My husband ordered a sandwich and the girl made it and when it was done being I'm the oven the guy grabbed it out of the oven, gave the girl a really nasty look and asked my husband if he ordered extra meat and he said no so he proceeded to take the sandwich apart and threw some of the meat in the trash and so my husband asked what he was doing and he said he would have to charge him if he wanted the extra meat. My husband was so embarrassed at how he was treated when it was their error. After we ate my husband let him know how he made him feel. What a horrible experience and we won't be back. A male food-prep worker with short, dark hair was preparing a salad in the restaurant kitchen…read more While making the salad, he deliberately SPIT into it, knowingly contaminating the food. Despite what he had done, he continued preparing the dish as though nothing had happened. After finishing the salad, the food-prep worker handed it to a waitress without telling her what he had done. The waitress, unaware that the food had been contaminated, proceeded to take the salad out to the dining area to be served to customers. This was an extremely serious violation of food-safety standards and could have put customers at risk of becoming ill. Food should always be prepared hygienically and handled responsibly, and intentionally contaminating food is unacceptable in a restaurant setting.

We were promptly seated and the waiter came right away to take our drink order. My husband ordered a latte, which was delicious and generous. For our meals I chose the chicken, green apple salad and my husband ordered the stuffed French Toasts. We both loved our food! The salad was big, with juice grilled chicken breast and a light and tangy vinaigrette. The French Toasts were one of the best he's ever had (his words). The place is big, really clean and spacious. At 30 minutes I went up and asked and was told they couldn't find, us so they seated another party. We weren't outside or even in another part of the building. We were sitting at the coffee table with four chairs. EXACTLY WHERE THE HOST TOLD IS TO SIT! Got seated. 15 minutes and finally someone came to get our drink orders. That took another 20 minutes to get. Ordered our food. I ordered the chicken fried steak. Twice I tried to flag down someone, anyone, for more gravy as there was a pitiful amount on the steak. Got the gravy and dug in. Steak was WAY over cooked. It was so dry. The breading was tough and crunchy, burned on the bottom. We tried flagging down someone to tell them, plus all our drinks had been empty for quite a while. After 20 minutes I gave up and attempted to eat around the yuck! Ate about half, but couldn't handle any more. When we were done, we showed and explained why I hadn't eaten much. She said "sorry about that", and cleared our plates. When she dropped off the bill, we expected a small discount for my subpar meal. NOPE! Paid full price! We won't be back. Drinks never got refilled. No one came at any time to see how things were. My chicken fried steak was leather with over cooked breading. Using the excuse that they were understaffed is not the customers fault. As busy as they were, reservations would have simplified things for the host, the servers, the bartenders and the kitchen staff!
