The food was of course amazing! seasoned well, even the rice! One thing for sure. Their corn cakes. I usually don't care or that cause it's usually dry, cold, and tasteless. This place on the other hand was warm, crispy, and a touch of salt which is a plus to me! The chicharon. Pfft... forget about it. Crispy on the outside. Soft and tender! Oh man I just need like sauces to dip! to give it that nice finish! Everything else on the dish was cooked perfectly. The plantains was nice and soft and sweet, the chicken was fall off the bone, the steak was juicy and not overly tough! Definitely give this place a try! I would definitely order from here again!

The hostess from the coffee shop next door comes out and tells us that they are also Mr Mario and that we could order from the same menu. Taking a quick look, we decided to sit in the coffee shop. Ambience: a modern cafe vibe, like a larger more upscale Starbucks. It was relatively empty on an early Friday night. The menus weee on IPads, so you have to navigate and scroll through several screens. Food: we ordered: They were out of Rib soup, the special of the day?! Tostones with guac and chicharron - fried pork belly with guac and tostones. Comfort food at its finest 5/5 Chicken consomme - a little salty. 3/5 Grilled chicken cutlet - well seasoned, cut thin and tender. 4/5 Service - very friendly staff. Had a little language barrier challenges while ordering but we made it work. Tip was automatically added for a party of 4.

The drinks were off I couldn't exactly point what was wrong. Maybe the Coke was flat I'm not sure but it just wasn't good. As for the food, my friend got the steak (well done which he says is the only way that steak should be eaten, I beg to differ) as well as the chicken. The food is incredibly land, and my chicken was honestly wet for a lack of better terms. I can't recall the last time that pechuga (chicken breast) was wet and that's probably because it's not supposed to be! The only reason that I gave this place two stars is that the employees here were nice, but I wouldn't return especially when there are many better spots nearby- not necessarily for Colombian food but great food in general.

When I got in my car I noticed my drinks were both very low compared to the fact I paid full price for them and my empanadas weren't cheese ones they were beef. I've been going here for years for these smoothies I've always gotten them to the top and when I told her this she said oh well I used the same ingredients and the foam was a lot.
