I arrived 10 mins prior and was told I could not enter and to wait outside for the host (which is understandable). However, there was no host to come out to get me and my party for 20 minutes. They advertised happy hour but there was no happy hour menu which was another con. You have to ask your server to give off all of the options. Came to visit a friend in Houston and the first place she recommended was Lost & Found so I had very high expectations. I was not disappointed with the food, drinks, and most of all - the VIBE! The music and the people definitely made the experience that much more enjoyable. For drinks, we ordered the Electric Feel, Mexican Mule, and the Tiki Smash. We all loved our drinks & they were so yummy. For food, we ordered the Cajun pasta, fried thigh combo, and the jerk lamb chops. I will say the Cajun pasta was almost a little too spicy for me, but still enjoyable regardless. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the shrimp had a great flavor. Everyone else had nothing but good things to say about their meals. Our server took great care of us and gave the best recommendations. The food is beyond great and very seasoned. The food actually tastes like it's your grandma in the kitchen. Our party had a reservation for 12 and one more person was added at the end. However the server Brittany was able to make arrangement without any issues or attitude so that we all were able to sit together and we truly appreciate her for that. There's different kind of music playing while you enjoy your great eats, if you sit outside you're able to get hookah service. The restaurant decor is very pretty and photo ready. Went here for the first time for a friend's birthday. It's a trendy place that features loud music, bright colors, plenty of TVs, a Flower Wall and an outdoor patio area with hookah bar. Their menu is mainly seafood as southern comfort along with signature cocktails. At my friend's recommendation, I got the Fried Chicken Wings with collard greens, Mac n cheese and lemon pepper sauce. Chicken was good! Very crispy and flavorful. Collard greens were cooked and seasoned well (not too salty or peppery) and had some bacon bits. Mac n cheese was also crazy good! They do offer valet, but it costs $20?? Not sure why it is that high (maybe they have small lot since the neighborhood is very dense) but seems like too much. I'll start with the good which is the food and service. I came on a Friday night for dinner. Not sure if they're under new management but the new manager Chad came by all the tables to introduce himself and check on things which was nice. Our waiter Jamaul was very helpful and attentive. I got the shrimp and salmon platter which was very good. My date got the lamb chops which he also liked but couldn't really eat with the plastic utensils they give everyone. I asked for a real knife and they provided it to him. I got the sidekick drink and it was yummy. Now for the bad From what I could see it wasn't packed but there was a long line/wait. They have a queue of chairs under an awning in the parking lot and apparently you're supposed to be in order of arrival and in those chairs and move down every time a table leaves the queue to be seated. If things get out of order or if a 2 top is available be fore a 4 or inside before outside it gets thrown off. We were told it would be a 10 minute wait and ended up being 30-40 with ppl who arrived after us being seated before. While I appreciated having a seat while I wait I think they would implement a proper waitlist where they take your name, number of people and preferred inside or outside seating so they can call you in the proper order. Went there for brunch, and ordered orange juice and coffee when we sat down. 25 minutes later, informed that the coffee was still brewing, and they had no orange juice. So ordered another coffee and asked for almond milk. No milk alternatives, so asked for sugar. One coffee came out and had to tell them to bring the 2nd one and sugar. Sugar came out and no spoons so had to ask for that. Ordered the jerk lamb chops. They were the most expensive thing on the menu at $57. Have no idea why they are priced so high. Came out with no marinade or seasoning and nothing "jerk" about it. Overdone cooked well, and had a side of straight Worcestershire sauce from the bottle. Collard greens were good. Charged $3 to sub potatoes instead of eggs. Boyfriend got a breakfast sandwich, which he said was good, and it came with fries out of a bag. Who puts fries with brunch? I've had Lost and Found on my radar since I began making an itinerary for my trip to Houston. The fried salmon really caught my eyes and creative craft cocktails. The service here is good. Hence the 4 stars of approval. We arrived after 8:00 p.m. and immediately saw a rather long line in the parking lot for dining. There is a nice shaded area for those waiting to be seated. There is indoor and outdoor dining available and Houston's favorite activity, Hookah. We decided to dine indoors to enjoy the aesthetics of the decor and to avoid the hookah smoke and odor. We declined the craft cocktails and ordered dinner plates. My friend had the barbecue grilled salmon plate with collards greens and a corn dish. I had to have the fried salmon, collard greens and macaroni and cheese. My friend also ordered Jalapeño Cornbread. It was ok. It needed more cornbread batter and more of the gritty taste. A little weak. The fried salmon is the best. The crispy batter, moist salmon paired with lemon tarter sauce is out of this world good. The collard greens are spicy. Be very mindful. My friend did not enjoy them. I did however. The Mac & cheese was just ok for me. Too soup like in texture and should have been baked more to be crisp and brown on top. The Cajun flavor was the selling point but resulted in me spending the morning on the toilet. The cocktails here look amazing and I find them affordable. The decor and aesthetics were lacking here for me. Some areas of the restaurant need work and the furniture needs to be reconsidered and replaced. I'm writing this review almost a year later (it completely slipped my mind). It was our first time in Houston and we wanted to go to all the hot spots and that's exactly what we did. Lost and found was first on the list so On October 26, 2021 we came here and everything was good until it was time to pay... we were told that they didn't accept chime cards. After 20 minutes of going back and forth the issue was resolved but still left a bad taste in our mouth... Ok Parking-small lot but valet is available. We took a Uber. We came from the airport and they noticed and offered to allow us to store bags at the front desk. Very cool. There is a 15 minute grace period for reservations, after that you're considered walk in. They gave us extra grace because we were traveling and needed to get back to the airport. Plus it was our birthday! When I say the vegetable Cajun pasta was DELICIOUS! My friend had the seafood version and her reviews were 10 out of 10 as well. The sides were disappointing so skip on the collard greens, Mac n cheese, and sweet potatoes. Just go with the garlic mashed potatoes if you want to try a side. We had mimosas. The bottle was priced reasonably at $33 dollars. Service was good. You do have to provide a credit card at the beginning for them to "hold". This was kind of crappy as it was raining on and off throughout our wait. I would say we waited outside for about 45 mins, before being seated. Went here on a Sunday for brunch. We arrived about 30 minutes before opening and waited in line for about 20 minutes after opening. We ordered a bunch of stuff for the table. The short rib was my least favorite. It was tender but extremely fatty and not visually appealing. The Lobster Cajun pasta was my favorite. The pasta was cooked well and it had lots of flavor and seafood inside. My friends tried the lobster biscuit and thought it was ok. We had the fried salmon and grits which was good. We had mimosa carafes of all flavors, none disappointed. I finally got some greens on my plate in texas, so that made life better!
