I had a fantastic stay here earlier this week. Everything from checking in until checking out two days later was on point. The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. As soon as I stepped out of my Uber upon initial arrival, a staff member walked up to open my door and asked if I needed help with my bags. My room was comfortable in every aspect. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years. Hats off and compliments to the Four Seasons Seattle staff and management! My family had a spectacular experience for 3 nights as we explored Seattle prior to hopping on an Alaskan cruise. This hotel is an excellent choice for those wanting to stay in a waterfront property that's walkable to the cruise terminal as well. Though Four Seasons is not the most cost effective option for a comfortable hotel in downtown Seattle, I highly recommend this hotel based on my recent experience in June 2025. Where to start.... Location, location, location! The hotel is literally a block away from the entrance to Pike Place Market where you can spend days shopping, snacking, and enjoying the views of the water. The views from the hotel room are breathtaking as the Great Wheel (Ferris wheel) and Aquarium are just a few minutes away by foot. From the Four Seasons, we were able to walk to Chinatown in under 30 min (you can also take the train just 2 stops down) and Seattle Center where the Space Needle is located is also walkable and also accessible via monorail. The staff greets you at the door every time you enter and exit, and the lobby is full of surprises like premium coffee and tea in the mornings and a candy bar in the afternoon. Every time our room was serviced, it was done to perfection and then some. The chat function on the app was amazing as I was able to make requests and ask questions with ease. Responses were close to immediate. At the front desk and concierge, staff are also very friendly and treated us with respect and honor. They also provided great advice for food and sightseeing options close by. They never tried to sell me stuff where they would make money off of it. I could go on and on, but I have to say that my family's experience was extremely memorable, and if I could give this place 6 stars, I would. If you're looking for the optimal location for breathtaking views, seconds away from Pike Place Market, and still walkable to the Space Needle, Chinatown, the Convention Center, etc., this is it, y'all! read more

This was such a beautiful hotel! I hosted a private event at this hotel and their events coordinator, Valerie Manney, did such a wonderful job working closely with me to select the private conference room, plan the layout of the room, and worked with me to modify the catering menu based on my preference. The conference room was nicely set up and once our meeting was over, there were appetizers ready to greet the guests. The food was beautifully displayed and deliciously prepared. Stayed at the Four Seasons in Seattle for my birthday and from check-in to check-out i had an exceptional experience top notch service and felt acknowledged and special. Upon arrival i was greeted with champagne, cake with my name on it, chocolate strawberries and macarons. The room was super clean, beds felt like sleeping in clouds. The hot tube was the main amenity it felt so good to be able to soak in it. Had robes and slippers for each guest and teddy bear and book for the kids. Room service was exeptional food was delicious and staff was amazing. Spend the day in the pool for my birthday. Pool staff was very attentive and kept refilling my spicy margarita. My daughter really enjoyed her mocktail Purple Rain. Highly recommend. Communication was great, was able to arrange transportation thru the app with consierge. Fantastic hotel from check-in to check-out. Upgraded to a spectacular water view room for my birthday. Upon entry to the room, I was greeted with a small (and delicious) cake, sparkling wine, and a handwritten card with bday wishes. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. In the morning at the lobby, they had local coffee and mini-donuts or muffins. In the late afternoon in the lobby, they had pink lemonade and snacks (gummy bears, brownies, nuts/dried fruit). Location was a quick 5 min walk to Pike Market which was a fun place to pick up souvenirs made by local artisan to bring home. Update! Our first visit to Four Seasons (last year) was so thoroughly wonderful we decided this time to invite some of our family for an overnighter to celebrate my birthday. Once again Four Seasons left us wanting for nothing with their meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful considerations at each interaction. Earlier this year my wife and I celebrated the birth of our identical twin girls, and the hotel's reservations manager, Jessica, took great care in asking us very thoughtful questions prior to our stay so our suite could have a few extra amenities that made our stay even more comfortable. This was brilliant of her and a truly nice touch that really meant a lot. Our dinner at the hotel's restaurant, Goldfinch Tavern, was equally 5 Stars all the way! I will leave a separate review for sure, and I highly encourage anyone to make dining reservations and experience true culinary prowess! A million thanks to the entire team at Four Seasons Seattle. The rooms are all small suites and are very nice. The bathrooms are well appointed with a large tub and a separate shower. My main complaint was that the room refrigerator was stocked full with items for sale ( minibar) and no place to put your own items. Also no choice but have the valet deliver your luggage for a tip. This is my favorite hotel to stay in. Not just in Seattle but anywhere. The customer service is always above and beyond. The rooms incredible, especially their very large tubs. I have stayed here about 15+ times and every single visit has included turn down service ( often with fresh ice and chocolate) without my asking. They put cable management clips on all my phone or laptop chargers. They always lay my makeup on the counter so beautifully. The rooms include a nespresso with 3 coffee options, tea, and boxed water. They had apples for a long time as well. They offer shoe shining, often your boots return in under an hour. Room service is my favorite of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Mail? They deliver it to your room. 24 hour fitness center ( stocked with water and sometimes fruit) Infinity pool, and hot tub that over looks the Ferris wheel and waterfront. Free coffee service! On top of the in room nespresso they bring coffee to your room until 10 am at request. The lobby often has tea/ coffee/ fruit. The brunch at the golden finch tavern is outstanding. I attended the Thanksgiving Buffet in 2023. Our expectations were high. We wanted the best in the area for a scrumptious buffet and eagerly made the 1 hour drive . For the price and reputation, we expected it to be extravagant and delicious, and it was neither. We thought we would be eating in the lower restaurant. We were disappointed to be seated upstairs in their very large , conference ballroom where tables were set up . Walking-in, was a display table with promising looking desserts (always a highlight for us foodies to hope for--desserts!) that featured rather nicely, but each one was , upon tasing , bland and mid to low quality ingredients, held together by gelatin, watery bases, and poor quality chocolate. Similar to what you would be served on a large passenger cruise ship or a large catered wedding that was budgeted --and not at all like savory, chef-made restaurant fare. As vegetarians, we didn't find much to eat from the selections in the main ballroom. There were some pastries , breads, some yogurt cups with fruit and granola--nothing memorable. Bread was blah. There was a cheesy pasta dish that was good, but needed salt. There was a corner table with some tired looking kids foods and treats, hard cookies, etc. Our table was near the window, but was small, and felt rushed with a cheap tablecloth thrown on top . It definitely felt like a catered slop conference meal . Our server was friendly and pleasant. Overall , we felt pretty stupid for the cost spent on the dinner and felt that it was presented like it would be chef restaurant quality (the downstairs restaurant is much better) , but it was a mass produced , heavily pre-made in advance smattering of hotel food, clearly with a budget in mind. I'm writing this review as a warning to those who are looking for a memorably great, delicious holiday spread of goodies, because this wasn't it. read more

This is a fantastic hotel to stay at when visiting Seattle. The rooms were pristine and very comfortable, with great views of downtown and the bay. There is a heated pool and hot tub which were very pleasant in September and never crowded. We also enjoyed the restaurant and spa which were so worth it. What truly makes this hotel special were the staff, who sincerely cared about and catered to our every unique need during our visit. What a nice place to stay. The staff was more than amazing, the valet service was as good as it gets and very easy to get to. Perfect location, also your room is always clean. They visit twice a day and refresh everything. It is pricey but if you want a special experience it's well worth it. I do wish they would have a refrigerator to put your stuff in. They have a honor bar but no room for any drinks you bring. A microwave would be nice also although I'm sure that's ghetto but just saying. We had leftovers from dinners almost every night and had to waste them. We would still return and highly recommend staying here. read more

This was our first time staying at this 4 Seasons. We booked the weekend for our anniversary. While the location in Seattle is great, the service was not up to standard. They kindly offered to send something up to the room for our anniversary, but it never happened. We went down to dinner (the table was not ready for our reservation, they seated us by the bathrooms) and came back and there was a note saying they had tried to drop something off, and just call down when we were back. We did, they said 'we'll send it right up, it'll be within 20 minutes"...never came. At this point we just said forget it, they clearly don't have their act together. Next day, we're watching our streaming service cast to the TV and it stops working. They send someone up to fix it, but turns out it's across the whole hotel. So we watch a regular movie on HBO until the entire cable system goes down and there's no TV at all. We were so frustrated we just went to bed. When checking out the next morning we mentioned these things, the girl just said 'oh sorry' and then tried to charge us for the dinner in the restaurant (we had paid on the card already) and room service sent to our room (the missing supposed anniversary service?!). Overall, there's plenty of beautiful hotel locations, what makes or breaks it is the level of service, and for what you're paying at the 4 Seasons it should be exceptional, and it very clearly was not. The best hotel in Seattle. The Four Seasons is located on the waterfront downtown, one block from Pike Place Market. The accommodations are modern luxury, with spacious rooms offering stunning views of Elliott Bay. There is a great restaurant on site called Goldfinch Tavern, as well as a rooftop pool and spa, complete with fireplace. Check in was a little sloppy. We were offered a room upgrade, which we accepted. Unfortunately, the room was nearly at eye level to the pool, which was filled with people (very) loudly partying. There was a large wedding at the hotel that day; usually the pool is peaceful. We were moved back to our original room, where there was a cute (and delicious) mini birthday cake. It was not either of our birthdays, but no complaints (I love cake). We stayed in a Partial Bay View Room, priced at $1200/night. It was well appointed, but nothing special. The view was quite beautiful, but I disliked that we could see into other people's rooms. Apartment complex vibes. Still, we slept well, and were very comfortable. Plus, the location is unmatched; walking distance from everything. If you are a Four Seasons regular, you may be disappointed with the Seattle property. But, it is still a very nice hotel, and we will certainly stay here again. read more

You expect nothing but the best when you stay at a Four Seasons. This was exactly that. A great location with amazing views of the bay. When I checked in I was a little early and my room wasn't quite ready. I met a friend at the bar and very shortly after I received a text that my room was ready. When I got to my room my luggage was already waiting for me. Very large room and an amazing bathroom. Tv built into the mirror. Separate tub from shower. But always the most amazing thing about these hotels is the bed. Wow! Now one little amazing service note which again is the reason you pay for this level of service. I was in a meeting and grabbed my glass of Diet Coke. It slipped out of my hand and went all over the desk, chair and unfortunately my suit jacket. The guy immediately asked me if he could get my jacket taken care of. Another gentleman brought me a new chair and about 3 hours later he brought my jacket back from the dry cleaners clean and pressed. He didn't ask my name or my room number. Just did it because the opportunity to "wow" was there. That's just great service. read more

This hotel is spectacular! If you're looking for a place to enjoy Seattle from in the lap of luxury, this is it. Walking into the lobby you see a beautiful gas fireplace and then looking to the right through Gold Finch Tavern, you see Elliott Bay. Don't look too far left or you will see a gourmet chocolate shop that is irresistible. We were greeted warmly by the staff, checked into our room, and it was amazingly comfortable. So comfortable we wanted to pack up the bed and all the bed linens and have them shipped home. The bathroom was so up-to-date to include a TV in the mirror! A large tub with l'octaine products, robe, luxurious towels - a great way to relax after hours of walking and sightseeing. We did visit Goldfinch Tavern that's in a separate review. It is a great spot for drinks and food. We did not spend a lot of time checking out all the other amenities as we were too busy walking around Seattle. read more

We made a reservation for three people for Thanksgiving this year. We were notified by text ten days before confirming our reservation. Two days before Thanksgiving we were called and told they had no reservation for us, twenty minutes later they confirmed our reservation. When we arrived on11/28/24 there was more confusion about our reservation. We were told to go to the Ballroom. The meal was mediocre, nothing special. The bill was $800.00. I tried to leave a review of the experience the next day on the Four Seasons website but could not because I had no confirmation number. I called reservations to find the number, which we were never given. I was told they could not locate it. Needless to say we were very disappointed by this lack of service. read more

Love!!! There are a ton of hotels in downtown Seattle / 1 mile radius of this. But this is one of our favorites. I used to love it for the food here ( took a few tries in that spot: several restaurants came and gone) but four seasons took over! Finally got the goldfinch in! And it's now our instant favorite! Best part: valet! I live 5 minutes drive from here so I often don't drive when I come. I uber. Or I walk here and to the market with my puppy! But few of the times that I did drive, I loved the easy, pull in valet! Never busy/ overcrowded. Just easy. And for the staycations/ spa time with girls friends. Love the room. The spa was a ok experience for us. Perhaps they were overwhelmed (12 of us), or short on staff. It really wasn't memorable or a return trip worthy. The facial, the massage. All fell short. The pet friendliness and the food: 4 stars for that! Especially their weekend brunch. It's a must especially for the holiday season: we always go for the private room too though it's a far walk to all that oysters and seafood. Or all the desert! This review is solely as a meeting/event space. I have been to several events here in the same space. The actual space is large enough, with a nice exterior area. The staff is attentive. But there are several things that are consistently bad for an event. The acoustics of the room are bad. It is generally hard to hear and the sound systems have been pretty mediocre. The room gets freezing cold. Nearby construction is heard very clearly, which makes the sound issues even worse. And there is never enough parking. The last four events I have attended (over two years) had full parking lots and even with valet, they could not accomodate everyone at the event. This is unexcusable for event planning -- there needs to be some plan to have everyone at the event, if they so choose, park there. There are plenty of event spaces in the Seattle area, if you are planning a conference, banquet, gala or event -- pick somewhere else. read more

The experience here is always a pleasure and lovely place to staycation... my husband often requests for special add on requests for my children and I. For example, he had flowers and snacks requested to be put into our room prior to our arrival and a similar request for our dinner reservations. This they did exceptionally well on! Four seasons has always provided excellent customer service from beginning to end. They also have an incredible staff that are all on the same page when it comes to customer service and guest experiences. They have great food and great spa services. I have mixed emotions about this hotel. Is it beautiful yes, does it have the perfect location yes...Everything about this hotel is a yes, so you might wonder why I have it three stars. Well the main issue is that the shower did not drain there was a very very slow drain and it took the water about 2 hours to drain out the shower. Well i my spouse and I had to stand in the other's bath water to shower. Well some may say what's the big deal, let me tell you it makes me question the cleaning and ask did they really sanitize like they say. A slow drain doesn't just happen it's builds up over time. The doormen will also aid in getting you transportation, including a private car for close drop offs. Turn down service is also provided, and this great service is not offered by many other hotels. 1 Star. Facility - Location is key, but the rooms are equally impressive. Bathrooms have TV's inside the mirror and are all network connected. The bathroom is spacious and the beds comfortable. You'll find the pool and fitness center on the fourth floor, and the view also overlook the water. Always ask for a room with a view and you won't be disappointed. The hotel itself is about 6 years old so you can expect everything to be in tip top shape. The room was so nice I ALMOST wanted to stay in, but its proximity to Seattle's best landmarks will pull you out. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. You simply cannot match the level of service, amenities, and amazing location. Yes, you are paying a premium to stay here, but it is no doubt worth a visit and return. 1 Star. Went to a corporate holiday party here and, unsurprisingly, this Four Seasons stacks up well against their other properties. Although it has a rather odd view toward Puget Sound overlooking a storage facility, the property itself is nearly impeccable. This hotel has one of the greatest views of the Puget Sound. Watching the sunset from one of the harbor view rooms is an absolute special moment. We chose to stay at the Four Seasons due to its waterfront accessibility, amenities, service, and overall cleanliness. My first impression during check-in was positive and professional. The front desk greeted us by our last names and also congratulated on our upcoming wedding. We were immediately offered assistance to carry bags to our room. Our room was a Seattle view with a king bed. There were special touches that made our stay memorable and definitely one of a kind. The first thing we noticed was the congratulatory dessert and sparkling wine to celebrate the night before our wedding. The staff had carefully placed the treats on the table and the sparkling wine was presented in an ice bucket with 2 champagne flutes. The next thing we noticed was the pristine condition of the room. The bed was perfectly made, not a spec of dust on any counters, and a fully stocked bathroom. Finally, there was the twice a day hospitality service to ensure the linens were stocked and all guest amenities were provided. Talk about a meticulous approach to make sure that guests are comfortable. This hotel definitely goes out of their way to differentiate themselves from the rest. I recommend visiting the infinity pool on the 4th floor. The pool does close at 10PM. I also recommend grabbing some tea by the elevators. The hotel does provide complimentary herbal teas, honey, eye shades, and even ear plugs to help with sleep and relaxation. I would not hesitate to book this hotel for future stays. read more

Exceptional indeed. Made my visit a hundred times more memorable. I felt transported to a different world while I was there. 5/5 everything!!! Location: Prime location next to Pikes Place market with wonderful panoramic views of Puget Sound from the rooms. I love the location since it is at the end of a big downtown street - very safe and quaint and easy to get to unlike others. They have their own private square. Lots of cool touristy places nearby. Great food establishments as well. So many options. Lobby: Stunning slabs of stone and glass. Very unique design that exudes best in class. The fireplace is funky and welcoming. I sat there many days warming up. It is notched on a corner. Room: What a view of the Puget Sound to start or finish the day with. You can't beat that while still being in the hotspot of downtown. Rooms were absolutely quiet and masterfully designed. Cozy and immaculate and insanely fresh. The enormous Separate bathroom suite was a great idea. Total privacy. The bathroom mirror had a TV inside of it which was the coolest feature I've seen at a hotel thus far. The tub was solid granite and massive. The shower was separate, huge, and had two shower heads. The rain option was soothing. OK I'll stop. The toiletries are all Loccitane and smell great. The sitting area and recliner are relaxing. The office workspace is expansive. The bed was extremely comfortable. The cafe left free fresh granola baking kits in the room. Amazing stuff. What a touch. They also deliver you a free newspaper of your choice everyday in a sleek black decorated vinyl bag. Classy. They also left me fresh snacks and water! Surprise. Staff: The Wake up calls were personal and they even came up and rang my doorbell one day when I left the phone off the hook. They would tell you the weather and ask if you needed their ground car or an umbrella. What service! Nothing like hearing a real nice person telling you it will rain :) . The concierge and front desk staff were so helpful and accommodating. Couldn't ask for more. The front door men were also cook to hang out with and get tips on where to go. They also gave me an umbrella. A nice long one with a wooden handle. The Art restaurant has black cod - give it a try. It is fresh. Price: Worth every penny. I choose to stay here and walk 8 blocks to my conference daily. Pleasant walk and the ground car was available but I wanted to sightsee and get coffee. This place will not disappoint you in any way. Even the street facing rooms are cool and have the Seattle Art Museum view and lights. A true escape. read more
