Stopped here en route to hiking trails. Friendly staff & great yummy options. Place is also very clean & adorable wooden buildout. Can't wait to try my goodies

For me, coffee shops can be a difficult thing to attach a star rating to, simply because of my experience in running them, but I will venture out and slap it with a three, mainly for it's absentee owners and only semi-knowledgeable baristas. The location is well situated for those heading north, and only slightly inconvenient for those going the wrong way. The coffee is locally roasted and they have a great tea selection. The prices are a bit high compared to the un-named international coffee shop, whose logo is green and circular, and who has their own satellite radio station. I guess the comparison is only valid if there is a *bucks in the same vicinity, which is not the case here. Expect to spend $5.50 for a 16 oz. soy mocha, no frills, and $3.50 for a 16 oz. tea. Ouch! The interior is quaint and extends a welcoming gesture to the weary traveler, with a couple wing-back chairs and wall hanging of yesteryear's aviational prowess. I strongly recommend asking for a yerba mate latte, which is not on the menu. It's mild and soothing, at least until the caffeine enters the blood stream.

All their tips are folded dollars!

Grabbed an after lunch coffee before we hit the road. The barista was super friendly! We had a latte, cold brew, and Americans. Overall decent coffee and they give you a complimentary chocolate covered coffee bean.

I recommend something called a John Wayne. It will get your morning started right if you're in need of a little kick.

A nice cozy shop with local art to purchase! I have to say the coffee is freaking amazing. I can't…read moreremember what it is called, but was featured on the local favorite menu. It was honey, cinnamon, and coffee. I drank the whole thing. I thank the barista for their recommendation. For anyone who finds themselves in Delta, this is the coffee shop to visit.

I was in CO visiting my family recently and decided to see if there were any coffee shops around I…read morehadn't tried when this place caught my eye. So one morning my husband and I got here when it opened and were pleasantly surprised by every aspect of this place. Super fun, welcoming, funky, artsy vibes. They have art for sale on the walls from local artists. Eclectic furniture for lounging, working or studying. They had a few games for playing, an area for littlie kids to play. The walls that were covered in art also had little areas of exposed brick that I found super cute. We ended up getting a few coffee's for us and to take home to some of our family. Everyone really enjoyed their coffee's. Our favorite one was The Grind, white & dark chocolate, amaretto, hazelnut, and an extra shot of espresso. I highly recommend getting it hot. It was devine! They also served assorted pastries and bagels. We got a Blueberry Scone and a Jalapeno Bagel. Both were perfect. There was young man and woman who opened the shop and helped us out. They were both friendly and warm. Not long after we got there the place was packed. They did a great job of keeping up and being friendly. I could hear that a lot of people who came in were regulars. Always a good sign! So you can be sure that anytime I visit my grandparents I will also be visiting Doghouse Espresso!
