First of all, the hostess made sure we were seated exactly where we wanted to be, the waitress was very helpful in explaining the items on the menu, she made recommendations for us to try also. Our food came out quick and so did our drinks . I highly recommend the fried lobster Cajun pasta , it's full of so much flavor & has the right amount of kick to it. The fried lobster was crisp and delicious. I would have been satisfied just eating the fried lobster tails , that's how good they were . The jerk lamb & eggs is another dish I recommend. Visited on a Sunday 5/29/26 at 5pm. I had very high expectations from the positive reviews I've seen online. I have a shellfish allergy so i immediately asked the bartender if the chicken was fried in the same grease as the lobster bites he informed me that the same grease was used, i then inquired about the fries and if they were fried in the same grease as well, the bartender told me that all fried food was fried in the same grease. With my allergy that left me with very little options. The manager was never called to converse with me about my allergy nor was i offered any other food suggestions only alcohol. We wanted to experience one last restaurant in Houston before we went to the airport so decided to go to "Lost and Found". Now they don't accept reservations it's first come first serve. They do have valet parking so you wouldn't have to find anywhere due to the limit parking spaces they have for the restaurant. They had a wait but it wasn't as long as they thought it was going to be but I figure they have to tell you it's a 20-30 minute wait. The food was pretty reasonable with different types of choices to choose from. They have signature drinks k however they do have a full bar to make your choice. I've heard so many good things about Lost and Found, I knew I needed to try it for myself. When I first arrived, I realized parking was scarce. I did notice a lot that you could park in, but it was valet only which I thought was interesting. Therefore, if you do not want to pay for parking, you have to park on a side street (although, I should mention there are like 4 spots directly next to the building that seems to be free parking). Upon making it into the restaurant, I was promptly seated. I think the ambiance was super fun and the music was great. Lost&Found had a lot of cocktails to choose from, although, I didn't try anything on the day I went. For lunch, I ordered the cajun pasta with shrimp and crawfish. I thought it came out perfectly. It was seasoned incredibly well and I loved how the veggies were incorporated. I did wish that the garlic bread was baked a touch longer, but ultimately, I found that this dish was awesome. I did not like That they were charging $40 for valet parking and they also don't have a proper system to keep track of guest parties. It's first come first served so you have to wait in line even if it is raining or you will lose your spot. The place was dirty, from The table and floors to the menus being greasy. There was also two police officers there so kinda tells you what kind of crowd visits this place. There's a lot of room especially outside so it would be nice on a sunny day but again just not my vibe or my kind of crowd. We never went long without someone checking on us. We had the fried thigh combo and the lobster Cajun pasta. Both meals were absolutely delicious! Not sure if they're under new management but the new manager Chad came by all the tables to introduce himself and check on things which was nice. Our waiter Jamaul was very helpful and attentive. I got the shrimp and salmon platter which was very good. My date got the lamb chops which he also liked but couldn't really eat with the plastic utensils they give everyone. I asked for a real knife and they provided it to him. I got the sidekick drink and it was yummy. Now for the bad From what I could see it wasn't packed but there was a long line/wait. They have a queue of chairs under an awning in the parking lot and apparently you're supposed to be in order of arrival and in those chairs and move down every time a table leaves the queue to be seated. If things get out of order or if a 2 top is available be fore a 4 or inside before outside it gets thrown off. We were told it would be a 10 minute wait and ended up being 30-40 with ppl who arrived after us being seated before. While I appreciated having a seat while I wait I think they would implement a proper waitlist where they take your name, number of people and preferred inside or outside seating so they can call you in the proper order.
