It was about 3:15 pm. He had to check with housekeeping to see if the room was ready. No joke.....almost 45 minutes went by and housekeeping had not replied. Meanwhile, a half dozen people were greeted and given their room keys. I tried not to get upset and I said to the young man, I don't mean to sound rude but this is really disappointing. He wasn't phased. He had the personality to a wet sock. The manager was running in and out behind the counter. Nothing was happening or being communicated to me. Finally, after a very long wait we were given keys to our room. I asked about any type of breakfast or happy hour. They don't offer any of that. The room has no little refrigerator other than a cooler drawer filled with outrageously priced snacks and alcohol. Good thing we didn't have medications that needed refrigeration. There's no microwave. There's no condiments for coffee or tea. There's a Nespresso maker for those people who enjoy Nespresso. I'm not one who particularly enjoys Nespresso. There were no pods anywhere. I asked for some at the front desk and I was told that it's hidden in the room somewhere. It's Christmas not Easter and I'm not going to play hide and seek for the crappy coffee. The furnishings were modern and cold. The lack of the little niceties that are standard everywhere else aren't here. The least they could have done was provide quality customer service and not by someone who seems like they would be better off employed in a funeral home. Pros, view and location Cons, pretty much everything else.

It is a very convenient location, just minutes away from the Seattle Farmer's Market and near to Chinatown. While we had access to early check in with our credit card, our room type (suite) was not ready yet and actually ended up not being ready until around 4:00 P.M. (regular check in time) so we did have to drop off our luggage and decided to walk around. When we came back and our room was ready, my husband did call down and mentioned it was our anniversary since they had confirmed in previously but we didn't see anything in the room, and they were very kind to bring up a little treat for us including some delicious chocolate covered strawberries. The room itself was spacious and clean with a great view of the city (we had a corner view). The bath tub had a fun feature (water to fill the tub came from a ceiling faucet rather than attached to the tub. The towels were large and fluffy and overall ambience was relaxing with a couch in the room. Check out was smooth and they had our bill ready and everything was easy/correct so we did not have to worry. We also did have late check out, which was pleasant as we could have a leisurely morning. We did try the restaurant (All Water) both for dinner and brunch the next day. Service was very slow unfortunately for the restaurant (it took 1.5 hours while the restaurant wasn't busy, and they did forget our side of grilled broccolini until after we finished our meals/reminded them). We tried the tuna hamachi crudo, clams and mussels, roasted hen of the woods and grilled broccolini. The tuna hamachi crudo was good, though I was hoping for more brightness in the flavor. I enjoyed the clams and mussels as well as the roasted hen of the woods overall, but felt the grilled broccolini was a little too dry (seemed grilled without any oil or seasoning). We did also try a few seasonal mocktails which were delicious and the highlight of the meal. Brunch the next day was take out and we went with a steak and eggs and a caesar salad. Both were solid, but note that the caesar salad came with actual little sardines, so for those picky eaters, this may be a bit much.

The main issues I had were as follows: - A lot of the "extra perks" disappeared. When I checked in last time, I was greeted warmly and gifted a glass of champagne. I don't expect that exact thing every time, but when staying at a premium hotel like this, little things really make the experience a lot more enjoyable. It felt starkly different this time in terms of the service and generosity -- much more generic. - My room was far noisier than my previous visit. I'm not sure what changed, but I could hear noises from other units and from the street much more loudly this time. - On noise, the AC unit in my room this time was much noisier as well. Generally speaking, I still think this is a great hotel, but I had a disappointing experience this time vs my prior stay. I will give it another shot next time, but with caution.

The bed was very comfortable, and they gave my partner extra pillows for his back issues on request. Good lighting in the bathroom and the shower gets nice and hot. The provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion worked well and had a nice light citrusy scent. There was a Keurig machine in the room; not my jam but helpful in a pinch. We always got stocked with dark roast coffee pods, which is my preference, whoo. Also an empty mini fridge which we were able to use for beverages and leftovers. The 7th floor has a nice little seating area outside the bar where I was able to get some quiet work done one weekday, and the outdoor terrace offers a mountain view on clear days. The fitness center is small: just two treadmills, one recumbent bike, an elliptical, a peloton, and many dumbbells, but I had no problem getting a treadmill run in each morning before 9 am. Water bottle fillers on floors 1 and 4 were super convenient, too. The valet parking is very convenient but pricy. You might want to check Spot Hero or similar to see if you can get a better deal on parking nearby. All told I was impressed by this hotel and I think we will stay here next time we return to Seattle.

Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It is close to the Cap Hill neighborhood with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of street parking in the vicinity. The mansion itself is part of what was known as Millionaire's Row. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience.
