(See pics) You can also order any meat or cheese they have for like $1 extra, and can also add more meats too for extra. Bread super soft and fresh, Ingredients fresh. Very good size portions: 6 inch or 12 inch long by about 4inch wide! Good fair prices. Good ambiance 4/5, clean and organized! Cute items to find and try! Candy, snacks, jellies, baking supplies, gifts, cheese, deli meats, cookies, specialty frozen meals/casseroles, drinks and more! Seating available outside to side of store. Extra parking available behind store. Service 5/5. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Deli gals were quick and efficient and quick to ask questions to make your sandwich perfect! Will definitely be back.

They also have a deli that cranks out sub sandwiches. The deli uses a paper-ordering system. Write your name and your selections (meat choice, dressings, lettuce, etc) and your name and they make to order. They are not skimpy on the meats and cheeses, which was nice. My bread, though, was dry so I ended up just eating the meat and cheese. On the day I visited they also were serving pulled pork sandwiches as a special. I like supporting non-chain restaurants. They have outdoor seating but none indoors. I guess you'll have to eat in your car during the winter or take your Sammie to go.

oh! so good! looking forward to returning again…read more... Food as good as atmosphere. A rare find these days! Worth the drive from Fruita.

We knew Fathers Day would be busy. They weren't taking reservations (which would have helped). We…read morechecked in and were told 25 minutes for three people. At 30 minutes I went up and asked and was told they couldn't find, us so they seated another party. We weren't outside or even in another part of the building. We were sitting at the coffee table with four chairs. EXACTLY WHERE THE HOST TOLD IS TO SIT! Got seated. 15 minutes and finally someone came to get our drink orders. That took another 20 minutes to get. Ordered our food. I ordered the chicken fried steak. Twice I tried to flag down someone, anyone, for more gravy as there was a pitiful amount on the steak. Got the gravy and dug in. Steak was WAY over cooked. It was so dry. The breading was tough and crunchy, burned on the bottom. We tried flagging down someone to tell them, plus all our drinks had been empty for quite a while. After 20 minutes I gave up and attempted to eat around the yuck! Ate about half, but couldn't handle any more. When we were done, we showed and explained why I hadn't eaten much. She said "sorry about that", and cleared our plates. When she dropped off the bill, we expected a small discount for my subpar meal. NOPE! Paid full price! We won't be back. Drinks never got refilled. No one came at any time to see how things were. My chicken fried steak was leather with over cooked breading. Using the excuse that they were understaffed is not the customers fault. As busy as they were, reservations would have simplified things for the host, the servers, the bartenders and the kitchen staff!

I need more stars for this one…read more Thank God DeVito's was closed yesterday. We ended up here instead. I had the Trough Burger, medium well, with German speatzle. The burger stood about a foot tall. Like a soldier; pulled the toothpick out and it didn't budge. Someone built this monster with precision. Seeing what it looked like after being sliced in half made my jaw drop. The layers are well thought out and engineered to perfection. The bun was soft, the aioli was *chefs kiss*. The burger meat was juicy and flavorful; melt in your mouth. The bacon had the perfect snap to it, and the egg.... The egg was fried with intention; crispy edges and shiny yolk, teasing a slight ooze. I forgot, the bottom has a layer of shoestring fries covered in that bomb aioli... that was special. Setting atop all that goodness is a layer of avocado fries. Literally one of the best things I've eaten. Ever. I've travelled to 38 countries on five continents. I've had burgers in most of them; this one has left a mark on my heart. I will be back. It's going to be difficult to order anything else, but I truly have a list of what I want to try on the menu now.

The fish was overcooked with no seasoning however it wasn't fish so with a little salt and lemon it was quite good (I love the flavor of mahi and don't need much on it). The pasta had a light buttery lemon sauce which was good, asparagus also quite good. The others in my party got edamame, a club sandwich and the light portion of fried cod and liked it a lot. The tea was really good and strong. Service was good and we didn't wait very long for our food. The added a 2% fee for splitting the bill two ways. Solid choice.
