We came here for a really late lunch after a big hike in Grand Mesa, and it was taco Tuesday! We both got tacos for $5.99 with chips and salsa, which was a really good deal. The tacos were good enough as the usual Tex-Mex tacos you'd expect, and they were quite big. The best part of the visit was the waitress, she was very attentive and happily answered our question as this was our first time in town. read more

A wonderful restaurant at the base of The Grand Mesa in Cedaredge near the intersection of W Main St & N Grand Mesa Dr, we stopped in during our annual Color Drive for some lunch. We were greeted immediately as we entered , and in spite of a fairly busy lunch crowd , were able to be seated at a nice table right away. Our server Shane took excellent care of us, and was well versed in all the menu items, even the ketchup! Long time Colorado Restrauteur, Owner and Chef Travis Holton was lovely to meet and visit with( he even shared his secret to making the perfect Hollandaise Sauce but you'll have to go ask him in person! ). Our lunch was served quickly, and was hot and fresh and delicious! I highly recommend the fish and chips, easily some of the best I've found in all the Grand Valley! We finished with their delightful carrot cake, and left to continue our fall leaf-peeping day very happy having chosen the Lost Mesa Grill in Cedaredge, Colorado for our midday break - you will be too! read more

Great little grill right off the main highway. Had the fish & chips which came with slaw. Wife had the grilled chicken salad with apples, cranberries, pecans & goat cheese. Very fresh and chicken was well cooked & tender. Had the chocolate peanut butter pie for dessert. Yummy! read more

Okay, but it could be so much more. We stopped in last month and had the breakfast scramble . The GOOD: * The wait staff is experienced, friendly, & helpful. * The veggies were good, but the hash browns were frozen. The primary competition serves home fries. * The restaurant has been tastefully remodeled. The BAD: * We are not the only customers who have complained of an excessive amount of time to receive our meals. The kitchen staff appears to have not yet gotten their act together. People do not want to wait 35+ minutes to receive a simple breakfast! * The coffee is bad. Peets & Starbucks showed over a decade ago how coffee should be brewed, so we find no excuse for coffee this weak. It is certainly not worth $2. We will try the Lost Mesa Grill again, this time for lunch or dinner. The fish tacos have received good reviews. read more

We had an excellent meal outdoors under the tent. All Covid precautions were taken and Nelly, our waitress, was very friendly & knowledgable. Chicken Fried Steak was moist and perfectly cooked, homemade mashed potatoes & gravy! Well-marbled ribeye, perfectly cooked. Tater Tots crispy and baby back rib meat fell off the bone.
