This is very cute cafe, serving parfait, soft drinks and caramel pudding. They also offer ice cream in summertime. The decoration is very cute and Instagram-friendly; filled with aesthetic Japanese decorations. They have opened early October and very quickly became popular; so, they operate on reservations only and don't accept walk-ins during busy hours. We were very impressed with what they have done. We ordered "Tropical Love" and "Matcha Mystery" parfaits and "Matcha Coconut Drink", "Caramel Pudding" and "Matcha Ice Cream". I really loved the fact that desserts weren't too sweet; right amount of sugar, exactly how I liked. Matcha ice cream was very delicious and was a great addition to our parfait.

I was one of the first to try out this cafe when it first opened I was excited to try out all of their parfaits as their illustrations are SO cute, but unfortunately the desserts did not meet half of the expectations nor on par of their drawing illustrations I got the matcha and melon ones and both tasted just like amateur dessert lover trying to mimic some cute looking Japanese style parfait The fruits was cut in irregular shapes and the taste of both items were not in harmony with any of the items The yogurt in the matcha parfait is too sour, and the cream cheese mochi in melon parfait tastes like a big chuck of cream cheese that stick to your teeth I understand the owner care a lot about the feedbacks but it shows how unprepared she is and how she's still figuring out what ratio and taste is good, very armature vibe, I felt like I paid $30 for an experiment she's testing not for me to enjoy a well made dessert , even though all of the ingredients are Asian supermarket premade.. I did voice my concern on what I just listed here and she said I could order the strawberry pudding next time because the actual item looks more close to their illustrations .. I do agree we don't really have this kind of cafe in Toronto and the location is amazing, but as someone who've been to numerous great Japanese cafe I can't justify going there just for the "vibe" and settle for mediocre amateur desserts. I'll probably not go back

I love ginger beverages- it wasn't overpowering here, I mostly tasted the kiwi and sparkling lemonade. It was busy in there but we still got our orders and drinks quickly, I appreciate how fast the service was. My friend got one of their banana bread drinks - if you like the taste of hojicha, this was particularly strong which I personally enjoyed! Love how the store also has sections where it is like a little market selling local goods and always fun to see the dogs that are sitting outside. The prices are a little expensive (my refresher before tax was $7.5) but typical for what you'd pay in Toronto for a fun drink, from what I've seen.

I'd absolutely come here to get some work done if I was able to get a seat. One thing I really love is that they sell handmade goods from local artists and host craft nights, it feels very community driven and adds such a fun, unique touch to the café. Drinks I tried: Maple Goguma Latte - Slightly nutty, lightly sweet, and super comforting. I added a shot of espresso, which made it perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Dalgona Latte - A really fun drink with great texture. Just make sure to stir it well since the sweetness settles at the bottom. They're known for their creative, seasonal drink menu, and I'm already excited to come back to try what they release next season. Definitely a must-visit if you love cozy cafés, unique drinks, and supporting local artists.

This second location is located outside on the beautifully picturesque cobblestone road named Temperance Street. The building is historic and the calm interiors make you feel instantly at home. The staff was really nice and told me about their menu and seasonal items. In addition to coffee and matcha based beverages, the store offers food and merch as well. Apparently this location is a laptop free zone, offering an incredibly welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of financial district. Today I ordered a cortado. Before you even drink it, the fragrant coffee smell hits you. A bit sweet and almost fruity. When drinking it, the flavours amplify and provide an overall sense of calm, a breath of fresh air. It doesn't just feel like a regular old coffee but that you can take your time with it, like having a conversation with an old friend, it is meant to be savoured. I absolutely plan to go back for one of their seasonal matcha beverages and to get away from it all. 5/5

The café itself is beautiful and has a very modern, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. It was extremely busy during my visit, which is always a good sign. Because of the rush, a few tables still had dishes waiting to be cleared, making it a little difficult for some customers to find a place to sit. The tables are also fairly close together, but that's understandable given the downtown Toronto setting. The smoked salmon croissant was the highlight of my meal. It was fresh, flavorful, and packed with ingredients that worked really well together. I would absolutely order it again. My only disappointment was the latte. It looked beautiful and tasted good, but it was served warm rather than hot. Since our breakfast arrived about 10 minutes after our drinks, my coffee had become even cooler by the time I started eating, which took away from the experience. Overall, I still enjoyed my visit and would definitely give Nonni Cafe & Bakery another try. The friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere, and delicious food make it a great spot for a relaxed breakfast or coffee date.

This coffee shop is nestled semi-behind a pillar beside the lobby of the Intercontinental hotel Toronto, which adds to its charm for me, in a way. Love finding a good "hole in the wall" :) I love the bright, feminine, beachy decor and coral pink & aqua blue accents. It's not too tropical, but it definitely transports you outside of Canada. Coupled with Aussie staples like vegemite and Noosa magazines (takes me straight back there!), as well as gorgeous ceramic coffee mugs for purchase, the vibes are great here. While it is a smaller shop, there is enough seating for 3 tables, and it's very cozy. Had to go for a flat white, given the Aussie homage here. This one got my approval (and I'm picky about my flat whites) - they used a lighter, more balanced espresso roast, paired with just the right amount of creamy frothed milk. They also had a banana bread latte that my companion really enjoyed too! Looking forward to my next visit!

It's a tiny, cozy place with only a couple tables and tall chairs, so they can really only accommodate grab-and-go orders, other than a few people to sit or work. Perfect for a coffee before a Jays game or if you're here for a conference next door. I realized it was already late fall and I hadn't yet had my one and only PSL of the year, so that's what I ordered. It was decent as far as PSL's go and came with a lovely little foam pumpkin on top. Tres adorbs. The iced strawberry matcha latte also looked incredible and I had order envy. My friend ordered a pastry and said it was delicious. They also have a great little selection of food items, canned bevvies, coffee beans, teas, as well as souvenir gifts for purchase such as ceramic mugs. Did I mention the coffee was really good?
