6" turkey and provolone sub
Karen M.

This seems like a family-run establishment that is a market and deli. They have a variety of dry goods, canned goods, jellies, jams, meats and cheeses. They also have a deli that cranks out sub sandwiches. The deli uses a paper-ordering system. Write your name and your selections (meat choice, dressings, lettuce, etc) and your name and they make to order. They are not skimpy on the meats and cheeses, which was nice. My bread, though, was dry so I ended up just eating the meat and cheese. On the day I visited they also were serving pulled pork sandwiches as a special. I like supporting non-chain restaurants. They have outdoor seating but none indoors. I guess you'll have to eat in your car during the winter or take your Sammie to go.

Small but substantial come to mind. Bought three small sandwiches, found some local jam and goods and will be back again. Pastrami was unreal!!

Sandwiches are great! Lots of other yummy stuff as well. Best deli in town. Large variety of cheeses, pickled items, and jams.

A year ago, while attending the Palisade Lavender Festival, my husband and I visited Sprigs and…read moreSprouts. This lovely shop carries a variety of items - we bought lavender plants and some flavored balsamic vinegars and oils but they have many more items. The plants are thriving and we've been enjoying the vinegars and oil. Recently, I tried drizzling strawberry basil vinegar over half my mozzarella Caprese salad and tangerine over the other half. My guests loved the flavors. Today we decided to add more flavors to our pantry. The proprietresses were extremely helpful. We tried many flavors and flavor combinations and were given great ideas on which foods went best with them. We also found a spice blend that is flavorful and versatile. We more than doubled our existing vinegars and oils. Some will be gifts but the rest will enhance dishes from salads to desserts. If you find yourself near Palisade, Colorado, we recommend visiting this business. It has wide range of products in an attractive setting and knowledgeable staff.

If you don't like floral then the ice cream might not be for you but if you are ok w eating floral flavors - the peach lavender ice cream was my favorite! They also offer a rich chocolate lavender one and a vanilla based lavender ice cream. Picked up some spray and essential oils too. Love this place when we come to Palisade and the farm is so serene and beautiful! Brings calmness within me when I visit. That's what you want on vacation right?

Love the Olive Oil and the Balsamic. I went in today to purchase a gift. Bought the 6 pack of…read moresamplers. The cost was $36.00. I was told that they would not give me a credit on the "thank you" loyalty card. If I had purchased a $36.00 single bottle, they would have. Struggling to understand the splitting of hairs on this. I don't mind the premium pricing for a premium product, but not getting credit for a equal/simular purchase seemed odd. Left a sour taste for me.

You'll never drive by Grand Junction again without picking up some goodies here…read more This is one of those uniquely 5 stars places, you want to stop by every time your in the area. I just spent a few minutes in the store, out of curiosity, and ended up staying much longer because this is a place I'll be stopping by often. Why in the world would you spend 25 minutes in a vinegar shop? Because I just discovered that my favorite salad and bread dipping balsamic vinegar can be so much more than I've ever imagined. I've been using "balsamic" vinegar for a very long time. When I run out I go to the market, stop by the vinegar display, pick a Balsamic vinegar, and voila' check it off my shopping list. The only difference I've noticed is the labeling. Those days are officially past. Once in a while, I find a product that is amazingly good, and inevitably it's in a shop that's a bit inconvenient to get to. For example, there is one chocolate shop in New York City, that is the only outlet in the US for chocolate confections that are just sublimely superior to any other chocolate I've tasted anywhere in the world. Today, if I don't come home with a couple of boxes, you'll know I did not really make it to Manhatten. Bella Balsamic is right on the edge of becoming one of those special places The next time you're cruising past the Grand Junction signs on I70, take a long enough break to stop by this shop, pick out the vinegar you won't find anywhere else, Then go to the closed restaurant where you can get"naked' no dressing salad, use your new favorite dressing on it and savor the most flavorful low calorie meal you will remember.
