The food itself was good, but overall the experience didn't quite live up to the price point. The portions are very small for what you're paying. My boyfriend ordered a side of fries and literally got 10 fries for $8 -- not an exaggeration. The wings, which used to be a favorite, are now noticeably smaller than they used to be. Drinks were okay, but also on the smaller side. I also wasn't a fan of the automatic 20% gratuity -- I don't mind tipping for good service, but I prefer having the choice, especially when the value doesn't match the price. Brunch with some friends. Definitely get there early to be seated. The wait is crazy around 12/1 on the weekends. They do have valet which I recommend otherwise you will be making a trek from somewhere in a distant neighborhood. Cute vibe on the inside. It has a tropical feel to it. The drink I ordered was very cute and strong. One was enough for me. I ordered a seafood omelet which was cool. I got the sauce on the side because I didn't know what It would taste like. Let me start by saying that, based on the preview of the restaurant on the website, I was predisposed to love the place. And the decor and the food and the service was really good. This is where it gets weird. We were already parked in the lot and sat at our table when the valet comes in to tell us we need to pay $40 to park in the lot (per car) or pay $20 to have the valet take our car to the secured lot (per car). That's extreme. And there's only signage that says street parking isn't safe to use the paid lot or the valet. No where does it say that the valet is $40 a car (at breakfast!) or that the lot we had already parked in was valet only or where the other lot was for $20. That should be established by signage at the valet stand or at the entrance to the lot. It should at least be somewhere on the website that this is the parking situation. Once we resolved that (by moving our cars), we ordered, ate our food, but didn't linger. And it's sad because the food was good and our server was a delight. I might've stayed there longer and ate and drank more....but it's just as well that I didn't because the tab for a table for four was $197. I guess if we have one $38 carafe of mimosas (which was classic orange but they may have upcharged us for pineapple since they didn't have orange juice), and ok, I had $19 pancakes, and a $20 breakfast sandwich, plus a cajun pasta and jerk lamb and eggs which were more, I guess I can get there. But when the server presented the check, there was an option for a 3, 5, or 7% tip. So, that's when the server explained there's a 23% service charge to cover all servers, food runners, etc. So 3, 5 or 7% additional would go only to the server. I shouldn't learn about it after the meal by noticing that the tip amount options weren't the usual 15, 20, 22, or 25% amounts and asking the server for more details. When she presented the bill, she listed out what we'd ordered which was correct then presented me the toast machine with the total. Again, this should be on the website, the menu, or both. Over $200 for a table of four for breakfast for an hour was not what we were expecting. If we'd have thrown another $40-80 on top of that for parking, well, I know it's midtown but it's not in midtown Manhattan. It was a bummer. We won't be back and it's not the servers' or the kitchen's fault. Management should really do better by them and their customers. read more

Ok Parking-small lot but valet is available. We took a Uber. We came from the airport and they noticed and offered to allow us to store bags at the front desk. Very cool. There is a 15 minute grace period for reservations, after that you're considered walk in. They gave us extra grace because we were traveling and needed to get back to the airport. Plus it was our birthday! When I say the vegetable Cajun pasta was DELICIOUS! My friend had the seafood version and her reviews were 10 out of 10 as well. The sides were disappointing so skip on the collard greens, Mac n cheese, and sweet potatoes. Just go with the garlic mashed potatoes if you want to try a side. We had mimosas. The bottle was priced reasonably at $33 dollars. Service was good. You do have to provide a credit card at the beginning for them to "hold". Not worth it. The food was good but the service is terrible. And the food being good was not worth what the prices are. The aesthetic was whatever. You can find somewhere better in Houston honestly. They automatically add 20% service charge and it has it at the bottom in tiny letters. The waitresses take their sweet time because they are getting that tip regardless of the service. Also, when you order, be prepared to wait at least an hour for the food which is crazy because we ordered pancakes and a waffle. I would not go back. Had a long weekend in Houston and wanted to experience a good brunch so we came here. The best part of the experience was the service. The server was top notch, she gave us the honest opinions of what was good and what wasn't the best option. We started our meal with the mimosas and we got passion fruit and strawberry and we loved the passion fruit. I ordered the chicken and waffles with the hot honey sauce on the side. Me and a friend visiting from out of town decided to eat here last night. The ambience and customer service were great as well as the drinks. We both decided to get the Cajun Pasta, mines arrived before my friends did. As I was going to start eating my food, a baby roach crawled from under the Texas toast and onto the edge of the plate. I was truly disgusted and gave the food back to my server. I don't know how clean the kitchen is in the back, but this was disturbing as a first impression. I'm writing this review almost a year later (it completely slipped my mind). It was our first time in Houston and we wanted to go to all the hot spots and that's exactly what we did. Lost and found was first on the list so On October 26, 2021 we came here and everything was good until it was time to pay... we were told that they didn't accept chime cards. After 20 minutes of going back and forth the issue was resolved but still left a bad taste in our mouth... Hopefully chime cards are accepted now with no issues or people are told BEFORE they actually sit and eat. The food, drinks and vibe was actually really good. I visited Lost and Found on 12AUG25. Coincidentally, we went during happy hour. The appetizers and drinks were discounted at a more than fair price. My dinner date and me had the Fried Lobster Bites and the Wings. The lobster bites were pretty good, but the highlight of the appetizers were definitely the naked wings. The wings by themselves were well flavorful before the addition of sauces, but adding a delicious tangy and sweet sauce Hennessy sauce to an already perfectly fried wing is a spectacular almost overkill of flavor...in the best way! During our dinning experience, we had a manager come to the table, introduce himself, and conduct quality control and accept feedback. I always appreciate this service from the management team from restaurants. At that time, I had no complaints, so I informed him the food was excellent. Shortly thereafter, I received my main course meal. I selected the BBQ Salmon. I elected to have the sauce on the side. The salmon was flaky, adequately seasoned, and well-cooked. I assume I handicapped the salmon though by choosing the sauce on the side. Even if I didn't, the salmon was delicious. The green beans that came with the meal were also delicious. Went here on a Sunday for brunch. We arrived about 30 minutes before opening and waited in line for about 20 minutes after opening. We ordered a bunch of stuff for the table. The short rib was my least favorite. It was tender but extremely fatty and not visually appealing. The Lobster Cajun pasta was my favorite. The pasta was cooked well and it had lots of flavor and seafood inside. My friends tried the lobster biscuit and thought it was ok. We had the fried salmon and grits which was good. I've had Lost and Found on my radar since I began making an itinerary for my trip to Houston. The fried salmon really caught my eyes and creative craft cocktails. The service here is good. Hence the 4 stars of approval. We arrived after 8:00 p.m. and immediately saw a rather long line in the parking lot for dining. There is a nice shaded area for those waiting to be seated. There is indoor and outdoor dining available and Houston's favorite activity, Hookah. We decided to dine indoors to enjoy the aesthetics of the decor and to avoid the hookah smoke and odor. We declined the craft cocktails and ordered dinner plates. My friend had the barbecue grilled salmon plate with collards greens and a corn dish. I had to have the fried salmon, collard greens and macaroni and cheese. My friend also ordered Jalapeño Cornbread. It was ok. It needed more cornbread batter and more of the gritty taste. A little weak. The fried salmon is the best. The crispy batter, moist salmon paired with lemon tarter sauce is out of this world good. The collard greens are spicy. Be very mindful. My friend did not enjoy them. I did however. The Mac & cheese was just ok for me. Too soup like in texture and should have been baked more to be crisp and brown on top. The Cajun flavor was the selling point but resulted in me spending the morning on the toilet. The cocktails here look amazing and I find them affordable. The decor and aesthetics were lacking here for me. Some areas of the restaurant need work and the furniture needs to be reconsidered and replaced. The outdoor treehouse vibes were cute but after awhile it just felt like a backyard porch. I could not dine there with the hookah smoke flying in from the fans. The music was a miss for me. After seeing IG stories about how cool this place is, I finally got to experience it. Did sunday brunch, and when you walk in the place, it is a gorgeous tropical paradise! We had mimosa carafes of all flavors, none disappointed. I finally got some greens on my plate in texas, so that made life better! I had some sweet potato Pancake goodness... did need a little more of what they put on top tho... and some lemon pepper chicken. It was as I expected good. Love LOST & FOUND! This is my second time dining here and I've experienced lunch and their weekend brunch. Khalil was our server, very attentive and HONEST! I ordered the Cajun pasta, and it was very seasoned and not "salty" . My French 75 was absolutely delicious and we even stayed for Happy Hour! Try the frozen Cadillac Margarita- and thank me later! The manager KD , checked on us multiple times and it wasn't annoying- you can tell he wanted to ensure we were having a great time. The playlist was A1 . The bartender seemed to be a little flustered but it was all good. The bar was pretty busy and we got a lot of drinks lol plus she was taking our food orders as well. This was not my first time at Lost & Found and will not be the last. We went here to celebrate a birthday and we ubered because we knew that we would be drinking and that was definitely the right move as the drinks were strong and we had quite a few shots. We a few rounds of the 'After Brunch Text' and it never misses. We also ordered the 'Pineaplpe Upside-Down Cake' but I personally wasn't a big fan of this one. I did have the 'Bayou City Punch' as well and it was good but took me quite a while to finish as the shots were getting to me, lol. For my meal, I had the Homemade Belgian Waffle and 4 Fried Wings. The waffle was nice and fluffy and came with syrup on the bottom that added the perfect amount of sweetness. The 'wings' were more of wing dings, not full wings. They also could've been fried harder but overall pretty good. I also got a side of cajun grits which were definitely very flavorful but could've been a little thicker. My friends had the lobster cajun pasta(10/10), sweet potato pancakes (7/10), fried salmon (10/10), seafood omelette (6/10) and cajun pasta with chicken (9/10). My husband and I just love this place, but with one exception. First off, we've always loved the food...especially the Cajun pasta and fried wings. They are great! BUT, if it's only two of us, why do we have to pay gratuity?!!! I think that is a total insult! When we've visited before, there were 7 of us, I can understand paying gratuity, but not for two people. At this point, that's just a money grab from all angles. So now, we order it to go. In Houston, we've never had this problem until everyone started moving to our amazing city.
